  1. Omg Echo as a droid was hands down my favorite part. He’s definitely worth more then 2000 credits. I hope we see that again. I also liked Echo helping fix the doll-very Dad of him. I don’t know what to make of Wrecker’s lack of fight with Shand. I don’t know if we’re supposed to be concerned by all the head impacts he gets or if that’s just Wrecker being Wrecker. I figured Shand would come out on top in a fight with him, just not so fast. I also think its funny that they think Wrecker is going to call attention out in public when Hunter has a skull tattooed on his face-he’s probably the most recognizable out of all of them. Loved the chase scene, very Star Wars. I liked that Omega screwed up trusting Shand but still was able to have some fast thinking moments helping with her own rescue. The animation is wild. The fruit exploding. Hunter stopping the bike and throwing the bomb? All of the background scenes and details? Incredible. Missed Crosshair this week. I’m guessing he’s the one that hired Shand. The Kaminoans just seem really obvious to hire her. Plus, Nala Se helped her escape. Did things change enough with Tarkin that they want her back? Or did Crosshair send out Shand in an attempt to get his brothers back? Shand could have easily killed Omega, Hunter and Wrecker but she didn’t. I bet she’s under orders from Crosshair to get Omega and not kill the Batch. I also know this is just a show, but it is going to really get under my skin if the Dad Batch doesn’t start teaching Omega some things. It can just be as simple as actually telling her things like “Stick close Omega, we don’t want to draw attention.” Or giving the girl a comms to call for help.
  2. Oh nooo Crosshair. Killing civilians? If they’re able to reverse the chip in his head, I can’t imagine the fallout of him realizing what he’s done while being used by the Empire. The Batch Bros will most likely forgive him, but will he forgive himself? Speaking of chips, I was really nervous when Wrecker smacked his head that his inhibitor chip was going to rear its ugly brainwashing. Thankfully it was just a plot point for him to not go dragon hunting and for him to build the room. We’ll see if he gets triggered. Honestly, second to Crosshair, Wrecker makes me nervous if his chip starts functioning. Brute strength? He’ll be a bear to take down. I don’t know if we’ll see Ahsoka on this show, but if we do, I hope she talks to the Batch about actually teaching Omega how to defend herself. I’m sure its probably coming but if the Jedi and the Kaminoans can train children, so can they. When the Kaminoans were talking about just needing one-made me wonder who the one is. I don’t think they help with the Palpatine clones or are messing with Force sensitivity. I wonder if they want Hunter. He’s the leader of the Bad Batch and probably the most even-headed out of all of them. And even though his skills are tracking, he’s still a good soldier. I wonder if we see a rescue of Crosshair and a capture in the same episode-or even a trade.
  3. I am too because I realized on a rewatch that Tarkin probably doesn’t realize when Nala Se says there is only five enhanced Clones she’s not talking about Echo but Omega. She was specifically vague when answering his questions about the Bad Batch. And then Nala Se helps get Omega off Kamino by keeping the doors open. I definitely hope we see more of the long game that the Kaminoans are playing.
  4. I really did not like the Bad Batch when they appeared in Clone Wars. Now, with time, I like them a lot better. Loved seeing the aftermath of Order 66. I’ve rewatching Clone Wars, so every time Crosshairs said “Good soldiers follow orders,” I knew where the story was heading. Wonder what Omega’s enhancement is. I thought maybe she picked up on other abilities or emotions. We saw her brash and picked a fight like Wrecker. Shoot like Crosshair. She heard the clones and Crosshair walk up to the hanger like Hunter. Her convo with Crosshair was weird too-she knows about the chips but didn’t warn anyone. Edit to say: Wonder if the girl child with Saw was Jyn Erso. Order 66 always makes me sad for what could have been-would have loved to see Caleb with the Bad Batch. I was not expecting to see Caleb Dume and Depa Billaba to open this show. That wrecked me. Hearing Billaba actually screaming for him to run and then silenced was haunting. Also explains why
  5. Well, technically they could be-have we seen all their last names? Honestly, I thought Sophie was going to be a Banks. Best player? Moving from a different team? She might not be a Banks but she has that ‘role’ from the movies (but where the team wants her). We could have a situation where the kid has a remarried last name on the back of their jersey too and their parent is a Duck. Or their mom is one of Ducks and she took her husbands last name. I read an article where they were talking about the original Ducks and it said Bombay is still my favorite and of course he gave a kid money for tape which gets him barred from college sports. He just can’t catch a break. I loved him and Alex together. I’m a sucker for the Ducks music and every time it plays it just makes my heart clench up. They’re going to get me all season with the Ducks riff.
  6. I understood this reference. Adding to this, Bucky went the route of rescuing the hostage instead of taking down the trucks. With that speed? He could have caused a crash with the two trucks. Instead, he went the route of rescue. I wonder if at the end of the show, Isaiah will be includes in the Smithsonian exhibit bc Sam knows of his existence. If Sam ends up with the mantel, I think he’ll try to right that wrong. I almost thought he was going to go back to the house after Bucky got arrested. Overall, I love Bucky and Sam together. Six episodes is not going to be enough. Do you think Bucky has a closet of leather jackets with one or two sleeves? He ripped off his sleeve but later saw him with a coat with two sleeves. Man’s got coats 😂
  7. Athena and Bobby should just adopt Buck already, and Maddie too. Athena with Bobby talking to Buck at the ambulance balm for all the horribleness with the Buckley parents. And then Eddie gently ribbing him when he got his clean bill of health. Gah. I totally hated sex in the engine, show off Buck at the start of this show. Talk about character growth, I like when shows are able to actual show characters changing and growing. Makes you wonder how long they had been building Bucks Beginning for. I watch both 911 shows back-to-back and it was interesting to watch how Chim reacted to being the messenger in the middle versus the other 911 show with Judd being in the middle. I figure the shows’ writers don’t chat unless its crossovers but its interesting two characters had a similar issue of knowing something that affected a love one greatly-like world changing big.
  8. Wow, the actor playing Judd really made me feel how uncomfortable and sick to his stomach he was over the whole situation with Grace’s father. I loved their whole storyline. I really love Grace and Judd. I hope they keep getting storylines together. Not that every couple needs kids, but after seeing Grace at dinner with the twins, I wonder if they couldn’t get pregnant. Or they were trying when the fire department was wiped out at the beginning of this show. I guess I’m the only one who likes the baby storyline. I can’t imagine it actually going to term but I like they both want the baby and both are looking forward to rebuilding their family together. I think its sweet.
  9. Loved 50 Shades of Grace. She is so cool under fire. I hope we see an episode some day where she’s not answering calls but is caught out in an emergency and we get to see her wow the firefighters. Judd would totally “That’s my gal” her too. I really loved Marjan’s story too. I really like the juxtapose of the ‘Fire Fox’ who is strongly entrenched in her religious beliefs. And I really liked in the end that she walked back her romantic gesture when she also realized she wanted something different. I’m not religious, more spiritual but the beats of belief in this show is really interesting. I like that its not faith pushed but humans discussing what they believe and what they’re willing to do with those beliefs.
  10. Wow. Zombie Vision. Visionbie? I was not expecting that. He kinda knows something is up. I had always assumed the colors were because Wanda was becoming more ‘aware.’ A Pleasantview situation. It makes sense that the citizens of Westview are becoming aware, but its curious that Vision is too. I love Captain Marvel, so I love that Lt Trouble is right in this mix. I dislike again that its told that a woman built something substantial but don’t get to see it happening. Obviously I know not this show but it bums me out that we’ll never get to see Carter building SHIELD or Maria building SWORD (maybe we’ll get lucky with the Captain Marvel sequel). I want to see women doing things, not just told about it and expected to be in awe of it. I’m interested in the censoring. And the show’s blips. I’m also now shipping Woo and Darcy. I really liked their dynamic. I wonder how the shows will be from here on out-all Wanda and Vision? Cuts back and forth?
  11. Wow. Wow. Naomi is a serious badass. I had no idea what she was doing until the credits. Her figuring out how to alter the message to send another message to try to get Alex to stop-damn. She sold being in pain so much, I actually had to look away from the TV. Naomi’s scenes were so suspenseful I was mad they would cut away from her story. Much love to my other favorite badass, Drummer. So much weight on Drummer. First Ashford. Then Fred. Now ‘Naomi’-All because of how she voted before to spare Marco’s life. Her seething guilt and rage were palpable. I hope her family comes together to be the ultimate wrecking ball of Marco’s plan. Its interesting that Karal picked up the message and looked torn about it being altered. I wonder if she’s going to tell Marco. We could have a dog fight next episode between the two groups when people realize Naomi is alive. I really need the team back together. I really like this season but my favorite parts are the Roci family together (Especially with Bobbi and Drummer interactions). Maybe next episode? Amos is so far away from all of this, it bums me out that he’s out of action so we can see the destruction of Earth and be connected to Luna.
  12. Oh Amos. “I need to get back to my crew” killed me. He was doing really well with Peaches. Getting her shoes, recognizing the dangers of when civilization doesn’t have to be civil anymore were such good choices. Him bringing up Holden and saying Holden wouldn’t have even entertained that idea while realizing what he did-wow. Drummer’s silent rage was a lot to see. I definitely think she put together that Naomi was on the ship. Wonder how long we have to wait to see her contact Holden. I think Drummer can rally Belters. I wonder if she can broker peace with Avasarala through Holden. Avasarala knows this is Marcos. Speaking of, Avasarala gathering herself up was great. I’m glad her daughter was alive and on their way to Luna. Between her and Drummer, I don’t know who I’d rather see on the warpath. Bobbi holding the ships together was my favorite part of her and Alex’s scenes. She is such a boss. What was the point of Holden’s scene? I wish we were seeing him still trying to get a hold of the team.
  13. Another great episode. Geez I love scifi shows. Holden in the elevator trying to get a hold of Naomi was great. I hate the disconnect of our team. Kinda wish we had seen Holden try to get a hold of Amos and Alex, especially after last season with the growth between Holden and Amos. I like when shows show things instead of tell things. I definitely got that Holden was in panic mode. Loved Amos’ story. Love this idea of after how many seasons/years of using members of the Roci as his moral compass, Amos is finally following his own moral compass. Can’t wait for him yo get off of Earth, I haven’t read the books but have seen my fair share of disaster movies. I’m assuming shit is going to get way worse on Earth. I have slight panic watching Amos’ story. Get my boy into Space on the Roci where he belongs. Can’t wait for Naomi to get off of Marcos’ ship. I like that she realized the Roci was rigged to blow. If Holden is a hero, I’m sure others of the Roci are well known. Marcos would try to take out others who could stop his plan. I hope this story starts bringing everyone together soon.
  14. When I watched Season One (and I haven’t read the books) I just knew at some point someone was going to weaponize space rocks or junk as weapons because of that scene with Chrisjen and her Grandson. I love that its something that took more then one season to come true. This episode was WILD. I cannot WAIT until the next one drops. Mainly because I hope we get another episode closer to all the main players being in each other’s orbit again. The Roci and friends when they’re together is my favorite flavor of Expanse. I like that we set up this season’s drama, let’s get everyone together. I need Drummer back in the mix ASAP. I hope she is literally hell on wheels when she hears about everything. I know Holden and the Roci are our heroes but I need Drummer just mixing it up like crazy this season. Her and Holden going after Marcos because of everything?! Yes please!
  15. Well, back when we first saw Bo Katan on this show, I figured this season would get back the Darksabre and then next logical step would be to help take back Mandalore. I’m assuming that’s where we’re going next, especially in order to further Din’s story. I wonder if we’ll see any of Grogu’s training with Luke too. I feel like he’s the second main character so we should but who knows.
  16. Was that the first time we’ve seen an all women team take a cruiser on their own?? Because I was geeking out. Loved the Ladies Squad. The scene on the bridge where Bo and Koska jumped off and then took out the storm troopers? Perfect. Din versus the Dark Trooper was worrisome enough even know you knew he was going to get to Grogu. Yikes that was intense. I wonder how even two people would have done against it. Loved the Darksabre versus the Beskar. Totally get why Mandos and Jedi had such issues with each other. It’s interesting that nothing can get through Beskar. I call foul on the passing of the Darksabre by the way. Bo Katan HAS taken it before without a fight from Sabin Wren. I mean if we’re going to talk about it being passed without an earned battle right, its technically still Maul’s. And if its passed because Maul died, then it belongs to Sabine Wren. So that irks. I can’t imagine Din the leader of the Mandalorians. Wish we would have seen Din first get Grogu out of the cell. I’m surprised they skipped it. More moments between them before he leaves with Luke. Speaking of...Luke! I really thought it was going to be Erza or Cal. Disappointed they didn’t use Sebastian Stan. I’m not a fan of the deep fakes, they’re so flat. I also believe this isn’t the end of Grogu, but I do believe its going to be awhile before we see him again. The ending was...okay. This whole episode was okay. I really thought we were going to get the Empire Strike back, everything and everyone we know in peril. Even though the sequences were cool, it was almost too easy? Gideon was quite the disappointment. But leaving him alive-probably a huge mistake.
  17. Lol, no. I follow a bunch of Star Wars fans on Twitter and most of them stay up to watch it. I normally get up at 6 on Fridays to watch before work 😂
  18. Apparently the director is Peyton Reed again. Bummer, I was kinda hoping for a surprise director, not a repeat. No word on how long it is either yet. Man, I can’t wait for tomorrow. I’m trying so hard not to get hyped up.
  19. I think it’s going to be an Empire Strikes Back kind of an ending. They know they have another season, I think we’ll be ending on a massive cliffhanger. I think we’re going to see a convergence of stories. We saw a bunch of threads that are going to come together. We’re going to see Mando’s band of Star Wars, Cara, Greef, Cobb, Fett and Fennec come together and attack Gideon‘s ship. Maybe we’ll see a diversion with someone else in Mando’s gear but definitely a multi-tiered attack. I think we’ll see Bo Katan and a bunch of Mandos, but more of a happy accident she’s there. She found Gideon as well and is there for the Darksabre. She teams up with Din with the promise of her getting the Darksabre. Everyone splits up. The Dark Troopers are going to be a force to reckon with, and they best a lot of the group. Prisoners, maybe even a death. Ahsoka shows up at the 11th hour. Maybe so do some rangers (maybe even a Ghost sighting). Din and Bo Katan are somehow bested by Gideon and trade Din and Ahsoka for Grogu. Part of the Team escapes thanks to the cover by the Rangers and other Mandos, and they have Grogu. We end the season with Din and Ahsoka being thrown into different cells. Din ends up in a cell with another person, sans his Beskar. The other person is another captured Jedi. Maybe an end scene with Thrawn boarding the ship. I have a pet theory that Din is Force sensitive, a child of Jedha, possibly even a Guardian of the Whills, before the Empire took over. I think that maybe why another reason Ahsoka doesn’t take on Grogu is because Grogu has already found someone to train him-Din. Kinda a Kanan/Ezra relationship. I like the idea that Jon and Filoni are incorporating ideas of Star Wars that never made it into the movies. Guardians of the Whills is one of them. So to up the ante, Din shows he’s just as valuable as Ahsoka or Grogu for Gideon to willingly give up. Adults can provide more blood then a toddler. Either way, I think we’re in for a big fight and an even bigger cliffhanger. They haven’t even released how long the episode is or who the director is-normally we know by now. I think its going to be big name director-rumors are flying that the director is
  20. Wow. I was not looking forward to a prison break, but I loved this episode. I’m glad it was really easy to get Mayfield. Kinda bummed, thought we were going to see someone in prison that would have been also fun to spring out-like the Armorer. I got kinda nervous about the pirates blowing up the transports at first bc I first thought they were villagers trying to take back their planet. But in the end, I guess they were just pirates? Loved seeing Rhydonium. I’ll take that as a mini shoutout to Sabine Wren. When Din took off his mask I squealed so loud. If he’s willing to step away from his beliefs for Grogu....damn, that was awesome. Glad Mayfield didn’t make a huge deal out of it either, and looked away when giving Din a helmet to put back on. That little bit was my favorite of this whole episode. Still bummed that Gina ruined me liking Cara because seeing two women together, sharpshooting to protect the getaway would have been awesome. Oh well. Still love Fennec. Loved Din’s threat at the end...and for a moment of badassery, I’m kinda shocked he gave away the element of surprise. Gideon might have thought Din wouldn’t chase him-he didn’t even fly (we know why) after the Dark Troopers last time they saw each other. Gideon might have been on the fence or doubting Din would chase after Grogu. Din might have had a slight element of surprise.
  21. I agree-I don’t think Mando looked like a chump. I think Mando looked like a panicked parent and didn’t think clearly because of it. I really thought Mando was going to get just thrashed by the Dark Droids but apparently it was just the Force that kicked his butt during this episode. I think the Force choke was a quickly learned behavior from his dark years after Order 66. The neck seems to be the most vulnerable spot and Grogu would have to learn quick due to his size how to go for a spot that could cause serious consequences.
  22. Wow. I really wasn’t expecting Boba or Fennec to show up in this episode. I really thought if we got to Tython that we would be seeing Force Ghosts, or a Jedi. I do like that this is part of his squad to get Grogu. Boba’s fight was really impressive. I don’t know how I feel about being completely shut out of Grogu’s perspective. First last week with Ahsoka and now this week with the stone. It’s kinda a shame that this episode couldn’t be a smidge longer to see what Grogu was going through. If only Mando had some way of moving fast and could control using his wrist comms. I can’t BELIEVE he didn’t pick up his jetpack. Or call it to him. I get him trying to get through to Grogu, even multiple times. Gotta get his son. Makes me positive now that he’s keeping the kid even if a Jedi shows up. You know, the first person I would recruit to help me find my child would not have been the criminal I put behind bars. So next week is going to be another prison break and then on to Gideon? Not what I was expecting. Also, I’m curious at the choice to not have Mando verbally react to Grogu being droid-napped. Nothing. Not even a Star Wars curse? I just expected something since we can’t see his face....
  23. I wanted to see the reverse-Sabine seeing Din’s plain armor and/or stealing a piece of it to paint it.
  24. This was a super rough season. I am not a fan of what they did to all the characters at all. Preacher’s storyline was interesting, but I was really looking forward to him and Paige. Her leaving was a real bummer. And she didn’t tell Preacher “oh hey, my abusing husband as an identical corrupt brother??” What the hell Paige?? I didn’t actually mind Jack’s plotlines of the PTSD and his responsibilities boiling over. He literally was drowning in front of all his friends and no one really noticed or told him enough was enough. Mel started to, but woof Charmaine was just the wrecking ball that did not stop. What happened to Mel’s sister? Did she even call once this season? And the sister-in-law was just as terrible. Could they not come up with something for Mel to do? Like I don’t know, make more friends in town? Notice that Paige was MIA? I’m curious if Brady’s going to get himself out of this hole he’s in. The actor plays conflicted really well. I was really looking forward to this, but what a train-wreck. Also thought we were going to get a Covid storyline at the end of the season with everyone sick and no idea why. This town would be in a lot of trouble if that happened. I don’t want Covid in all my TV shows, but for a minute, I thought they were going to go there.
  25. I am actually surprised they’re showing zero flashbacks or giving more information to viewers who have not watched the animated shows. It reminds me of what the show-runner for Leverage, a heist show, used to talk about how they had to do flashbacks otherwise viewers would miss the heist completely. I’m guessing they want to run a lean show with only showing what they want to show. Technically you both have the viewpoint of Din as you’re watching. I watched the show again and I really love the wordless scenes between Ahsoka and Grogu. I wonder how well he can talk and if we’ll hear him speak more to Din now that he’s talked with Ahsoka. Or if he’ll try to reach out to Din using the Force. Also, I might low key be shipping Ahsoka and Din. That second time through, whew, it got warm watching Ahsoka get so close to Din repeatedly. I know some people are hoping Din never takes off his helmet, but I really wish we could see his face reactions sometimes.
