  1. She was an immigration attorney, and he was a financial planner. Yeah, her vocal fry was like fingernails on the chalkboard for me. As a former longtime Memphian, I would have picked the Chickasaw Gardens house. That is one of the best neighborhoods in Memphis. It’s beautiful there.
  2. I know I get tired of people saying they want a place with “(fill in the country) charm,” but when I saw the place the AF couple chose, I thought “But it has no Italian charm!” ?
  3. Thanks for the links. After looking at them, I love the first one even more. I wish I were rich! ? I kept thinking of a phrase I heard a contestant say about a wedding planner on Hell’s Kitchen, “I’m gay. That guy is parade gay.”
  4. Me too. Personally, I would have to have the fresco house. That place was amazing! I wish I could see the whole place. BTW, there was nothing wrong with the extra bedroom.
  5. I just saw this episode and totally disliked the husband. Yes, he was controlling. Probably why he is 26 years old and divorced (with two kids!). Except for the kitchen they both liked, she didn’t get anything she wanted. It was all about his exercise space. Don’t they have gyms on base?
  6. The house they bought would make a great B&B. What is a “mid-century modern”?
  7. Doug Jones! ? I think Ben should have won too. His Tinkerbell was exquisite and very Del Toro-esque. The woman with the stretched out earlobes and the nose rings made me ?. Why do people do that to themselves?
  8. They weren’t even in the DC corridor. They were in Richmond! I live in the Shenandoah Valley and it’s quite affordable, I think.
  9. St. Louis: What is a “Sunday Fun Day Car”? ? I liked all three of those houses. My fave was the first. The little doors in the walls of the master in the house mansion they got reminded me of “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark” where the little evil creatures came out at night. ?Those guys bought a mansion for what I’ve seen people on other episodes buy a mundane fixer upper in California or Boston.
  10. I have heard that Medellin now is not like the drug cartel days. I wish there had been some mention of the change because the first thing people still think of when they hear “Medellin” is the cocaine cowboys days.
  11. Re: Richmond to Medellin: I liked the husband (and his wind chimes). He seemed like a mensch. He was right - if you don’t have A/C, you need a breeze. Didn’t like the wife. Glad Dave got his breezy place. Looks as if they have hooked up with the expats.
  12. Surely there were guests that went to Westworld not to fornicate and kill but to experience life in the Old West. Maybe not...
  13. I agree. Just look at the young Ed Harris in The Right Stuff. Very handsome (still is). Jimmy is a good actor but not handsome at all.
  14. I laughed when eyeball eater said that the baboons ate their figs. No, dude, you ate their figs.
  15. Fraternities just need to go.
  16. Ditto. If the dude weren’t a deputy, he would have been convicted years ago. I wish Michelle had had her brother go with her to get her stuff.
  17. Mel did need to tap out since she was suffering, but Lacey didn’t need to be a bitch about it. Can nobody weave? Somebody needs to try to make a trap for the catfish. They better hope that the solo dude finds them since he seems to be the only one who can hunt.
  18. As I mentioned above, I think the wife’s mom should pitch in for her housing if she is able. Re: the blue and white china, there were pieces on display in the kitchen. Maybe there was nowhere to put that beautiful platter.
  19. So does Delores have the “key”? Hale didn’t ask “where is she taking it?”
  20. Re: the June 2 episode, did they say why the wife’s mother was moving in with them? Sounds as she should pitch in some ? for the MIL suite if she can afford it. I loved the “fairy tale” house! Would love to read the listing for it. Once again, an average house is unbelievably (for me) priced. $815,000 for that?
  21. For $1300/month, they better bring me breakfast in bed and do my laundry! ?
  22. The big master bedroom in the apartment that wasn’t in the Pijp was not on the street side anyway. The agent noted that to the wife.
  23. I’m through with this show. Haven’t watched it in a week and don’t miss it.
  24. Chicago couple: The dog was adorable, not so much the couple. Hubby annoyed me with his “nobody can have lived here before” shit. Wonder how he deals with hotels.
