  1. I always just assumed that he wore an ear piece and that fish was for production to chastise them. Your way makes more sense. I know they got warned not to push off from either the bowl or the barrel during one fish break, because Steve did it afterwards and was talking about how they had just told them not to.
  2. James confirmed that production tells him what to say sometimes after joking that Meg got her third cup full in her bowl. I think I knew that and just forget it from season to season. So I guess whatever James says could be more likely than the bad angles we get on the feeds, as to who is in the lead.
  3. Becky lived in Germany?! No way! I never would have known. She never mentions living in Germany on the feeds. Ever. At all. Julia took another fall, this one was pretty bad. Austin kinda fell when I was looking away, damn it.
  4. I finally figured out: Julia is in the darker blue tank top, Liz is in the bright blue. For anyone like me that has trouble telling the difference during comps. It's the only time Austin can't hang off of Liz, which is how I usually identify the twins. ETA: I think Becky, Jackie, Johnny Mac, and Steve are doing decently but these angles suck.
  5. Julia took a nice fall. Unfortunately, Shelli is quiet but she seems to be moving up and down the lane pretty good.
  6. It doesn't seem as slippery as normal. Johnny Mac seems to be hustling. Same as Becky and Jackie. Can't really see where anyone is yet, though.
  7. YES! I love this comp. I can't wait to see certain people fall on their asses. Like Austin. And maybe Shelli. It's okay, I know I'm mean. I embrace it rather than fight it.
  8. Honestly, Shelli, Clay isn't being sent off to his death. Can it with the cry-fest already. And what the hell was that about Clay saying Meg has showmances with almost everyone in the house?! That came out of left field. That's his defense for the bathroom moment? Because that's pretty weak, dude, and you're gonna have some explaining to do to Shelli when she gets booted out. Yay! My favourite endurance competition! And an interesting spin to the optional prize part of it. There's always an HG or two that I like to see fall on their asses. Jackie and Becky looked like they were hauling ass there in the beginning. I hope Austin falls. Many times. Hard.
  9. And if it were Jackie doing it, with her don't give a fuck attitude... it could take over this week as Best Week Ever this season. Especially if it was Shelli and Vanessa on the block together. OMG. I shouldn't dare hope for something that amazing.
  10. C'mon Jackie! I'd love to see Jackie put Vanessa up and watch the ensuing fireworks for the week.
  11. A random fact and a plea to BB: The longest endurance competition was "Pressure Cooker" in Big Brother 6, which lasted for 14 hours. We'd love to see another. Tonight if possible. I will stay up and watch the whole damned thing if it happens. I'm still not sold on teacups, because of the number of HGs competing. Not sure about the egg one. It can be made smaller since it will only be one person versus the double HoH version they did last season. We're onto Jeff highlights. Boo.
  12. Vanessa is attempting Vanessa and Clay, round 3. Ha! It really is. I'm afraid if I used the name, I would jinx it. Kinda like claiming my hockey team is going to win before the puck drops. It usually means we lose by four goals.
  13. It'll either be the egg comp, teacups, or... do we dare hope for The One?
  14. And now we have this lovely gem from the Big Brother official Twitter account: Sounds like it'll be some sort of endurance after all?
  15. Boom goes Johnny Mac's game in this house. He just told Steve that he wants to backdoor Vanessa. So long, Johnny Mac. RIP the Veto King.
  16. Vanessa is saying that Clay needs to go, and that this is some "master level manipulation shit" and that it's like Audrey-like. She also says that Johnny Mac is now her target. And while Vanessa freaks and cries in the bathroom while talking to James, Julia is just calmly vacuuming around them and occasionally looking over. ETA: Johnny Mac is pointing out to Shelli and Clay that Vanessa is good and that she's doing this "crying bullshit" that she does every time to manipulate people. Vanessa should have just kept her mouth shut today. I mean, I'm glad she didn't because Team Feeds Gold is the real winner this afternoon but for her game, she should have just kept quiet.
  17. Vanessa is back to thinking that Johnny Mac and Clay are related, it sounds like. LOL
  18. Vanessa and Clay, round 2 now beginning. Telling Shelli how she heard Clay go into the comic book/cheese room and discussing with Johnny Mac about voting to keep Clay but telling everyone that he is voting to keep Shelli. Vanessa is fired up. ETA: Oh, now she "thinks" she heard this. Oi.
  19. Clay is now admitting that the Vanessa is gunning for Johnny Mac/Vanessa being in Shelli's head did come from him. Vanessa thinks it's a ploy to keep him in the game. He keeps saying it's all made up. Poor Johnny Mac has no idea what to say now. Clay keeps trying to cover for him. Vanessa keeps getting squeakier and closer to tears. I have no fucking clue what's happening and I love it. I'm not a Clay fan, but his smirk during Vanessa's freak out is making me laugh so much. ETA: HA! As soon as the eyes were off of him, Johnny Mac stood up and silently walked away. That's probably his best bit of game play so far. Just let them fight it out and walk away... And as the room clears, Clay admits to Shelli that he was covering for Johnny Mac. Well, no shit, Sherlock. You could have made it less obvious.
  20. Holy crap, sudden last minute plot twist! This is awesome!
  21. Vanessa to Johnny Mac about Vanessa being in Shelli's head and Vanessa gunning for Johnny Mac: "Someone else put that in your head. You did not come up with that on your own." Johnny Mac: "I did." Vanessa: "No, you didn't." Wow. That's nice Vanessa. He's not capable of thinking for himself? Clay has some major attitude today. Vanessa's freaking out. The girls are in the HN room huddled close to the door to try and listen in. This was a surprising development.
  22. Ooh, Clay and James are getting into it again. James telling Clay to stop talking shit about James, and some "fuck off"s and some "get the fuck out of here"s and one "fucking coward". Heh. I want Clay to stay, because I love the sudden hate between these two. And Clay got right into his face and we went to fish. Clay seemed thisclose to throwing a punch.
  23. Shelli's going to be insufferable if she stays.
  24. Shock of all shocks: Meg is crying. She's gonna end up with an endorsement deal from Kleenex after this. Shelli is still harping on the "James is a bully" thing. I can't.
  25. Did they wear athletic gear for the egg/chicken wire comp? Especially since they specified running shoes and short sleeves/tank tops. It'll probably be a quick sprint to a puzzle and back to the button thing. Meg to Shelli: "You know I've always had ths 'brother thing' with Clay..." Yeah, drunk Meg looked like she was just chilling with her "brother" in the bathroom the other day.
