  1. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that another Loki is not running the TVA. Lokis like chaos, so I don't see why a Loki would want to have only one timeline. I wonder if the outdated technology and the 50s/60s vibes, including the music, have anything to do with it. Like could the person actually be a human from that time period? I kinda hope it's not someone that we already know, like a variant Howard Stark. If it is just one person, they've got to be super smart. Unless they hijacked the technology from someone else. The shot of the medieval castle was very curious.
  2. And not just any Hi-C, but green Ecto-Cooler Hi-C! I loved that little touch.
  3. That sounds so weird! I'm imagining either a little shrine to a loved one, or sticking a loved one into a little closet. Neither sound very appealing.
  4. I just figured that they would have to have the same parents in order to both be Lokis. But I think I am looking at it too much in a real world, scientific way. I like the idea of them not having the same DNA, but instead only sharing the same metaphysical soul. It reminds me of the pixar movie Soul, where the soul exists before the body does, and the soul just drops down into a random body. lol That way you can have the same soul existing in different body types in different timelines, and experiencing different lives. Actually, this is kind of an a-ha moment, and the theory I am going with. It makes the whole Loki/Sylvie romance more palatable. 😆
  5. I have no idea how they are going to wrap this up in one episode. I can't believe there's only one left. 😢 I kinda hate the idea of Loki and Sylvie being in a romantic relationship, just because they are essentially siblings, if they share similar DNA and have the same parents. But I also don't understand how all the variants can be Loki. If they look so different, then their DNA would be different, and therefore they would not be the same person. And if they did have the same parents, how can one be an alligator?! I didn't get the impression that they were using magic to change their appearance. Sylvie doesn't even know how to use that kind of magic, does she? Although I do like the idea of Loki bonding with someone, and their scenes were sweet, I have to think of them as completely separate, unrelated people in order to get over the ick factor. The bowling alley was a cool, creepy set. I liked that kid Loki decked out his throne in giant candy cane decorations, since we know they didn't have candy on Asgard. lol I would have liked to have seen more versions of Tom's Loki. The one that got his hand bit off was so much fun. When I first heard about the show, I thought it was going to be about Loki causing havoc in different time periods. We've really only gotten a few tastes of that. But I can't complain, this show has been pretty amazing.
  6. I thought the cookie succulents should have won the first challenge. They looked amazing I’m glad the winner told her sob story, because when I first heard her, I thought her voice was really grating. But then finding out it was due to a medical condition helped, and then made me feel bad. lol I think the guy that did the giant baseball is the weakest. He didn’t even know what crepe paper was! I’m guessing he got chosen for the show to bring more diversity.
  7. I felt bad too. At the end, it’s like she wouldn’t even listen to him, she just kept talking over him. I thought it was the younger woman at first, partly because the hustler totally mispronounced orchid, but later I realized he probably did that on purpose. After the younger woman was eliminated, then I guessed the hustler. I thought the questions this episode were very difficult and random.
  8. I guessed the hustler in the very beginning but then was so unsure when the superbowl parade question came up. It really threw me off, as I wasn't sure if the show would be so obvious with a question. But none of the guys seemed like they went horseback riding regularly, and the body in the unicorn costume really fit Cara's body type, which was the main reason I stayed with her. I'm glad the long haired guy didn't win. He turned into a condescending jerk at the end. I kinda wish Craig would have called him out on his behavior. Instead he excused it by saying there was a lot of money at stake.
  9. I think they detected his temporal aura or something. I forget what it's called. Here's another crazy theory. I was rewatching the scene of Loki singing, and the way Sylvie looks at Loki is really odd. Maybe her mother used to sing her that song. Or what if her father did... her father who is another variant Loki? She probably is just a plain old Loki variant, but it'd be interesting if there was another twist!
  10. I think she did, she said something about how Loki picked the worst of her hiding spots. I don't think it would have to be another timeline, I thought her device let her go anywhere in time, so she could keep going back to the same place as many times as she wants. What I still don't understand is how she was able to get onto the sacred timeline from her own timeline. Did the TVA come to reset her timeline, and she somehow got a hold of a TemPad and escaped? Or was she brought to the TVA as a child and then escaped? If the TVA destroyed her timeline, that's a pretty good reason for her to want to get revenge.
  11. To be fair, they were on a moon, Lamentis-1, named after the planet, Lamentis. I don't know if they said the actual planet was habitable, but maybe it was never meant to be, so they didn't bother picking a better name. LOL
  12. I think that either Loki faked the destruction of the TemPad, or maybe the entire sequence after Sylvie woke up on the train is an illusion he's projecting in her mind. But that would be quite the illusion. I also think he still has the time stone or tesseract, and can use that to get off the planet. He's just delaying things in order to spend more time with Sylvie in order to figure her out. I loved Loki saying "You're so weird!" I get more of a brother/sister vibe from them then romantic vibes. Absolutely hated the purple turtleneck sweater guard outfit. I'm glad he changed back into the TVA outfit. I personally don't mind it! My bet on who Mobius was before is a high school teacher who was planning on splurging and buying a jetski.

    Loki In The Media

Hyundai must have paid a pretty penny for that! Loki driving my car is definitely something I thought I'd never see! 🤣 Is that canon now? lol
  14. New episode! And the first time the players got all the questions right! It actually made it harder to guess the hustler since so many of them were good with the trivia type questions. I thought the hustler was pretty obvious near the end, because of the way she was coming up with the correct answers, but then of course I always second guess myself, thinking maybe it's too obvious. At the start of the show, I thought it was the other woman, because she was making shifty faces and knew a lot of the answers. I never really thought it was any of the guys.
  15. I don't think she's trying to pretend to be him, she's just not going around letting the TVA know that they've got it wrong, that she's not Loki. Maybe she doesn't want anyone to know who she really is, so she's just letting people believe she's a Loki variant. I think I subscribe to what Wynterwolf wrote in the post right after yours. But I like that we don't really know for sure, so the show can keep us guessing!
  16. She didn't exactly admit to it. She said "Please, if anyone is anyone, you’re me.” Which doesn't necessarily mean she's saying they are the same. She could just be pretending to be Loki, or simply just not playing all her cards. As far as the part hidden behind your spoiler cut:

    Mewling Quotes

Season 1, episode 2: Loki: I'd never stab anyone in the back. That's such a boring form of betrayal. Loki: Be free my horned friends! Be free!
  18. I don't post in this forum, because most people here seem to hate the show, but I enjoyed it and was sad to hear that it was canceled. I hope it gets picked up somewhere else so they can finish the story!
  19. I think some people consider it killing, when an entire branch is cut down, and all the people in the branch cease to exist. I can see if from both ways. Are they are actually rewinding time to before the branch existed? Or somehow removing the entire branch at a later point? Either way, a second variation of the people existed at some point, and now they don't, due to a group's decision that they should not exist. This could be seen as "killing", although I don't think that's the best word for it.
  20. The show Expedition: Back to the Future actually first aired on Discovery Plus a few months ago. I'm guessing they wanted some new shows for when the streaming platform launched. I'm a big fan of Back to the Future, but not as big as the fans they showed during the show. lol I'm sure Josh was geeking out the entire time!
  21. Did he shift into Steve more than once in this episode? I only remember the one time, and that part was originally in Endgame. You can watch it here. If this show showed him doing it more than once, I'll have to watch again to catch it! Which, who are we kidding, I plan on doing anyway!
  22. I can see Loki being more driven to try to change his own fate, and the fate of his parents, as opposed to trying to the rule the universe. But why not do both? lol Also, I'm still a bit confused about the timelines. Is the original Loki still in the original timeline, which means that variant Loki basically has to be vanished from existence (I forgot what they called it) because he doesn't have a timeline to go back to? I can't really see him being up for that.
  23. I would think the TVA only interferes when the change causes the new timeline to veer too far away from the sacred timeline, but they scooped up Loki as soon as he used the tesseract, so who knows. If they can see the future, maybe they knew Loki's future actions were going to be too disruptive this time. I'm not convinced yet that the person causing havoc in the timeline is actually Loki, since they didn't show his face. If it was Loki, I don't think they would have kept them hooded and their face out of view. Unless it was frost giant Loki, or lady Loki, or some other version of him that they want to keep secret until the big reveal. In my headcanon, Loki was under the influence of the mind stone when he attacked earth, which made him his worst self. So although the Loki we're seeing here hasn't gone through the events and redemption arc that Endgame Loki has, I don't think he's truly evil. He's definitely done some horrible things, so that's how I justify liking the character so much. lol Here's what is written on the Marvel site which made me come to that conclusion. I felt bad for the little boy in the church when Mobius took his candy away. Probably was the first taste of sugar he's ever had! When Loki as DB Cooper was flirting with the flight attendant, I thought it was out of character, since I don't think we've ever seen him interested in anyone before. Then it turns out he was just messing with her, and the note wasn't about future sexy times, but about a bomb, and I was like, yep, that's the Loki I know and love! Not that I wouldn't mind sexy times with Loki. hehe
  24. I enjoyed this season and am sad it's over already. I watched this episode not realizing it was the finale. Although I'm curious about what the big mystery is, not knowing it doesn't ruin the show for me. Allie definitely looked a bit crazy at the end, and the daughter looked happy on the boat. Despite her breakdown on the beach, I think she takes after her dad. I think the government is after both of the parents, but I feel like Allie is definitely the linchpin and the one with the connections to Calaca.
  25. Thanks, I didn't catch that part. That's pretty crappy of them to make the daughter believe that her parents kidnapped her!
