Season 17 Live Feed Discussion: Watch People Sleep All Day!
Callaphera replied to Stinger97's topic in Past Seasons
Okay. Now Austin, downstairs, asks Liz if Julia told Vanessa about the hinky vote for Audrey. So Austin knows that he's lied to Vanessa and she knows it. This is great! Watching Austin freak out about this is awesome. I have no idea what Liz is going to do. -

Wow, Austin just sunk himself with that whole "I don't know who voted for Audrey" thing. Ha! I'm surprised he hasn't clued in why Vanessa keeps hammering that point with him. -

Telling him five minutes before she puts him up, anyway. I would prefer the shocked face. Shelli is freaking out in the HoH bathroom with Vanessa. Before the POV comp, Austin and Liz pulled Vanessa aside to tell her that Austin had a suspicion that there was a six person alliance in the house that was gunning for Clay to stay on the block and be voted out, so if Becky or Johnny Mac were in the lead in POV, Vanessa had to fight like hell to win. Vanessa shares this with Shelli, who of course had the same feelings as far back as BotB that the plan was for Becky to throw the comp and keep Clay up there. They have said that Austin may be making it up, but Shelli is getting heated about this. They're now planning on asking Liz about this but of course, Austin has made his way up to the HoH room. This week is more fun than I thought it would be with Audrey gone. -

It takes these women in the house forever to put on their makeup. Damn. -

Vanessa and Liz finally have a moment alone in the HoH room and Vanessa is starting the groundwork for the talk about Austin wanting to get Julia out next. She was even smart enough to tell a fresh from the shower, wearing a towel Liz to pick up her microphone so they don't get called out on the loudspeaker. C'mon Liz, get dressed a little faster! Vanessa was saying that she would have told Liz earlier (they haven't talked yet) but it was hard to get her alone up there. Liz says that Austin is starting to annoy her because he won't leave her alone. Heh. This is gonna be a great backdoor. -

Clay actually won something?! I didn't think that would happen this season. I was hoping for a long string of Clay sucking in every comp. -

I thought her body language was very telling after she swapped back into the house and was in the bathroom with him talking. Every time his hand went to her inner thigh, the second it moved away, she closed her legs and turned them to the side away from him. His hand on her bare stomach? The second it moved, she pulled her shirt back down and crossed her arms there as if it shield it. She kept her face turned away as much as she could while he was trying to nuzzle into her neck/shoulder. I think she thought she could "flirtmance" with him to use him as her shield. Keep him interested while she put in a small amount of effort and profit from that. But she didn't know that he would be going full on Caleb-with-the-bunny-slippers-and-pickles on her. -

James doesn't have a good record for BotB, does he? He performed so badly on the pattern matching one that people questioned whether he was throwing it. Now he goes to throw one and ends up having to win. And apparently Clay is 0 for 7 comps. Oh yeah, guys, he's totally going to beast that comp. Uh huh. This backdoor Austin plan is so going to blow up and we'll lose Steve instead. I have no problems with that but I'd much rather see Austin go first and before jury. -

The only downside to Vanessa remaining HoH (because I'm all about what causes the most drama in the house) is that we're going to hear a reprisal of The Reason: The Austin Edition for the next few days. Constantly. Without end. -

Sounds like James and Liz won BotB and Jackie has been dethroned. -

To be fair, Judas is just a name and a hat, not even a personality. He can't even be bothered to develop a character for Judas. So basically just Austin looking like a dork and calling himself by the wrong name. And we thought Audrey was the nutcase. -

I can't wait for when Liz can get away from Austin and go upstairs to talk to Vanessa and get filled in about Austin wanting to get Julia out. I'm gonna need some popcorn for that one. -

Austin's sick, from "casting the evil spirits out" of Audrey's cape (I guess the blanket that she shrouded herself with?). Which makes the not washing the hands thing even worse. And now Liz is gonna get pawed by him. I'm shocked he's not sniffing and scratching at the door like a dog. -

I stayed up way too late last night because I find the Godfather-style meetings with the new HoHs before nominations pretty interesting and sometimes telling of a person's strategy (not so much this season, but...). Last night, when Jackie and Vanessa had Meg, Jason, and James in the second HoH room and they were discussing who would volunteer to go on the block with Liz to throw it, the conversation wrapped up and Vanessa cautioned them all to leave the room one at a time, not in a big group, to look less shady. Jackie bounces up and runs back into the main HoH room... and production had flipped their lock at the top of the HoH door so that no one could come in the room and interrupt them. Essentially locking them in and keeping the rest of the house out. Jackie, of course, starts shouting at BB to let them out which makes Vanessa look like she wanted to facepalm. So, either someone hit the wrong button in the production room and accidentally flipped the production lock on the door... or production is down for an Austin backdoor. I refuse to believe anything else. It was nice of production, anyway, since they had all gathered in the second HoH room and Jackie hadn't thought of locking the damned HoH door to keep people from wandering in. James could still spill the beans. He didn't look too happy about volunteering to go up (the reasoning being that he had put Jackie up on the block before, so payback) and seemed much more animated when Meg was reluctantly/jokingly offering before that. They had woken his ass up to have the conversation, but still. I wonder if he's gonna ruin it with his big mouth. He had been talking to Austin a lot more. The other great moment of the meetings was when Austin was pitching his deal to Jackie. He told her that he wanted to go to jury with Jackie, because she seems like a lot of fun. They could have a lot of fun together in the jury house. Cue an awesome look from Jackie and a slow, "Uh, so what's up with you and Liz, then?" He backpedaled and claimed that he meant just as friends, but it came across more like Jackie was his backup plan in the jury house. Which is... ugh. I can't believe I was rooting for this guy at one point. -

I'm ridiculously excited for a non-Sixth Sense member winning this week. I have no idea who Jackie is going to put up, but hopefully it shakes some people up. I did like her saying to Vanessa earlier in the week that if she were to win HoH, there were some people in the house who had never been on the block before and maybe they should see what it feels like. I've been enjoying her ever since that talk with Vanessa, where she turned down the safety deal because she didn't need it. -
That shot of Audrey in the DR, curling up on the chair and pulling the blanket over her head made me laugh. I couldn't help it. I've never seen that before. Audrey was treated pretty decently during her eviction, editing wise. The exit interview was a nice fluff piece. Jackie had her game face on during that HoH comp. She could be an interesting HoH, though I'd imagine that Vanessa was her target since she was the one who got Jeff ousted. I have no idea who Jackie would put up. I wish the other HoH had been anyone but a member of the Sixth Sense. James is useless if he keeps obviously throwing comps like that. If you're going to have them do the stupid Whackstreet Boys performance, make sure they can actually hear the music in the house. That was bad. After 17 seasons, you'd think they'd have the live show down to perfection by now instead of all these bad sound and video errors that happen every week.

It's poor Becky's fault. Not James, who made her an omelet. Not whoever left her the apple and crackers the one day. Not the producers, who supposedly said she could eat real food because of the meds she was on. Not her, for actually eating the food. Nope, it's all Becky's fault. I must have missed the part where she sat on Audrey and forced the pizza in her mouth. Audrey is wandering around without a microphone and not getting called out. This is getting to the point of ridiculousness. -

Audrey is alive in the HN room, chatting with Vanessa (and Jackie when she comes back in and out) and is pretty normal talking about what she's going to say on the live show. Whatever. They're speculating on whether she might be sequestered and brought back. Well, if they were, I don't think you would be included. And she just sang her song from last night again for Vanessa this time. Okay. -

Well someone sure is a pampered princess this week. I'm sure it was the only way that they could convince her to come out and get ready for the "live" show, but come on. Has anyone been given so many allowances as she's been given in this short of time for no reason other than her game got blown up and she'll have to go home before jury? Whether she has an anxiety issue or not, whether she's on medication or not doesn't matter. She signed up for a TV show, she knew what she was getting into, and when the shit hits the fan, she sulked and threw herself a pity party. Yeah, this is on the producers too if she has a legit concern because this is what the screening process is for and we all know that they purposely cast people that will cause drama, but I think they and Audrey bit off more than they could chew with this situation. If there were something truly truly wrong with Audrey, I would like to think that they would remove her from the environment, live show be damned. (Then again, the BB producers...) I don't expect this show to be live. There's no way. I bet Audrey is going to look like a million bucks, she's going to come out of the house to applause and mild cheers, Julie will go easy on her and that will be that. And this is the whole reason I became a feeds watcher because yesterday's edit job just screamed "There's so much more to the story, guys!" If tonight's HoH is an endurance and the show isn't live, I will be a little annoyed. I love watching those finish on the feeds and you know this group isn't going to hold on for very long. Hell, half of them will throw it before five minutes is up. -

What the fuck was Audrey just doing, wrapped in her blanket and flapping her wings in the HN room? I turned on the feeds just to catch her yelling something at the camera before the feed changed to the living room. -

Must be time for the next Ativan. -
That ending was so jarring. We go from a confrontation in the HoH room with Clay, Shelli, and Vanessa and after the commercial break: zombie Audrey! That made it seem like there is way more to the story than just a raised voices argument. They couldn't have put Audrey's tuque on the nomination chair like they did last season with Jocasta's bowtie? Shelli crying about the idea of her putting Audrey on the block was eye-rollingly annoying. Really? It's a game, people. Start treating it like one.

I don't think they can do her eviction live. What are they going to do, storm the BB house with security guards to haul her out from behind the dentist chairs in the HN room? I keep hoping to see an outdoor lockdown just to see if she would appear but I think it's indoor lockdown now. It's sad. Once the feeds went live, I thought Audrey had so much potential as a game player. I thought she would go far, not because of the whole transgender thing but because she seemed to be an actual game player. Instead we get a melodramatic death bed scene that's nothing more than a three year old pitching a fit because Mommy wouldn't buy her the doll she wanted. I thought she would go down swinging and throwing people under the bus. Go out in a blaze of glory rather than this blanket covered whimper. I wonder, when she does interviews outside the house (if she does, are they contractually obligated beyond Julie's exit interview?), what narrative she'll try to spin. In other news, I saw that Austin was thinking of throwing a hinky vote Audrey's way to later pin on Steve. I was wondering if someone was going to do the hinky vote to keep up the paranoia of an America's Player and shock of all shocks, it's not Audrey! -

Didn't see the question answered and not the person who posted it but this picture has been floating around since yesterday-ish. It's supposed to be what the live show is probably going to look like when they wheel Audrey out for her Chenbot interview. Unless she's been up and moving today, that picture is looking more and more like it might actually happen. -

Jason just went to check on Audrey (she spoke and moved from her new spot on the floor behind all the dentist chairs) and came back into the kitchen to tell those assembled that she was still alive and kicking. It led to a conversation primarily between Meg, Austin, and Jason that during their DR sessions about the Audrey drama of the past few days, the questions they were asked and what was said led them to believe that it wasn't anything serious that was wrong with Audrey. I'm sure it could be the DR staff just trying to get some DR sessions making fun of her for it and then play it off as something serious on the show, like they're all assholes or something but I doubt it. Everyone has claimed that they were nice in their DR sessions about this, however. They did get called out by BB but continued to talk about it quickly. They keep questioning whether she's actually going to appear to be locked down in the HoH with everyone before the live show and whether she'll actually show up for the live show. I have to admit, I'm wondering the same things myself. Austin: "You can't use hospice as a strategy."
