  1. Normally I would say no, but we live in a real world where "Grab 'em by the -----" meant nothing to voters, so... *shrug* Yeah, I didn't get that either. Jonah's a sinking ship - why jump to work for him?
  2. Well, we know all that, Arya didn't. Anyway, I was just trying to think of what Sansa's done (in Ayra's eyes) that would make her call her "the smartest person I know".
  3. It's either pieces of the Death Star on Yavin IV or the 2nd Death Star on Endor. I'm guessing the later, since Palpatine's spirit could easily be bound to that one, seeing as he died there.
  4. This was good but I feel like half the episode was people saying goodbye to each other . Also why was Enterprise the only ship helping out and not the rest of Starfleet.
  5. Yes, in particular in the Nephew Pageant skit. The no-beard, non-curly haired Kit is a stranger to me.
  6. I keep having to remind myself it’s Kit; it’s so weird to see him without a beard. Wonder what he had to shave it for since in the promos, title cards and GOT fake commercial he still had it.
  7. Totally. Some of my closest friends are exes. You can come to love someone but also realize you aren't in love with each other and never will be. Life's like that.
  8. I liked parts of the second book, especially
  9. Liam is very bright; he should petition for emancipation as soon as he can and take of himself.
  10. Hopefully its renewed since the shenanigans at Project NOAH
  11. Yay Spider Man! (And its surreal to see someone you went to college with (one of the Spider Man producers) getting up to accept an Academy Award!)
  12. Methinks Jonathan Kraft will be running the show now.
  13. It's a joke; both times I've watched it, it pauses at 69% before playing.
  14. I'm sure they understood they weren't really the underdog for the SB; the whole "no one believed we could do it" mantra was more for the season at large when folks weren't really expecting much of them - I know I wasn't. I really didn't think they'd get by that AFC game.
  15. That throng was utterly ridiculous. There should be some kind of buffer for the players/coaches to congratulate each other and let the hosting network reporter get their questions in before the mob descends. I was glad to hear Brady repeatedly tell them to back off.
  16. Let’s just hope the Pats play more exciting football in SB LIV.
  17. In the first loop, Nadia was in an active position to save Alan if she had helped him when he was drunk; Alan was in a passive position to save her just by being someone to occupy her time and not be out getting hit by the car. (Had he been sober I’m not sure how he would have crossed her path.) But that’s just the physical way; they also both saved each other existentially within the loops. I took the final scene as the two separate timelines merged with the Loop versions meeting up again. The fact it was in the middle of some random midnight parade was a little strange. (Also, the homeless guy’s timeline made no sense to me if I tried to follow it. For a long time I thought there was more to him than met the eye.) Nadia’s four loops that ended with her falling down the stairs trying to leave the party made me laugh; did we ever find out what happened to poor Alan in those loops? He couldn’t have gotten very far. This also reminded me of Happy Death Day, which is a good thing as I really like that movie. Loved the series though; not sure what a season 2 would entail, but I would like to see more.
  18. I think he said once this “red energy” mission was over.
  19. I guess that’s one way to set up the Section 31 spin off.
  20. That's always been my one beef with Mark and his job offer at Buzzline; getting a job like that does not have to mean you're selling out. You use the money from that job to finance whatever artistic projects you want to do, Or more pragmatically, when you have two close friends with likely terminal diseases who may need your help.
  21. I am still dumbfounded there are no understudies. What would have happened if he broke his foot just before dress rehearsal started? Overall, I enjoyed this. I really did not like Valentina in the performance of Angel. I also wasn't a fan of the performance of Mimi; too many pitch issues. I really liked Jordan's portrayal of Mark. Especially some of the dance moves he threw in. I think the main problems with the dress rehearsal that might have been corrected for live was toning down the audience's screaming at key points and fixing the sound problems that caused the singers to be drowned out. Really, the only song it would have been completely acceptable for that level of audience participation is "Over the Moon" because the audience gets involved then in the stage production.
  22. Oh I agree, but I seem to recall a few TNG episodes that dealt with this very matter where they couldn't get involved in preventing a natural disaster. Although then there was Star Trek: Into Darkness where they were trying to save a pre-warp planet without being noticed - so who knows.
