this right here. like i have my set of dishes when i lived on my own. my mom has HER set of dishes - and we basically eat out of takeout containers etc because it's easier to eat in our room and put the lid on. they just sit there and mom can't bear to toss them in case someting happens and we need to move and we want plates. [like we still wouldn't take the take out boxes with us].

No, she may not want to play tea party in three years. but that doesn't mean she wouldn't enjoy having a tea service when she's older. But I think she'll always remember the woman that she loves as a grandmother gave her something precious and use it from time to time and can pass that down. To me it just reads that Tracy cared for Gregory very much - and by extension grew to love Violet very much. [and we already know she cares very much for Finn]. Lila took a lot of chicks under her wing and made them feel just as much as the family as her own brood - and it's evident Tracy does the same thing just a bit more selectively - so to give Violet the tea set is Tracy in her way showing her how much she loves Violet. - I think it's very much a Tracy moment more than it is a Violet moment I'm sure there are countless more treasures and heirlooms that Lila left behind that BLQ and her family could cherish and pass on and it doesn't diminish the fact that Tracy had a love bond with a little girl and wanted to give said little girl two pieces of her heart because we know Tracy doesn't give out her memories of Lila to anyone that easily. I don't find that insulting at all.

guhhh i hate this about myself.... while i hate that they did that - if it's Tracy's tea set that Lila gave to Violet, and Tracy loves Violet then it's Tracy's place to give it to a girl that she cares about. (but yeah i hate that. that shoulda been a big ole nope)

i know for a lot of coma patients. they do have volunteers to like move their limbs and do massages so they don't atrophy. but yeah like i always have to wonder when they put people in like long term comas on shows - realistically, what's the point of all of this? (which is why i have a living directive that basically. just pull plugs and let nature decide for me).

I didn't watch GL, but on reddit people were saying that JAMMY (Jonathan/Tammy - whose mother was Cassie aka Carly for us). was a massive thing. and they were first cousins and they even got married and I think there was a baby or something before Tammy died. but like Jonathan slept with Tammy KNOWING they were cousins because he wanted to hurt his mother who gave him up as a kid. but then they had a real love story. (their love scenes were on fire. - and not in the damnation sense teeheee). So......yeah. Sasha being all"I'm not gonna let anyone take Cody from me." might lead to that.

it's actually scary the amount of soap opera history i can recall on demand... ask my to recall anything that i went to university or college for 6+ years for. crickets... I know. like i know ABC has the rights again so they can pull AMC/OLTL people onto the show and I feel like having Blair as the Third Ex Wife was supposed to be a "Squeee!!!" because it's Blair but I am like when would BLAIR go for Martin? Or any Cramer Woman). now Sasha was in danger by David Vickers? like stahp show. You are already ruining your own show, Frank. don't drag OLTL/AMC into this nonsense. I think i read here? (maybe reddit) Emma Samms filmed her scenes and bounced. so nope.

Forget that - just move to Salem. like there was a time that everyone was dating their aunt/cousin/half whatever and it just got to the point where - they [the writers] didn't care so there really just was no more point in stressing about it. (actually there was the whole Natalie/Jared storyline (OLTL) and she thought Jared was her uncle and she still wanted to jump his bones until Jared was like yeah I'm just fooling then they screwed like bunnies). Soap Writers really like the Flowers in the Atticness of it i guess. but for the life of me this annoys me because this is basically "We need to make everyone BE someone/connected to history on the show" and "Let's make Holly mean something." The time to do that was with Ethan who logically that made a lot more sense than Sasha but Show decided to appease Geary vs using logical sense then. it makes less sense now. Like not everyone needs to be related to someone on the show. And what frustrates me to no end is that Sasha really just shoulda been Nina's if they had to go there

I get what you mean but 26 out of 50 states and Canada it is legal too. It wouldn't be my go to but apparently it's more common than we think. I just remember how in Salem at one point everyone was dating someone they were related to. I honestly think they don't care

to be fair - Sonny turning himself in, means that Carly lied and she could get arrested as an accessory after the fact so it's very much what about her too. However. shouldn't have lied to cover a murder, you dipstick.

honestly I don't feel sorry for JS. He & AS want to be Amish so they get nothing fun. I honestly don't understand why you would want to be on a soap opera and not want to do anything Soap Opera-y but whatever yeah. i get that honestly while I understand why Molly is upset - she's acting like a toddler "you like Kristina so you totally can't like me!". again i think for one shining moment when Molly was stating that she learned how to never lean on Alexis and Alexis was all sobby but I WANTED YOU TOO. YOU CAN YOU KNOW was great because i think it unearthed another layer of Molly/Alexis, but then they've done NOTHING to it because Molly's pissed off at anyone who has any sympathy at all towards Kristina. it was fine the first week but now? i know. so frustrating.

yeah. on reddit a LOT of people feel Molly is int he right, Kristina is just this pampered coddled so and so and Alexis deserves what she's getting because she allows all of that. and I am like... i think i missed something lol

yeah i know all of that. l just mean. at the end of the day you would never expect that conversation in any shape or form coming from Carly or Jason (and THEY need it lol) it would just be nice if Lucky and Liz had it (even if it went as soapy as they both agree, Lucky leaves and 2 seconds later there's a knock at the Door and he's there, and they start making out or something lol)
