  1. I thought both Mary Beth and Ty had a gun. Along with Levi, but I think they’re out of bullets. I’m not really following the storyline, but I’m still enjoying the show for what it is. Although I’m really tired of the main family and their love triangle drama. I prefer the side characters.
  2. I just assumed he married the German woman from last season because he now lives in Germany. Hopefully neither of them are too miserable! Personally I think his ego was just hurt. He was upset that she took over one of his cases, and we've seen in the past that he doesn't like it when she undermines him. They seemed to have been working pretty well together, but I think he wants a woman who is not going to interfere with his work life. Or at least that's what he's been conditioned to think. Hopefully he comes around, because Eliza won't.
  3. I kinda liked Halbrand turning into Sauron pretty quickly in this episode. Like as soon as he shows up in the forge room, he seems cagey and just gets cagier. It's weird that only Galadriel notices though. I mostly only care about their storyline. I enjoyed seeing him go into her mind, and the reflection of them in the water where they are standing together as king and queen was pretty cool. I thought there might be more wavering from Galadriel, but she was able to not give in... except she still went along with the rings being made and decided to keep Sauron's identity a secret. I don't know if she was embarrassed, or knew if she told the truth, the rings wouldn't get made. Elrond seemed to have figured it out too, but also didn't say anything. I got the impression, that for him, it was the negative influence of the rings that made him set that info aside. I still don't quite understand Sauron's motive or plans, and if he put something in the rings that will allow him to control them later. I do think he was a bit repentant and laying low when Galadriel found him on the raft, but when she brought him to the Southlands and pushed him to be king, he got a whiff of power again. I think it was in the first episode when one of the characters said something about how her incessant search for Sauron would actually bring him into the light. A few people here wondered how Sauron ended up on the raft, and in this interview with the actor, it sounds like we'll find out in season 2. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/rings-of-power-finale-sauron-actor-interview-1235240895/
  4. It wasn't technically in this episode, but I loved Austin and Tanner's duet! I was really surprised that no one saved Tanner, I really liked his voice, even though I don't like most country music. But I like old school country/blues, like Johnny Cash.
  5. It actually is true! It's called Lake Hollywood Park, but the hillside doesn't really match what they showed on TV. I don't think the signs would be able to tumble all the way down to the park. I don't understand why Gavin assumed the sink hole brought them to LA just because they saw the sign debris. By his logic, if the Seattle sinkhole could bring them to LA, then the LA sinkhole could have brought the debris anywhere. I was thinking the new baddies were warriors from 1000 England or something, but I don't think they're historically accurate, and they're so cheesy looking! I was hoping Zach and Kelly would stick around in the 80s for a while, because I love the 80s, but it looks like they're headed straight to the sinkhole. Hopefully they're smarter than Gavin's team and actually bring supplies with them, if they decide to jump in.
  6. Do you mean Ben? Sam was the original leaper. I liked this episode better than the first, but this reboot just doesn't seem to have the heart that the original series had. There are multiple TV stations showing the original series, and I've caught a few episodes recently. I think I saw most of the original episodes when they first aired, but it was so long ago. I think part of the problem with the reboot, as someone else suggested, is due to the split timelines and not getting to delve deep enough into the characters and story in the leap timeline. Also, Ben seems more concerned about himself and getting home, where Sam seemed to truly care about the person he was leaping into and their life.
  7. Will and Cora are so horrible at hiding their feelings towards each other. Their dance was super awkward. And I can't believe they just had sex like that out in the open where anyone could see them. That kiss was awkward as well. I really don't understand how Will can be in love with Cora after such a short time. I just don't think they've shown us enough evidence of the intense connection they apparently feel. I also hope Will's wife does go to London to seek treatment, but she seems to have resigned herself to dying and is trying to push her husband towards Cora even more than he already is, since she views her as a good replacement. I just can't see Cora being happy as the husband of a vicar in a small town. She seemed more happy when the London gang showed up for her party. Are we to assume from Luke's dancing that he has Romani heritage or something similar, and that's why he hasn't been accepted? I hope Naomi is OK and hasn't committed suicide, or been killed by someone, like the fanatical teacher.
  8. You can watch a dodgy version of it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/TheMandalorianTV/comments/uyoze4/mandalorian_season_3_leaked_trailer_from_todays/ I’m pretty bummed that we have to wait until next year for season 3. Ah well.
  9. I think he was testing his faith, as well as his belief that there isn’t a mysterious creature that could attack him. I agree that the relationships between all the main characters is really odd. I thought at first that maybe Luke was gay and he just wanted to get with Cora for her money. I don’t think that any longer, but I’m not really sure what the attraction is other than she’s different than other women. The look he gave the maid, and the look she gave him, when Cora entered her bedroom was also strange and I’m not sure what to make of it.
  10. What a weird, abrupt ending. I thought something was wrong with my tv at first. I hope they didn’t kiss, especially with Will’s wife watching. Not much really happened in this episode except for the boat being “attacked”. Could it be a shark? I guess I’m ruling out anything supernatural just because the show seems too grounded in reality.
  11. I have no idea who Cheyenne Jackson or Teyana Taylor are. I've never even heard their names. I know Hayley because I watch the Goldbergs, but It never crossed my mind that she was under the mask, despite hearing her sing numerous times on the show. I don't really understand how Teyana won. I never thought her voice was that great. I'm thinking that maybe the judges are asked not to reveal who is under the mask too early on, if they are quite certain of it, because it would ruin the guessing for the fans.
  12. I think the woman is her maid, maybe with benefits. The way the maid kissed Cora on the neck, I got the impression that the maid is in love with Cora, although I'm not sure if the feeling is mutual. The plot line with the doctors is odd. Does the one doctor really fancy Cora? I find him creepy and lacking empathy. Does the other doctor like the maid? Or does he just like being around her because she's showing him a world that he's not familiar with? As far as the serpent, the opening scene confused me, because it definitely looked like there was a creature that attacked the girl. Unless her sister was imagining it. I don't know of any living animal that would move that quickly and would live in that environment. I'm guessing Cora and Will might have an affair, but I hope that doesn't happen. Will's wife seems pretty awesome. I'm not sure of the exact year this takes place, but I was bit surprised at seeing the women being so independent, traveling around on their own, and being so free with their thoughts. I'm not sure if that is historically accurate. Maybe it was, I honestly don't know. As a fellow Tom Hiddleston fan, I'd say he looks pretty hot. He has a nice blue scarf which really brings out the color of his eyes. lol
  13. He does look really frail. I saw him recently, for the first time in a while, on the FOX show Name That Tune, and was surprised at how thin he was. Hopefully it’s not a health issue.
  14. Laine's performance made me sad. Stupid boy. I believe in second chances, so I do hope he can learn a lesson and eventually try to repair his singing career. It was fun seeing all the past contestants, and for the most part, I thought they all sounded great. I see a lot of flack online about how AI hasn’t been the show that it once was. But if a lot of the contestants can make a living doing what they love, thanks to the exposure that AI has given them, then I think that says a lot. :)
  15. In a celebration of the milestone 20th season, American Idol greats Ruben Studdard, Scotty McCreery, Jordin Sparks, David Cook, Lauren Alaina, Kris Allen, Maddie Poppe, Laine Hardy, Willie Spence, Caleb Lee Hutchinson, Grace Kinstler, Laci Kaye Booth, past judges Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson, and additional surprise guests will reunite on the Idol stage for a night of unforgettable performances.
  16. I love The Little Mermaid, so I enjoyed Katy’s costume, especially the cute/funny hair, but I’m really over her theatrics. I honestly don’t know how Orlando can live with her. 😅 I think Nicolina should have made her performance even more theatrical. She said she was trying to find a balance, but I think she should have gone all pop (although I don’t know what that would have sounded like) or 100% theatrical. She was definitely more on the theatrical side so I think she should have just gone all in. But she still did a great job and probably had my favorite performance of the night. It was nice hearing Huntergirl sing a non country song. I’m not usually a fan of her voice. I thought she sounded better, but still not that great.
  17. Such a bizarre story. Laine was one of my favs, so I'm very disappointed in him. I'm guessing he thought his girlfriend was cheating on him, and wanted to get proof. What a stupid move.
  18. I think they’re kind of grasping at straws, trying to find connections, but I’ve actually enjoyed the Portugal parts just because of how beautiful the places that they’ve visited have been. Adding Portugal to my bucket list!
  19. The handrails question had me laughing. Leave it to a kid to ask the important questions! I'm guessing her answer means that she will be directing an episode of season 3 and it'll have some funny line about the lack of guardrails.
  20. I just saw on Cameron’s IG that he does have ADHD, which isn’t really a surprise. I don’t want him to be drugged up to have to perform, so I hope he can find another way to focus. Also saw that he plays the drums pretty well. I wonder if he can sing and play drums at the same time? At least then he wouldn’t be jumping around onstage. lol
  21. Oh Cameron. I really wish he would have listened to Bebe. I wonder if he would be able to sustain that level of energy for 2 hours? I just happened to be on IG when I saw he was doing an IG live. I only tuned in for a minute, but he said he should have listened to the advice and that he will try better next time to find a better balance of energy and focusing on his vocals.
  22. I still love Cameron, but his manic behavior is starting to annoy me. I hope he learns to tone it a down a bit when he's on stage. When he's jumping around and doing back flips, it's a bit hard to take him serious. I also thought his song choice wasn't a good one (although I like the song), so I'm glad he still made it into the Top 24. I'm glad they didn't put Kelcie through. She just didn't seem to be enjoying herself, and not all singers are cut out for American Idol. In past years, the judges have talked about how AI isn't just about the voice, it's about the entire package. I'm a bit saddened to hear that she's pregnant at 18, because that's not going to be easy. With her grandmother gone, I hope she has some other supportive people in her life.
  23. He survived! I thought he was going to die because they showed him getting trampled, but then we see him later in the prisoner exchange.
  24. I think Hydra was more entertaining than Lemur, and the fact that there are at least 2 people (who might be comedy legends) in the costume makes it more interesting. Count me in the group of people who miss the First Impression guesses. I found the reveals amusing.
  25. I was on Instagram and I discovered this singer, Ryan Aragast, who auditioned for this season and made it past the first round. But I don’t think they’ve show him on tv at all, have they? I think he has a really good voice. It makes me wonder how many other good contestants we’re not being shown. https://www.instagram.com/tv/CbtUWedAsn9/
