Only thing I’m happy about is there should be a first time winner. They are all mostly sociopaths, but I still oddly enjoy the show, other than the stupid purges/double cross/redemption house. I am generally against teams losing an elimination and still winning the game. So even though I’d prefer for Brad and Kyle to win, on principle I have to root against any of the Redemption House teams. So I guess I hope Nelson/Shane win. Shane’s a bitch, but he has been a good competitor through the years who just chokes in eliminations. Nelson is the only Young Buck I like, if only because he is so earnestly and entertainingly stupid. I’ll never root for Johnny. Fuck him. He has too much power with the producers. He basically got to hand pick the cast of the next season, if rumors are true.

The funniest part is that you know Kyle doesn’t give a shit about Brad’s kids, but used them to try and guilt trip Cara. His “he’s got two little ones! He hasn’t got no job!” had me laughing. Kyle is without a doubt an ass, but he is the most entertaining member of the cast. Shane knows that drama equals being cast for future seasons. It’s a shame that his shit stirring gets in the way of being a good competitor. He should be one of the favorites this season, but you know his mouth is going to doom him. Glad to see Johnny not win. Zach dogs Amanda, but she is a solid competitor. She’s agile and good at puzzles. Zach’s strength should more than make up for her lack of size. I think they could probably win.

I like CT, but cast members have said that he is still a bit of an asshole. He gets the best, most forgiving edit according to some on the cast. That was a bad challenge for Veronica, given her height. She’s not a strong competitor anymore, but for that specific challenge I think she deserved to not be treated like crap.

BMP can fuck up anything. Why of all things would they make it to where two teams lose by sheer luck? Why not make the loser of Armageddon go home? Make it so where the team who draws the double cross can choose any two teams to compete to win their way back to the house or be sent home? If they want to risk going home, they can vote themselves in. If not, they can send two other teams in. Either way, teams are given a chance to compete. The fact that Paulie and Natalie have lost twice and are still in the game is laughable. They could conceivably lose several more times and get to stay in the game. I’m sick of purges in general. They seem to only exist to give weaker competitors more of a chance. And even then, none of the newbies, save for Smashley, have been able to win. So far this is the worst season of the show. The previous two weren’t great either, and they were made worse by the Finals. Maybe this season will give us a good Final, but I doubt it. Supposedly the reunion will be 3-parts. If they make us wait to reveal the winners again, I will just look up the spoilers.
-
Paulie being 5’8 and like 150 lbs didn’t help with that elimination. I think many of the other guys would have handled it much better, to where it wouldn’t seem like such a disadvantage. Still, it’s obvious the formula used to determine the resistance was ridiculous. Kam had it way too easy. They should have made Natalie do the bungee portion, or simply don’t do same sex and mixed sex pairs in the same damn season.

S32.E02: The Young and the Wreckless 2018.07.17

Kyle is funny. On a show full of awful people, he at least is amusing. If MTV is trying to position anyone as the new face of the show, I think it’s Kyle. They made him a part of the strongest team. Barring a major upset or prop malfunction(Brad was screwed last season), I don’t see these two not making the final. I’m willing to chalk up the lack of challenges and eliminations to Melissa and Kailah being sent home and waiting for Tony to be flown in. But unfortunately it’s looking like another long drawn out season with probably another stupid purge. Instead of eliminating 3 teams at once, how about we get 2-3 more eliminations? -
S02.E10: Champs vs. Stars: Bank Rolling in the Deep 2018.06.19

It was actually a good final. With the rain, I’m sure it was tougher than the Vendettas final. The challenges and finals in the spinoff shows are often more creative and interesting than the main Challenge. The drama is 100 percent contrived, but I actually do enjoy the challenges. I’m not too hyped for the next real season. So maybe it will surprise me. The show needs some new winners. -
Pretty boring episode. It was obvious who was going home. I’m waiting to see whether Dom or Wendell turn on each other. Dom is starting to get an overwhelming winner’s edit, so I hope Wendell comes out on top so as to not make it obvious. Though I’m cool with anyone but Kellyn winning. At this point, I’d be shocked if one of Dom,Wendell, or Laurel don’t win. Unfortunately for Donathon, I don’t think the jury will respect his game enough to vote for him.
-
I really don’t get the people who feel Dom is an asshole. Other than the opening episode where he was the only one to criticize Chris’s decision, I haven’t seen him be an asshole. Bradley was/is an asshole. Dom just has that Jersey/New York accent that people associate with players like Tony. Dom seems like a good natured guy to me, but perhaps it’s the edit, in which case, he’s totally getting the winner’s edit. Kellyn makes my skin crawl. Such a prissy little spaz. People wanting the girls to gang up and take out Dom and Wendell realize that Kellyn wins in that scenario, right? Which is why I’m cool with the obvious winner situation if Dom or Wendell win.
-
I’m starting to worry about Wendell. He seems like he is too good at this game, and the other tribe members surely must notice this. He’s a physical and social threat. He’s very well spoken and would likely crush the final tribal council. I’m more confident in Laurel and Donathon surviving longer than Wendell right now. Dom seems to be safeguarded by Wendell being seen as the bigger threat. I doubt this alliance lasts, unfortunately, as I like all 4 of them.

The way they reveal the winner sucks, just like the final and the second half of the season. It’s strange how much less difficult the finals have been the past two seasons, while the prize money for the winners has went way up. Cara is entitled. Just like most vets. That clip of her fight with Nelson showed that. Own up to it. With Laurel,Camilla, and Sarah gone, Cara is the best female. It’s okay if she acts full of herself. Just quit acting all innocent. Jordan is an asshole, but Derrick standing up for Cara was as much about him trying to get cast for future seasons. He made it far on Dirty 30, but he was boring and was pretty much invisible in the edit. The producers want drama, even if it is fake. Devin is too over the top now. He was annoying and made me side with Johnny, who looked like he was wearing guyliner. But that’s besides the point. Disappointed the Miz and Brad didn’t try and recreate the atomic wedgie turned necklace incident.
-
I officially hate this season. It’s so damn boring. Even with all the tribe swaps a Pagonging is still happening! I can’t stand Kellyn,Brad, or the woman with huge boobs whose name is escaping me. The army lady really upset me this episode too. Play the damn game! There are only 4 players I can say I somewhat enjoy(Michael,Laurel,Donathan, and Wendell). God help them if they get tribe swapped with the cultish group of Kellyn,Brad, and big boobs.

“It’s Back to discount groceries and open eyeballs for you, buddy. Have fun explaining to the ex-wife and kids about your behavior on this challenge.” I just don’t see the need to bring up his kids so much. Marie did it earlier this season too. And it’s made worse because Zach and Marie didn’t know Brad before this season, to the best of my knowledge. So what gives them the right to speak on his personal life?

Brad got hosed in that elimination by faulty equipment. He had the better strategy, as he usually does, but the handles inside both balls break? Seems fishy. I think Zach is funny but his comments as Brad was leaving were below the belt. So a 36 year old single guy was banging a 26 year old single woman consensually? What’s the problem? Did people have a problem with Cory and Aneesa? Not sending Zach into elimination is the single dumbest move that could have been made. But because these finals are never truly individual, the consideration of the opposite sex and keeping stronger players to be paired with is factored in. On that count, I would have had Zach go against Brad. I know I’m higher on Brad than most, but I think all-around he’s close to Zach. I don’t think he’d be a liability in a final. He’s better at puzzles and strategy than Zach, and is good enough at the physical stuff too. Kyle is funny. I don’t think his playing dumb strategy will work in future seasons, but he seems to be loved by everyone, so that helps. So, it sounds like the players that made the final get to keep the money in their bank accounts. So Tony,Zach, and Nicole already won the equivalent of third place finishers in the past, if not more. So if there is only one winner in the final, it’s easier to stomach. I just hope they find a way to make it fair so the females have a shot, but at the same time avoid tilting it too far to help the women. Like let’s say they have to carry a percentage of their body weight, that is something Cara and Nicole would crush, while the guys could struggle with. I suppose I’m rooting for LeRoy or Cara to win. I’d be okay with Nicole too.

The women steamrolled themselves while deciding the Troika. Devin offered up his vote to put the women in the troika and they fucking declined the offer! All three of those women could have been safe if they weren’t so afraid of upsetting Zach and Tony. The troika and grenades, while initially intriguing, have been a complete failure. Too much power is given to the troika for the way in which it is decided. Too many team challenges. It would have been more fair and interesting if the game was mostly individual and the top 3 performers formed the troika, with the men and women alternating depending on whether it’s a male or female elimination day. I hope Devin and Jemmye are the ones eliminated, though I’d be fine with Kailah being eliminated too. It’s a terribly boring challenge with no reference point to tell how any of them did. Kyle was the only one that was shown to be struggling, but that was probably just because of his funny commentary. I’m sure others did as well. It’s interesting how fast things are moving now that Johnny is gone. They dragged things out while he was on and are rushing to the finish with him out. Had he made the final, I’m sure they would have found a way to stretch this season into 3 more episodes with his ”witty” commentary and pot stirring in the House.

The two posters who tend to have the inside scoops on Vevmo are saying Landon is confirmed. Wow! An actual good person worth rooting for! Not to mention the greatest competitor of all-time(along with CT). The male cast is ridiculously strong: Landon CT Johnny Zach Brad Joss With 3 or 4 spots yet to be confirmed, here’s hoping for one of Derrick,Darrell, or Abe. Abe in a house with Cara and Kyle would be insane. With those three, I could see either a threesome happening or Abe murdering Kyle.
-
That’s not the full list. If Landon winds up not being on this season after the heavy speculation, I will be upset. Supposedly Abe was rumored to be on as well. The female cast is so disappointing. If Landon and/or Abe are in the cast, then the male side is stacked.
-
If the rumors of a male challenge legend returning for season 32 are correct, maybe there is still hope for an Evelyn return. I never expected to see this guy again.

I hate the mercenaries twist and how unfair it is. I have no love for Britni, but the difference between drawing Laurel or Ashley is immense. Laurel is an automatic loss for whoever got her. In Britni’s case, I think she loses to Ashley as well, but she at least would have had a chance. She probably loses to Kam too, so it’s not a Joss vs Shane level of unfairness, but it still sucks. I thought for a moment we were going to see Darrell vs Brad. As much as I still root for Brad, I don’t think he has the stamina or the legs to beat Darrell. What did CT call him during the Duel? A bone rack? “He’s got no legs, bro!” Frank is a bitch. Glad to see him lose easily. He looked like he was just there for a free trip to Spain. I need Laurel to start doing regular challenges again. Though I doubt Cara would like that very much. The female cast has been very weak the last couple seasons. And now with Camilla banned, it’s basically only Cara left as a strong competitor . Nicole is good at anything physical, but is not good with puzzles. She’s basically the female Nelson. We’ll see how good Kam really is moving forward. Laurel and Sarah are sorely missed. Kyle was impressive this episode. Based solely on what I’ve seen on this show, I find him entertaining and charming. He seems to be playing the best political game, as everyone loves him. He is a low-key good competitor too. Zach and Tony are running the game now, which is something I never thought I’d say. Zach seems to have dropped some mass and improved his endurance. He has to be the favorite to win for the guys. Devin is terrible at picking teams. I suppose he thought a team of 4 had no chance, so he chose all of his alliance to be on his team. And his team had 3 guys. But how do you not choose Zach and Cara or Nicole to be on your team?

Johnny fucking spoiled this episode on social media before it aired. Supposedly he spoiled who wins the season too, though thankfully I didn’t see it. How does he not get in trouble for this? I was shocked that producers gave Devin a non-physical elimination vs Johnny. I guess I have to give them some credit, unless they introduce a way for Johnny to get back in the game. Devin can be funny at times, and I laughed at his reaction to winning, particularly when they added that special effect to his talking head. He’s a pompous ass, but at least he can be entertaining. Seeing TJ lecture on bullying and not standing for it made me roll my eyes. What happened to Kayleigh would not even rank in the top 25 worst bullying incidents on this show. Zach and Tony are clearly getting winner edits. Brad is nowhere to be found.

It’s too early to judge the attractiveness of the cast just from watching the show. Libby seems to be cute. Yoga Steph has a nice body, though her chest was clearly purchased. Jenna has a big booty. If Morgan looks like Smashley from ‘The Challenge’ then she must be fairly attractive. As for the men, the two models are handsome. Sebastian has a face that does not match the body. I wouldn’t exactly call him a butterface, but it is sort of goofy looking. James and the furniture designer are good looking dudes too. Not that any of this matters, but I didn’t really think the cast wasn’t attractive enough while watching.
-
I don’t think Devin can take out Johnny in an elimination, and he isn’t good enough physically to get people to follow him. He’s entertaining, but he is no Wes. Eventually Zach or Tony will have to realize that they stand a better chance at winning if Johnny isn’t in the final.
-
For Jemmye, I understand why she wouldn’t go for Johnny. Her only hope in this game is to float around unnoticed. She doesn’t want him going after her. Her biggest mistake is justifying her vote by thinking Johnny is protecting her by not putting her in any inquisitions. He’s not doing that, he’s only saving her as a layup for when/if Natalie is sent in.
-
I want to like Devin, but it’s hard to not see him as a pushover. Unless the elimination is some puzzle, he has little chance to beat anyone. Johnny is correct in saying that he is a layup, IMO. Apparently Johnny is injured. So there is hope of the Sarah curse continuing. Now will Tony and Zach risk angering him by putting him in vs a layup opponent? Doubtful. Nelson seems a lock to go in. I was surprised Kailah actually made a good decision with her grenade and created the teams properly. She’s still not a good social player and lucked out having a kiddie puzzle and an opponent that treats the show as a vacation. But at least she used the grenade wisely. Natalie is going to be the female face of the show if she wants to continue appearing. I think she is fake, and I’m not fond of her relationship with Johnny, but she seems to be good at this game.
