I like that Deke’s theory of time travel is not as dark as his grandfather’s. I still hope we meet Triplett’s grandfather during all this time travel. I can’t wait for this final season. I hate time travel stories, but I think seeing Coulson geek out over everything really might tide me over. And the hope of seeing Carter setting up Shield...

I used to really hate the prequels. I always thought Anakin was whiny and dramatic-not the Anakin who was the best friend to Ben Kenobi. I was also pretty young when they came out and OT Star Wars were my favorite movies. Now, as a thirty-somthing, Anakin and the Jedi makes me so sad in the prequels. The Clone Wars show is what I wish the Prequels had been-Anakin and Kenobi off causing all sorts of trouble saving the galaxy together. More show than the telling they did in Revenge. But Anakin’s struggles with attachments, the genocide of the Jedi, the fall of the Clones really makes me sad now. The “what could have beens,” the loss lives, and what the Skywalkers could have been break my heart. However, I really hate Padme’s story in Revenge. I know the story was Anakin’s, but what a missed opportunity. Instead of her locked away in her apartment, we could have started to see her build a rebellion, see more of her reacting to Anakin’s change of character, hiding her pregnancy or starting to piece together Palpatine’s betrayal. I know, deleted scenes but with females already so incredibly sparse in Star Wars, it would have been nice. I also hate her dying of a broken heart. Ugh.

I realized it when he showed up in a video with the Hamilton cast a couple weeks ago. I love it, it was so unexpected. This show is definitely turning everything on its head this end of the season. I’m not a fan of undoing Pruitt’s legacy with Andy so suspicious that he’s a bad guy. I actually feel really bad for the Probie. I liked seeing everyone teach, so I hope they pick up another one. I think it changed the dynamic of the group having to look out and teach a firefighter who hasn’t been in the house as long as the rest of them.

I just watched it again, and this time I noticed at the end that the first droid that took a blaster hit for Ahsoka is by their ship, it looks like it resting in pieces standing up right. Rex is stops right by it. They must have found it in the wreckage and are going to see if they can fix it. Watching it a second time, its still such a tense and sad ending.

I think the helmet helped too-it was an Ahsoka painted helmet. He would have known. What’s bonkers to me is the storm troopers with Vader had to have been clones right? I havent read a lot of Star Wars books or comics, so I don’t know if its been explained there, but do the Clones ever regain their true selves again? Or did they need to be de-chipped? It makes you wonder if any of those storm troopers knew what they were standing on, what had happened there. I want Filoni writing and directing. I just watched the Mandalorian behind the scenes episode and Filoni is the best kind of Star Wars geek. They would be fools to not recognize how impactful he’s been.

Oh I’m ready. I can’t wait to watch it multiple times. Rex and Ahsoka forever!

He’s just a clone to them. I’m just surprised because a Jedi was murdered. It was like they just went “Oh well, the clone who killed her is dead. Case closed.” I’m not surprised on the other hand. In Revenge, Anakin wants to go help the Clones flying behind him and Obi Wan and Obi Wan dismisses it and says “Let them do their jobs so we can do ours” and then the Clone died. They were really ever friendly with their commanders. We literally have seen all the scenes in the trailer now. We literally have no idea what’s going to happen on May 4th.

I really thought we were going to see other Jedi fall in the order(like Caleb Dume) but honestly I’m glad we stuck with Ahsoka and Rex. Ashoka sensing Anakin’s fall when Obi Wan did not was heart shattering. Rex fighting the order and having tears in his eyes was everything. Ahsoka directing the blasts upwards so she could escape was brilliant. I was wrong about the team up between Maul and Ahsoka. I guess we’re seeing begrudging respect from Maul for Ahsoka setting free but also using him as a distraction. Mace’s ‘citizen’ comment was rude. Once again, if only Ahsoka said something to someone about Maul’s prediction...

I’m already feeling shattered...

I think Ahsoka’s fight is the night before Anakin goes Vader. Apparently Revenge of the Sith takes nine days. If Dooku is Day One, Kenobi is told to go after Grievous on Day Three. Someone on Twitter has the days all plotted out according to what happens to Kenobi with pictures. He told Ahsoka that he was told to go after Grievous and Anakin was spying on Palpatine-which makes what’s happening to Ahsoka on the night of Day Three. Anakin going Vader and Order 66 is Day Four. However, if you think Palpatine is the Phantom Menace from Episode I, then I would argue the Apprentice is Anakin. But that’s what I love about Star Wars-so many fun theories! Although, Maul does seem to chase a lot of young Jedi to team up with. Ahsoka and Erza. I do wonder if there’s still a team-up between Ahsoka and Maul coming, maybe escaping from the Clones during Order 66? You would think at how chill Ahsoka was for seeing Maul in Rebels, and how laid back Maul was to seeing her (“Lady Tano”) makes you think maybe they come to some sort of agreement. Maybe he helps her get Rex out safely. I would DIE if we see the three of them do the Sword and Shield maneuver like Rex does with Ezra and Kanan in Rebels.

Yeah. I know Ahsoka talks to Vader and reaches Anakin for like a heartbeat in Rebels-I was just wondering in the scope of this show if Ahsoka ever talks to Anakin again, but I don’t think so. I love Filoni and his parallels. Kenobi battles Maul after losing his mentor-still wins basically lightsaberless. Ahsoka battles Maul wins lightsaberless but doesn’t know she’s about to lose her mentor. It also blows my mind that the thread where Mace goes to arrest Palpatine to where Anakin agrees to be his apprentice is the same length of time as Ahsoka and Maul’s fight and her refusal to join Maul. It’s all over Twitter. I do think this is the nigh before Anakin falls to the darkside, I think Order 66 is still the next night in Ahsoka’s timeline. Anakin is definitely the Phantom Apprentice. He was such the haunting ghost in this episode. He was brought up so many times for not actually being physically in the episode. I thought for a moment Ahsoka was because she left The Order but still acting like a Jedi. She debated joining Maul. It could have been her-but I think it was supposed to be Anakin.

This episode definitely upped the ante for what-if situations. I would think that every time Palpatine or Anakin were in danger during this series. If they had died, what would have happened? What if Kenobi had shown up? Would he have been persuaded? What if Ahsoka warns him? So many what-ifs. This episode probably spawned hundreds of AU Fanfictions alone. It kinda bums me out that Ahsoka probably never talks to Anakin again. I wonder if she or Rex talks one last time to Obi Wan...

Wow. That lightsaber fight was amazing. The glass shattering, Ahsoka thinking about the offer, the Maul sizes hole in the wall and the fight in the roof trellis was just perfect. I loved that Maul compared Ahsoka to Obi Wan at one point, she really is the product of both Anakin and Obi Wan. After last week’s episode, I rewatched Ahsoka’s trial. I don’t remember Obi Wan ever speaking up for Ahsoka. The tension between them is understandable-who wouldn’t feel betrayed by that. Their conversation was tense, and sad. Unless we see it, we can assume Obi Wan doesn’t talk to Anakin again until he’s turned. Which means he never passes along anything from Ahsoka. I can’t wait for the last two episodes. Have we seen almost everything from the trailers? I think we might have seen most from the trailers. Dooku is dead so we’re definitely seeing Order 66. Maul has to escape at some point. We haven’t seen Ahsoka standing the room with (assumedly) Rex on the floor. I hope at some point we see Rex and Ahsoka fight together. I just love whenever they’re together. This is all so nerve-wracking. I do hope once these episodes are done they make them into one movie you can watch without interruption.

Ahsoka Tano. Damn. She was literally on fire. My heart was pounding the whole time. Anytime Rex and Ahsoka were together made my heart sing. He was smiling and laughing with her. First, I hope these last four episodes are all 30 minutes and then they make it a movie so the series starts and ends with a movie. The music hits were call back to the films. You have the same music when Luke was with Jabba and when Anakin was trying to get the tactical droid out in the open. We also got the same music when Ahsoka jumps out of the ship to beat Rex to the surface as the opening of Revenge of the Sith. And FINALLY Ahsoka’s lightsabers made an appearance. I’m glad they waited. I had just assumed she left with them but the end of the trial and her leaving happened so quickly, I guess she never got them back. I love that Anakin had them. I’m bummed Obi Wan wasn’t more warm to Ahsoka. I get the awkwardness between all three of them, but I was hoping he was going to be happier. I’m assuming that’s the last time Ahsoka sees Anakin. Doesn’t she say something like “The last time I saw him, he was running off to save the chancellor?” I hope she and Obi Wan see each other again but I think that might have been it for all four of them (including Rex)-at least in person. We might get a hologram...if we’re lucky.

Mandos! Bo Katan and Ursa Wren...is that you I spy?? The Jedi they were talking about was Luminara right? I’m fuzzy on the hostage situation-is that when the senators were taking hostage? I’m not surprised at the sisters’ disillusion with the Jedi. I know Jedi are more “big picture” but it really shows how out of touch some Jedi were with every day people. And it really highlighted the collateral damage by fights. Very much Tony Stark and Scarlett Witch/Quicksilver vibes. Makes me appreciate Kanan’s Jedi training of Erza-seemed to be more well rounded then what the Jedi got from the council. I thought we were going to get a Jedi reveal at the end. I’m been trying to watch for Ahsoka’s lightsabers. She has something on her hip, and it reminds me of Kanan’s lightersaber where its not whole so its concealed in pieces but it doesn’t look like two lightsabers. I get why Ahsoka is hiding her past, but man, I thought she could have really brought the thunder. She could have unlocked a lot of those cells as they were running for more of a distraction. She could have definitely used a cloak when they were trying to figure out what to do after escaping. I did like what she did do with the Force but like I said last week, I want Ahsoka to let loose.

I’m sorry, was there other things on the show besides Chim without a shirt on? Damn. He is one of my favorite characters and I was not expecting a shirtless scene from him. Buck? Yes. Eddie? Maybe. Chim? So glad they did!

I hope that’s EXACTLY how she reveals she’s a former Jedi. I literally just want a show of Ahsoka wrecking it 😂 I’m shipping Trace and Ahsoka. Trace is a bit naive, but its cute. I wish Ahsoka could just find someone simple, like Rafa says trouble just seems to follow Ahsoka. If I could imagine a relationship for Ahsoka, I’d imagine something like the married couple from the tv show Firefly. Someone who gets what you’re about and is right there by your side, on your level. Trace is just not quite as worldly yet. But to be honest, I don’t mind a single Ahsoka either. I hears that originally when Filoni wrote these-released those rough cuts of what he wanted before this season was a reality was Trace was a male. I’m glad she’s not.

This episode bums me out that we can’t binge the series-this was definitely a build up to next week’s episode. I really like Trace and Ahsoka but I’m concerned about when Ahsoka reveals she’s a former Jedi. I’m surprised the Jedi-mind trick didn’t tip off the sisters. I suppose something has to happen where we don’t see the sisters in the future...

I love this show. It might be uneven but damn. It got me tonight. Between Vic’s grandma, Dean and Baby Pruitt, and Ben and Pruitt, I had tears tonight. And that’s hardly happens more than once on shows for me. Gah. Ben asking Pruitt to find Danny made me cry. It literally destroyed me. I really like the Dean storyline. I kinda hope they don’t go there with Dean and Vic. We hardly see adult friendships where adults aren’t falling in bed with each other. I both want them to find someone, just not each other. If they do start a thing, I hope it lasts.

I loved it. I loved Ahsoka’s jumpsuit and her running headfirst into trouble for someone else. I’m not a huge fan of her passing judgement on the sisters’ lives but it fits her inexperience of real life outside of the Jedi. When she said her older brother taught her how to fight, I felt my heart ache for Ahsoka. The worst is yet to come for her...I wonder how we’re going to get from here to back with the Jedi. Anyone else wish these episodes were longer? Twenty-four minutes just fly by. I wish that the last episode would be a surprise and be at least an hour long.

Anakin seems really still together, I thought maybe he’d start coming undone by the seams a bit before the end of this series. Guess he’s not isolated enough yet. Poor Echo, he must have been freezing. I just kept thinking “someone get the clone some clothes.” Rex getting thrown somewhere he doesn’t want to get thrown never gets old.

I’m unspoiled for this show, and I think that’s where they’re going to. Look at the clothes everyone is wearing-Anakin is in all black like he was in ROTS and Obi Wan was in his white outfit. They both have the hairstyles like their ROTS characters have. Padme looked pregnant in the hologram. They build up Rex and Cody, so Order 66 hurts more. We see Clones just getting decimated by the war, Rex regretting their actions, Cody talking about surviving the war. I’m sure Dave Filoni had an ideal ending for this series, where else would he end it but at the only definite place where the Clone Wars end-Order 66.

Only 200 years prior...hmmmm. Makes me wonder who we’re going to see that we already know about. Yoda at 700 years old(he was 900ish right when he died?)? When did everything with Tarre Vizsla happen? No Sith right? They hadn’t been seen in a 1000 years in Phantom Menace right? I’m really interested-this could be a lot of fun.

Yeah. Just on the longer missions we’ve seen, I’m surprised we haven’t seen it. Especially when we see how big Rex’s beard is in Rebels. But I’m sure it’s also a nightmare to remember when animating. I know the clones age twice as fast, does that mean we’re technically seeing teenagers go through Order 66? That’s something else I was thinking about watching these two episodes. They’re all babies doing this.

I really think its building up Order 66. Rex doubting the war, showing how much he cares for Cody and Echo. Seeing how much Anakin trusts Rex to let him in on his BIG married secret. Knowing how pained Cody and Rex are to be the survivors of this war-Order 66 is going to be downright painful. Poor poor Echo. That was so rough. I cannot believe this animation-Echo looked absolutely emancipated and awful. I now what to go back and watch the Citadel episodes to watch his part in it. I can’t believe Filoni had Obi Wan call out Anakin over his secret call to Padme. Anakin’s and Rex’s faces were PRICELESS. I now want Rex to show up in the live action Obi Wan show to see baby Luke. I hope it happens.
