  1. At the end there is a 15 minute yak session with the producer about the set. How about cutting that instead the scenes from the episode PBS!
  2. Too bad the PBS station cut so many interesting scenes. Thank you for the full recap. Disagree with Christopher not figuring out his ex was manipulating his daughter & the usually savvy Trixie not realizing it. Good plot line with Magda, I thought we may see a scene a la Vera Drake
  3. No producers just have a big city bias...
  4. No maritimes! Hmm - oh well your loss Top Chef Canada...looking forward to seeing this again.
  5. John Morris - curler....looks a bit better when slightly unkempt
  6. My theory as a Canadian who still flabbergasted at how Chan threw away his chance at gold in 2014...he will be thrown a bone here but watch out in singles...he'll be lucky to finish 6th. I guess I'm in the minority - I like Tessa, Scott hmm...love Duhamel & Radford though. They manage to show passion despite her being married to someone else and him engaged to someone else...
  7. Yes I left it out, good point, I just felt ageism was at play here too. JMO...tastiness should always win.
  8. This what annoys me, they all seemed to like Tanya's dish more than Claudette. Because Tanya would not fall for their baiting and play to their "angry old woman" stereotype...she got eliminated. Claudette had a worse dish, acted like a brat but stayed as did the cowardly Chris- still don't buy the "afraid of the cat fighting" excuse for him not stepping in to help Claudette. However, older chefs are often poorly treated on this show.
  9. If I was Ken, I'd be suggesting I take full custody of Kensley, with Molly having visitation only without the calculating toy boy that is Luis.
  10. boo hiss, Sabrina was not the best baker...Vendana or Linda were way ahead. She got lucky more than a few times.
  11. JCP has a red top based on Kentaros collection in fluffy girl sizing...I am going to buy it...I'm in Canada but headed to Florida next week. Poor Brandon, I wish Tim had heavily criticized him last week...so he got the hint. The season long tongue bathing by the judges didn't help. Ayana should stick to couture...her dress was amazing. I love out there designs & loved Kentaro. He didn't come across as nasty...he had opinions on others but was usually proved right.
  12. When I was 16, I thought it was cool that a 28 yo man was interested in me, puzzled that my Dad was angry with the guy...I hope Olivia tells her grandpa what's going on...I think he'll straighten out Luis
  13. I think Vendana should have been star baker, her fondant fancies were perfect while Linda's were not...yet Linda wins? I am enjoying the show though
  14. From the preview, it looks like shoving Jen in a sled & pushing her down a hill covered in snow.
  15. The Kraken sculpture was innovative, but I guess the baker didn't do as well in the other challenges as Sabrina which why her empty looking bread basket.
  16. Hmmm, most of those cakes in the showstopper didn't look very impressive. I'll keep watching for now, poor Pierre first out. Thought the lady who had black hair and a sour look should have gone first.
  17. Just in time for Ragini to declare that her biological clock has wound down and she can then marry a guy who's divorced with grown kids who'd just as soon have no more kids and loves that his trophy wife is so involved in work so he can spend more time on the golf course. Seems like she should have gone this route from the start. Hey it works for my hubby
