Generally, 9 year old boys are not invested in catty woman drama. Unless Emily went on a particularly harsh rant about Heather involving "bad words", burping, farting and possibly leftover food that was spared or picked up off the floor after the fight, they probably don't care -and even then might not know her name -"the lady from the fight with the chocolate cake" Emily doesn't involve her kids on the show like they're cast members (Annabelle's audition episode aside) like some HWs I call shenanigans

Katie has been coming hard for Heather since the season started. I would not be surprised if she asked her daughter to dig for dirt or to ask Emily's boys a loaded question "Isn't Heather mean? Don't you/does your mommy think Heather is mean? I am not a Heather fan, but I don't trust Katie

I was wondering that too. If she is divorced or had children out of wedlock, how is she able to remain in good standing with the church* when it sounded like Heather and Whitney were more or less shunned? Other than her relationship with the Osmond, which she talks about incessantly, she hasn't really shared anything about herself *I assume she's in good standing with the church since she was allowed to host and lead the meeting, and people actually showed up - unless that was her father's influence (he was the official host?), and the attendees were there because they wanted to be on tv.

When Angie accused Heather of holding her to a different standard, Heather said she hadn't considered that viewpoint and she would need to reflect on it. As messy as Heather is, I thought that was a brilliant way to de-escalate the confrontation (Is Heather in therapy?). it seems Angie is trying to stay relevant by fighting withe everyone -except Mary, who she has somehow bonded with.
