  1. I wish they would stop referring to this as the "unconventional challenge". It's an "unconventional MATERIALS challenge".
  2. No, they asked how long it would take to churn the butter and were told 45minutes. They would have DOMINATED!
  3. I was waiting for Georgina's intro as well! Color me stunned! And ITA agree about both my crush on Dimitry (although I'd love a Chris March victory) and the hope for more two-day challenges.
  4. Ok, then how about Chef Ramsey?
  5. Add one of the Kardashians to the cast and it could be Biggest Survivor Loser Top Runway Idol Chef Kardashian.
  6. I miss the days of contestants having a luxury item - it allowed for us to get a better feel for who they were. I also REALLY miss the days when they had to SURVIVE. This group is a bunch of wimps who can't even stand to feel hungry.
  7. Michael was SO committed to his clients. My favorite was the Earl Williams case that spanned a number of episodes. The way he dealt with opposing counsel, Margaret Flannigan was brilliant. I was so happy to see Earl with his family that I think I actually cried. Michael had other memorable cases, but this was my favorite.
  8. I'm gonna use that line from here on.
  9. DickBla has made it clear that being a chef isn't enough for him. He wants to be a *"STAR!"*. I wish he'd stay in his own kitchen.
  10. I told Mr. Lnmop that I was waiting for either that, or "Begging your ladies' pardon, but if you would be so kind...". So disappointing. Mr. Dentist sounds like he went to one too many Tony Robins seminars. Otherwise, good leg.
  11. Here's a place to discuss Michael - aka Mickey.
  12. Having just watched the DVDs of Seasons 1-4, taking into account that Society and laws have changed, most of the cases hold up extremely well. Arnie's family practice cases, Michael and Victor's litigation, Grace's prosecution, Jonathan's race related cases (who can forget when a courtroom was destroyed after a case?) Douglas' often more amusing causes of action (representing 100 kids against a cereal company over a prize in the box, with Benny as named client!) and Leland stepping in as the big gun when needed. Their handling of religion, AIDS, women's issues, divorce as depicted 25 years ago, is still entertaining and thought-provoking.
  13. They further addressed her purpose as the one who understands the real world. She wasn't hired because Walter loves her; Walter understood how to relate to her son. I think they'll flush out her character more - it appears as if the rest of the team needs to warm to her first.
  14. The hat was clearly referred to as an English Bowler, and the racers were given an umbrella. IIRC, Chaplin carried a cane. I DO wish they had referred to the umbrellas as bumpershoots, or at least brollies!
  15. House's best friend, played by Robert Sean Leonard.
  16. My dad used to say that there are people born happy who can make the best of unthinkably horrible events and remain happy and people born miserable who can win the lottery and continue being miserable. I know which one Bethenny is.
  17. Yeah, Aretha looked awful and Cissy looked as if she wished she was anyplace else. NPH was fantastic, and Dave was great, as always!
  18. OK, show off. :-) And yes, I'm a vocabulary dweeb.
  19. Whenever I find a new character whose name is either Dwayne or Dwight, it reminds me of a scene from The West Wing where Jed says there are only three words in the English language that begin with "DW". Two are dwell and dwarf. Any guesses on the third? (Sorry if this is off-topic, but...)
  20. They're gonna have to keep coming up with tournaments until Ken can finally beat Brad. That. Is. All.
