Caleb, the lens-less plastic nerd glasses don't make you look smarter. Seriously. You just look even more like a tool. -

Whoever is controlling the cameras is having a ball. That poor bird pillow. How long does Devin think his speech can go on for? He's been at it for awhile. Doesn't he realize that it's just going to be edited down to thirty seconds or a minute? Feeds are going to be off forever if he keeps blathering on and on during the ceremony. -

I wish I understood how production, the staff, whoever runs that house. I've been hearing about how they keep getting these big, expensive pieces of fish in their groceries for dinner, but Jocasta was saying that when she was given allergy meds in the diary room the other day, they were expired by a year. I know they have to save money in places. They reused the bathroom door from last season, because they were talking about etchings that were painted over but readable from Amanda, McCrae, and Judd. But really? Keeping medication from the year before? -

And accuse her of being paranoid. Coming from the King of Paranoia, that's pretty funny. This whole conversation is just making me appreciate Brittany much more. Anyone would come across as great compared to Devin, and she's obviously a bit defensive, but if she were talking to a rational, logical person, it might have made a difference. He really just wants to keep interrupting her, and then huffing and puffing when she interrupts him back. Unfortunately, I think it's just going to make him want her out more. -

All I've learned over the past two hours is that Andy still dresses like he shops in the little boy's section of Old Navy, Rachel is going on a "baby"moon to get knocked up thanks to The Amazing Race, and Ian at least put a female in his initial top four from this season. I would say they need more of these to keep us from going insane, but I'm afraid it might end up being McCrae or Amanda. It certainly seems to lean that way. If that's the case, hang in there, Brittany! Edit: it sounds like Devin won POV. Well, crap. -

I would pay to have trivia back during the feed outages. Jeff interviewing Andy? No thank you. -

If they don't use the "wacky shenanigans" music and sound bit, I'm going to be so sad. They'll have to edit Devin down a lot (does he breathe when he talks? It just keeps coming and coming), but the crazy should shine through on that. "Deny, deny, deny" should be part of a drinking game. Then again, I don't know if anyone could pour fast enough, as often as Devin seemed to be saying it. -

Watching Caleb apologize and then talk to Devin about everything was fascinating. I'd say Caleb got the last word, but that was a well-fought battle. In summary, when Devin finds out his Kick Out Brittany plan may be blowing up: Devin: Let's get everyone in the Bomb Squad upstairs, we need to talk. Caleb: No, others will get suspicious. Devin: Who cares? We have the votes. Deny deny deny. Bring 'em up. Caleb: Well, let me go around and ask everyone first how they'll vote, it'll be less suspicious, and then I can Telephone the answers back to you. Devin: Nope, doesn't work. In person, face to face. Go get everyone, right now, deny deny deny any alliance. Caleb: Okay, but... everyone wanted you to nominated last time, just so you know. It didn't deter Devin's brilliant plan to gather the other seven alliance members upstairs, he's currently blah blah blahing to all of the Bomb Squad in the HOH. Devin's stubbornness paid off for him this time, by not allowing secondhand information. But damn did I laugh when Caleb dropped the last bit, kinda like a "so there" or a hair flip at the end of a bitchy statement. Edited to add: Aaaand they cut the feeds for veto right when Devin was asking who in the alliance wanted him gone. Damn it, Big Brother. I wanted to see the end of that! -
Season 16 Live Feed Discussion: Keeping an Eye Out

I never expected Amber to go against her alliance when it came to nominations. I wished that she would, because it makes the game more interesting, but I fully expected her to follow along with what the alliance wanted. As a West Coaster without time shifting channels, I was already three hours behind when I popped on the feeds, but from then until they went down during the nomination ceremony, it never once seemed to me like she made her own nomination choices. Devin gave her absolutely no wiggle room when it came to her nominees. She really didn't have a chance. But she never once seemed to speak up for herself, just looked around wide-eyed and bite her lip and continue to say, "I don't know". She would have been a horrible HOH regardless of who else won, in my opinion, but I expected to see some personality or fire to her. I think the Bomb Squad was the wrong move for her, and if Devin and Caleb keep control, her game is done. I honestly thought her game was done when Caleb fixated on her. Yes, she's part of the majority alliance, but realistically, if it continues on that same path, she's top 6 at best. Maybe up to two spots higher if she keeps putting lipstick kiss marks on Caleb's face. She might have great stealth game play and I'm reading it wrong, but I have yet to be impressed by the decisions she has made regarding noms and the Caleb situation. She seems to just roll over so far. On a related topic, I'm curious to know what she thinks of the Caleb situation. Caleb seems to come across as a creep on the feeds. I understand that the feed watchers see conversations that the other HGs don't. Has it somehow not gotten around to Amber about how much Caleb talks about her? I know it seems like every conversation Caleb has when Amber isn't in the general area soon turns to Amber. He's not exactly quiet and stealth talking about it, and it seems he talks to everyone in the house about his attraction to her, except her. I wonder how Caleb comes across to her. Maybe he doesn't seem as creepy in person? Maybe they're surprisingly tight-lipped about it around her? Whether it was her intent or not, I have no doubt that the lipstick kiss mark on his cheek has only encouraged him further. -

She needs to stop letting herself get barreled over by her alliance-mates and speak up for herself. I'm not sure if he was joking, but I think Caleb was called to the DR earlier, because he said something about how "they" made him wipe off the lipstick kiss from his face. He then, of course, proceeded to joke to Amber about how "they" wanted her to do it again. She laughed and said no. I wonder how many more times Caleb is going to try to get another tonight. God, he's a creep. -

I really hope that it's a picture from his go at HOH. Because if that's a picture of Amber, he just took it to a whole new even creepier place. -

I was surprised that they did the double HOH, nominations, and BotB all in one night. Yikes. Poor Amber has no backbone and got bullied into her nominations. She was uncomfortable and wide-eyed, trying to think of who to nominate, and Devin is there all, "Oh, you're going to pick these two? Well, if I pick first, then I'll pick them, so you need to put up Nicole." I felt bad that she had to share the HOH room with him (for all of four hours?), but seriously. Grow a backbone, girl. Alliance be damned. It's not like the Bomb Squad will take her any higher than #6. And to use the reasoning that you got what you wanted from HOH in your letters from home, so you put up two people strong enough to win BotB and also take her out of HOH? No. That's weak. She did herself no favours there. Watching Devin run around the house and repeat his "I'm not saying yes, I'm not saying no, I'm just saying Be Prepared" to all of the potential nominees was pretty funny, though. On the upside, I saw some rumblings of people starting to realize that Frankie is playing all sides of the house, and agreement than Caleb and Devin are running the game. Whether anyone does anything about it, though... Honestly, it would have been a stretch to pull off, but why did no one tell Amber's nominees to throw the competition to dethrone Devin, start making deals about POV, and hope that they could take one of the nominees off the block to replace them with Devin? Sure, it's a potential suicide mission, but it would have been awesome if they could have pulled it off. -

What I don't understand about Caleb and Amber: As The Stomach Turns is where Devin's place is in all of it. Is it because he feels the need to interject himself in every conversation and situation? Does he really care about the Caleb/Amber situation? Is he just trying to stir the pot? Has he completely lost his mind, if he even had it with him when they went into the house? He just seemed way into the whole Amber conversation last night, and then recounting it for Caleb, there were many points where he would be laughing and smiling at inappropriate times (I was listening with one ear, so I may be wrong about that part). He really seemed to enjoy it. Too bad he didn't do it before the Veto meeting. I wonder who'll be the next one to blow up and take the heat off of him. Maybe Zach? He's been bashing Victoria occasionally, talking about how she's ugly and he's going to ruin her life. -

Devin "came clean" to the house about how he was the one behind Donny being nominated and how the dirty play stops now, because he wants to be a good role model for his daughter, and he cried through the whole thing. At the end, the houseguests, minus Caleb and Amber, applauded him and congratulated him on the speech. Devin then went into the HOH bathroom crying, and the house agreed that he just secured himself a nomination. I unfortunately missed the beginning on the hunt for ice cream. Goes good with the drama. -

Is it wrong that I'm laughing at Devin's sobbing mess of a house meeting? At least something is laughable, since I could barely stomach Caleb and Amber seemingly "reconciling". -

And then, listening to Devin recap the conversation with Caleb, he gets a touch hilarious when he calls out Caleb for always talking about Amber and how much he wishes he would shut up about it sometimes. It didn't make him any less of a douche, but it did give me a bit of a chuckle. Edit: This just in. Amber's diss about Caleb being full of himself is because she is or almost on her period. I am shocked that I didn't come up with that first. And here I was thinking it was because she just wasn't interested in him. No, it's because of the monthly visit. -

Has Amber, at any time, flat out said "No, I'm not interested" to Caleb? Not excusing his behaviour at all, but it may help her to flat out shut him down. And she should bring two bodyguards with her, just in case. -

Has Joey lost her mind? Dressing up and yelling at the house as her "brother" Alex, throwing stuff around? Yikes. I'm not quite sure what she thought she was going to accomplish with that, but she seemed to think it broke the ice and was funny. I heard her get called into the diary room, I wonder if she's going to get a talking to about throwing weights in the backyard and throwing the bean bag pillows in the Beehive room while it was filled with people. That was just odd. -

I loved how he followed that up with talking about working out without his shirt on, and the Live Feed watchers taking screenshots of it. Only if you fall flat on your face while doing it, honey. He really is creeptastic. I keep hoping that if he does spill all to her, she shuts him down hard. Hell hath no fury like a bunny boiler scorned? -

Ugh. Paola open-mouthed chewing (chomp chomp SMACK SMACK SMACK) on potato chips right near her microphone was driving me nuts. That alone should be enough to evict her. They took such pains to make sure not to cast smokers, or so it seems, but they should really start quizzing them on whether they open mouth chew. -

Listening to Joey talk to other HGs in the backyard about making a play for Devin to go up instead of her, and them encouraging and discouraging her, and listening to her actually TELL Devin this, I really hope she lasts another week and they keep threatening to put her up so the entertainment continues. I know she won't, she might as well rehearse an exit speech, but damn. She has no idea how to play this game. Also, who ends a conversation about "Sorry, I'm going to tell them I want you gone" with "I have to poop"? -
