I feel bad for Jill. Obviously she wasn't asked to be part of the wedding party because of the book. The book that I always will believe Derick insisted they write so he could redeem himself in spite of all the family chaos it cost. Of course Jill's giggle when talking about Jana and "Gothard's Girls" didn't help. But again, I think she was following Derick's lead and jumped right up on his new pedestal with him.

Not when you think about how much money they put into the house - not including the pool. The changed the flooring, had a huge plumbing problem, painted the complete interior, put up a fence and landscaped in the front. Oh and added some jeep contraption in the garage. They probably sunk at least $20,000 into the house and the in first decade or so most of the mortgage payment goes toward the interest. Then add the pool...

The venue only costs $6500. I'm guessing about twice that for food, so probably no more $25,000 combined, on the higher end. Typically only the wedding dress and groom's tux are paid for by the bride and groom - but Duggar, so nothing is typical. I would guess with say a $5000 wedding dress and $100 per dress and tux rental, it would add less than $10,000. My guess is the cost of everything was less than $40,000.

It would take a lot more to restrict an adult from children than losing a kid for 10 minutes or so. Even Josh could be around his kids with Anna supervising and around other kids with supervision and permission from the court.

I wonder if Jana has thought about birth control or not. Or maybe she thinks if they want any kids they need to try right away due to her age. I also wonder why Jana wanted the public attention. She knew returning to SM would get curiosity up. And she knew a photo of her wearing a ring would bring out the SM super sleuths. And... is this the first wedding Josh has missed?

I don't think it went to court. But I agree, I think Anna lost the kid and Jana took the fall because Josh was in the middle of his 3rd scandal. I really don't think either of them thought it would bring charges, I think they were hoping to dampen the gossip rags.

Crazy to think if Jana was married nearly a decade ago, her wedding dress would have looked a lot like Michael's. And we all thought Michael was so bold with frontal hugging Brandon prior to marriage back then.

Katie looks great for a mom of two little ones and pregnant with twins. Maybe Jessa should have picked a style more like that. And Jessa just did a reel in biker shorts and tank a week or two ago. So unless she's pregnant again since then, she looked pretty good in her exercise gear.

Tax write-offs are not what they sound like. You don't get anything for free. It just reduces the amount you pay in taxes. Unless you're making millions or billions a year, its akin to using coupons at the grocery store.

Jana's dress - wow. Never in a million years would I expect to see a Duggar daughter in that. And her sister's bridesmaid dresses weren't all that modest either, except for Jessa's sack. Was Jinger hiding a possible baby bump? I'm guessing she picked Jessa to be MOH because she is the oldest sister (besides Jill). I think Jana is very conscious of all the talk about her hanging with the Lost Girls. What happened to her live-in BFF? And the Wissman family cooked for 500. Crazy. And... no mention of her parents on the invite.

This is such a Fundy thing that is ass backwards. There will always be men and women who are more physically attractive than our spouses. Why deny that? We can think other folks are beautiful/handsome and leave it at that. It doesn't mean we want to boink them, or that we wish our spouse looked different, it just means what it means.
