Season 16 Live Feed Discussion: Keeping an Eye Out
Callaphera replied to Stinger97's topic in Past Seasons
I think I just laughed for two minutes straight reading that. Oh, Caleb. I do remember hearing that story before, or seeing it on the big list of Caleb's dubious claims. Knowing him, he was talking about another time when he was four and paralyzed, not the same time as the mysterious African man. Must also explain why everyone just ignored him and kept talking about Frankie peeing in front of the nurse. Maybe Victoria should share her pain meds with Caleb. He's probably be pretty entertaining flying high on those, too. Imagine the stories we'd hear then... -

I think the same thing every year, and yet here I am back for more anger and abuse. Maybe it's the high snark potential. It's the reason why I watch all the award shows, too. Caleb: When I was four and paralyzed... Damn it, I want to hear the rest of this! Why do I need to hear about Frankie peeing in front of a nurse?! Cray-Cray Caleb sounds like he's ramping up to a good story there! ETA: Caleb: I don't know my times tables, they stop at 5. I'm not book smart... Truer words have never been spoken, Caleb. -

She's on four pills every four to six hours. Derrick and Frankie were debating earlier about whether they would give her Percocet or Vicodin, decided maybe Tylenol with codeine, but probably just strong anti-inflammatories. She's been asking everyone about their wisdom teeth horror stories and her face is swollen. Derrick said she showed him a week or two back and they were beginning to break through the gums. Victoria normally is funny to me. I can't wait to see her high as a kite on pain meds. Much as I love her and want her to go all the way, I would take a Victoria sacrifice if it kept Donny and Nicole together for another shot at HOH. Plus I hate to see someone in pain that isn't self-inflicted like her extensions. ETA: I remembered the "every four to six hours" because when she took them in the DR around noon and she told Frankie, she looked at the clock (12:45 ish) and said, "So I can take four more at two o'clock?" Wonder if she went to the same school as Cody. Thankfully Frankie told her the right time to take more. -

Victoria is apparently having major issues with her wisdom teeth and is on painkillers. Any chance of either a pity eviction or Victoria doing a medical DOR and no eviction this week? Frankie was bitching that his HOH week was essentially useless with Nicole coming back, now it could happen to Cody. We still have a chance for a Chima moment! -

"Sucking up to the HOH" has a whole new meaning with those two. Not that Cody would mind. Didn't he say the other day that he "wasn't the one who was married"? Aw, how cute, he thinks he's innocent in this whole situation. I can't tell if it's because of the people left in the house or the extra cup of coffee I had this morning, but I'm super snarky today. And this is why I'll never be on Big Brother. -

I'm assuming it was a soccer scholarship but I don't care enough to actually find out. Don't you usually have to maintain at least a 3.0 in order to stay on a sports team? Although Cody did claim (or was forced to say) that NFL football is his most favouritist sport of all time in the DR during the NFL comp. -

I was wrong about his 3.0 in Beginner Vocab. Clearly he skipped that class but aced Basic Shapes and Colours. Must've lifted his whole average with that class. ETA: How much do you think it would blow Cody's mind to see "colour" spelled with a u. Frankie to Christine: He's HOH. You're supposed to do things for him, not the other way around. Oh, don't worry. Give her a dark room, five minutes, and a promise the cameras won't be on, and I'm sure she'll do "things" for him. -

Now we get Dumbass Theater, starring Caleb and Derrick as they try to turn on the television screen in the HOH room. Anyone else remember fondly the days of strategizing and alliance shifting and entertainment? Can we have Devin back? -

I'd rather watch Donny eating tofu and humming to himself in the kitchen than watch Cody holding court in the backyard as he goes over his nom speech (again). God, what a fucking sad season this turned out to be. -

Cody: "I'm not crazy smart, but I'm not stupid. I graduated with a 3.0." In what, fingerpainting and Beginner Vocabulary? I'm surprised this kid got past elementary school, let alone through college. -

All they would have to do is appease his ego. "Oh, Frankie, we wanted to work with you because you're sooo famous!" On the other hand, it would get Frankie a lot more camera time. A bonus for him, torture for me. I think the twist this year is that Derrick already won the game, now they're just playing out the rest for shits and giggles. -

BBAD may get a new chapter of The Frankie J. Grande story, like they got The Caleb Monologues before. Hey, for once I'm happy that I don't get BBAD over here. -

It's my birthday this weekend, so if Big Brother wanted to give me a nice present, either one of them winning works for me. -
Nah. In bed, puking in a bucket. Best of both worlds. When Jocasta's mouth was moving (silently, thankfully) at a million miles a minute during the comp, I thought she was gonna start speaking in tongues again. Maybe she was just warming up, in case she won.

What is it about a returnee that causes such sudden paranoia? Derrick starting to lose his shit is entertaining. I need Nicole or Donny to win HOH. This is probably our last chance for a decent power shift. It won't last long, but at least it could make for a fun week. -
Zach's face when Victoria showed the pieces of the hat in her goodbye message was priceless. It looked a lot like his face when Kathy Griffin zinged him. He can dish it, but he can't take it? I think it didn't matter who came in the house from the jury. The numbers are so clearly against them, no one is going to flip. At least Nicole and Donny are cute together. For a second there, I thought Jocasta was going to win it. I forgot to look: did they have a bucket near Jocasta for her to puke in?

I don't think they should get the win for the Neighbourhood Watch. There should have been some sort of requirement that the items had to remain "lost" for the duration of the 24 hours. Then again, I'm mean like that. -

Oh, that's gross. I'd DOR at that point. I know the ants come every year, but I don't really remember an infestation this bad. Those people are such pigs. I can't wait for the juror competition tonight. Not because I care that much who comes back, they're pretty screwed with the numbers anyway, but because I want to see how Jocasta is going to deal with it. Will they have a puke bucket and a bed for her to crawl into off to the side? Is she going to speak in tongues? -

(edited to remove quote also posted above, no need to clog the boards) For a bit there, I thought she was being genuine. Then that happened. He told her that he knew she threw it, without so much as saying it. She continues to play innocent. That right there shoulda sunk it. Even if she doesn't blab, Donny should realize that he can't trust her because if she can't even admit that when he's laid it out for her... It was such a good moment until then. -

I think Christine is going to run and blab about the conversation, while saying that he was soooo scary that she didn't know how to go away. Cody, hold me! She "swore on her life" that Caleb took the bone out of her hand during the last BotB. Uh, yeah, after you handed it him and practically pressed it into his hand. That one little line makes me think that there was nothing genuine on her half of the conversation. A large assumption to make, but it's Christine. I'm not saying that she should blab all her secrets, but I think it would have been beneficial to her to tell the truth about that. Donny knows that she threw that comp. What's the point of trying to maintain your innocence. I wonder if the DR will work on her. Probably not, because it isn't beneficial to Frankie's game. -

They got a dart board. They trust these fools with sharp, pointy darts? Seriously? This is going to be like the pool table whenever they're locked in. The guys are never gonna leave. Any chance this is some sort of weird practice for an upcoming comp? Probably not, I'm guessing. ETA: Oh, it looks like one of those lame magnetic ones. They only get it for 24 hours, though, I guess. The darts have to go back in the storage room and the board must remain where it is, and they'll get the darts once a week. Laaaame, just like the rest of the season. -

Season 16 Live Feed Discussion: Keeping an Eye Out
Callaphera replied to Stinger97's topic in Past Seasons
In the beginning of the season, I was reminded of that "rule" when Devin was HOH and running around telling everyone "I'm not saying yes, I'm not saying no, I'm saying be prepared," when talking to his potential nominees. I always think it's kinda funny how in the beginning of the season, everyone is so cautious about breaking that rule and by the fourth or fifth week, they're just casually telling people, "Yeah, you're going up." They would only dust it off and put it into use if the production's pet went up and since Frankie is safe once again... I'm glad they didn't use that damned Renom Rule. Not only did it keep Victoria from going on the block, I'm more than ready for Zach to go. The only other thing I would have liked to see was Frankie being penalty nominated for breaking said rule, but that would never happen. There is no one I want gone more than Frankie at this point. I didn't find him funny or cute in the beginning when he was flitting around and overacting and being "cute", and I certainly don't like this new real version of Frankie. Frankie is officially on my unranked unofficial list of Most Disliked Houseguests Ever, right up there with Aaryn, Amanda, and Evel Dick. He hasn't burnt anyone or dumped a drink on anyone, he hasn't made racial comments, but I feel he deserves his place on the list. He makes me not want to turn on the feeds anymore. I haven't watched for a week now, just followed updates and this forum. He's just obnoxious, hateful, mean, and not funny. And I get very tired of him asking Zach if they can have sex already. This season is really testing my patience with my favourite summer show. Is it too late to kick them all out and start again?
