So what's the over/under on when Alton starts his countdown of "then there were X"?

This was my favorite episode of Chopped EVER! The four Grandmas were so calm and competent, and the nicest contestants I've seen on any competitive show. The food looked great - even the judges had to really reach to find anything wrong. I especially loved it when one of the grandmas chided Ted, saying he was behaving like a naughty grandchild. More shows like this, please!

I was hoping she would win for pretty much the same reason - she would realize that she was head and shoulders above anything Grey Sloan could give her and they would benefit from her presence. Christina deserves to be somewhere that's cutting edge in more than Shonda's mind.

I've been rewatching past seasons of GA and the one thing that came through is that I never liked Owen. There's nothing endearing about him, I don't get what Christina saw in him, he's gruff, unwilling to compromise (who would force a woman to have a baby when she's repeatedly said in no uncertain terms NO?) and seemingly unwilling to work on his own problems. He did nothing positive for Christina, unlike Burke. And on top of that, I don't find him that attractive.

What I don't get is that a huge number of Seattle-Grace/Mercy-West/Sloan Grey doctors thinking they could possibly EVER be in the echelon to be nominated for the Harper Avery award. I'll buy that Cristina would be in the running, but Meredith? Leah? Give me a break. First of all, the family of Averys is a shareholder at Sloan Grey, which could raise conflict of interest accusations in the medical community, creating a sense of nepotism and undue influence in order to boost their reputation. Secondly, Leah??? Not. Third, are there no other hospitals/doctors also worthy? I've never bought into the "world class" reputation of SG/MW-SG hospital, particularly in view of all the hookups going on. If anyone other than Cristina wins it, I would feel as if the award had been diluted. And if Jackson ever won it? It's worthless.

Was that Jean Luc Picard in the audience?
