Do we know what kind of work Grumpy Cat Todd does? If whatever he does requires government security clearance, it may be common practice to run background checks on partners. He did say it was an NSA background check. And, frankly, if I new someone in the NSA that could run background checks I'd probably check out a potential future spouse, and possibly a few other people. I wonder why he didn't just stay home. He obviously wants nothing to do with the ridiculousness that is the RHWs*. I think they are used interchangeably. I say this because i was trying to figure out under what circumstances I've heard one or the other pronunciation, and concluded they both sounded appropriate in each case(to me). For roads it's usually "root" though I have heard "rout" as well. 🤷‍♀️ Maybe it's another regional dialect thing

Kyle is very good at playing the 1970s stereotype of the clueless wealthy housewife: She has no idea how to do anything- she has people for that- she throws her head back in laughter, always drives a different expensive car, and flits around town shopping in her designer labels. The only thing missing is the martini or wine glass, but since Kyle doesn't drink anymore, it would be replaced with an edible.

Which makes me wonder what Shannon's childhood was like that she keeps choosing to be around toxic people like David, Johnny J, Vicki and Tamra. Is she that desperate for friendship? What happened to all the charities she allegedly creates? Where are the people she socialized with before joining the show? I get not wanting to be alone, and to have someone to do stuff with and share your day with, but have some standards!

One minute they are throwing accusations across the table and Todd looks like he's about to shut the whole thing down, then Angie brings out the stupid, lame, not suitable for the dinner table Newlywed Game, and suddenly they're all laughing and having a great time? Even Todd? I found it strange
