Well, at least we have a team to root against. Given the edit Fessy has had, I have trouble seeing him as the winner. I’d love to see LeRoy/Nany win, but they do not compliment each other well. The only way either win is if they have a male and female elimination during the final and the two winners pair up, which I think is pretty likely. My guess for the final is CT faces Cory and Kam faces Amber in an elimination and CT and Kam wind up paired, leading to them winning.

I’m surprised at how many people don’t seem to have a vested rooting interest in LeRoy. Other than being good friends with Johnny, he’s always been incredibly likable. The only downside to him is he is partnered with Kaycee. I guess I still enjoy the show more than most(although this site is probably the most negative on this show),because I’d be happy if a number of people win(LeRoy,Kyle,CT,Nany,Kam).

I want LeRoy to win, but absolutely don’t want boring Kaycee winning. Part of me thinks CT is going to win more so than before. LeRoy and Kaycee are too overpowered. And CT looks like he will wind up with a good partner now. I love Big T, but she would not have won a final. I think CT can win with any of the remaining women. Honestly, Nany might be the perfect partner for him. Surprisingly, she can run and has endurance. CT can handle puzzles/math/eating. There isn’t an obvious weakness with that pairing.

Man, Kaycee may be the most boring competitor ever on this show. She has dominated this season, yet she is basically invisible. I like Aneesa, but what does she expect? Of course no one would want to be her partner in a final. It’s a certainty that she will not be able to win. I’m assuming CT vs Kyle will be the next men’s elimination. If CT wins, does he switch to Kam? I feel like he wins this season if he gets Kam back. It’s either LeRoy or him.

Sad to see Darrell go. He was the one I was rooting for. Now it’s down to LeRoy,Kyle, and Big T. I’ll be happy if any of them win. I think it’s obvious MTV favors Cory. They do tailor the eliminations to the players they want to win, and this one was clearly about speed. If I had to guess, I bet the final won’t include swimming in order to give LeRoy a better chance, as he’s clearly the preferred winner.

I think either CT/Kam or LeRoy/Kaycee is going to win this season. I’m rooting for Darrell, but CT and Kam are so visible in the edit. So was Devin, but that was because he was the best narrator. I completely understand CT leaving for Kam, but he was way too over the top. I don’t remember CT screaming so much back in his heyday. Now it’s his go to when he’s in an argument. Just yell louder. Am I crazy for thinking Big T would be better than Nany as a partner? She can swim and seems smarter than Nany. Nany is a smoker, so I doubt she has great endurance. Nam may be the nicest person ever on this show. Hopefully we see him again. -
Ashley has the greatest gap between elimination and finals performances. She is arguably the best female in finals and one of the worst at eliminations. She can run for days and is good at puzzles. But eliminations rarely feature either of those elements. I love her and will miss her commentary, but she didn’t deserve to win. Kam is almost the polar opposite to Ashley. She’s a beast in eliminations, but has yet to perform well in a final. She is a great player and is due for a win. She just needs to close the deal.

As one of the few Smashley fans, it will be nice to have her talking heads back. It’s understandable that they would bring her back because of quarantine. Sad to see Natalie go. Even sadder to hear what happened. Another uninteresting daily challenge. This is the second consecutive season with poor dailies. Maybe it’s time to find a new challenge designer. Fessy is overrated. That is all. I like Aneesa. I was rooting for her to beat Tori. I’d love to see her win. But it’s just not physically possible, unfortunately. It was nice to see Darrell get some more screen time. I’m rooting for him to win. I’d love to see what he can do in a modern final.

I don’t get Fessy. He’s not entertaining in the slightest. He’s big and athletic. But I get the sense he’s not built for finals. So, whatever with him. I’m over all of the Big Brother people. Josh continues to be arguably the worst and most annoying cast member of all-time. He starts arguments simply for camera time. Which isn’t unusual, but the guy has such a delusional opinion of his ability. He’s always searching for rivals, but his biggest rival will always be his fat tongue and trying not to choke or bite on it when he talks. Poor Nelson. I actually think he could win a final, but I question if he’ll ever get there again. It amazes me how Darrell continues to fly under the radar. He’d smoke all of those fools in a final.

Outside of ‘Emotional’ being played over Josh’s act, this was a very boring episode. Wes didn’t even try in that elimination. He threw it for his friend. I’ve never seen him so beaten down. He used to be great at eliminations, but now he lacks the fire and confidence to take on all Challengers. He knew he was probably going to keep getting thrown in even if he won, and he just quit. It’s probably time for him to retire. I don’t understand why LeRoy didn’t go into elimination against Devin in what again looked like a clear physical elimination. If he gets his skull he probably skates to the final.
-
The problem is most are probably intimidated by her. You think they’ll be in a hurry to challenge her? I think Aneesa and Kam will want layups, and then they’ll start throwing Natalie or LoLo in.
-
I love Kyle. He’s the funniest, most consistently entertaining person on this show. He was swept up in the Cara-Paulie vortex in a couple of seasons, but great in the other 3. Joseph was a total bore. Don’t care if he’s a nice guy. I don’t watch this show for nice boring people.

I’m really digging the scenery in Iceland. Hopefully they’re in a nice house and not a bunker. Still don’t know what the theme means. Is it a partners season? I think we all know Wes will be a “Double Agent”, whatever that may mean. The limited number of Skulls is welcome. No more giving everyone a chance to earn one, hopefully. Time for some strategy. I am happy to see the return of Darrell. He won’t bring the drama anymore, but he is one of the best competitors of all-time.

TJ literally told them at the start there would be a male and female winner. Cory and Jenny even spoke about it in deliberation over who to send into elimination. It’s BS conspiracy theories made because people hate Johnny. -
They could film in the US and only include American contestants, I suppose. Find a remote area with a lot of land to build challenges. Have perhaps an old West theme. Allow the contestants to have more parties at the Challenge House and don’t go out to bars. To be honest, I’m surprised Survivor didn’t attempt to film in the US.

The problem with winner take all is that it leads to people quitting during the final. I’d prefer $425,000 for 1st place/$50,000 for 2nd/$25,000 for 3rd. You have to finish to win any money. -

I usually find that finals are the worst episodes of the season, and this was no different. It sucks that they edited out some checkpoints. Because this final felt lacking(no puzzle/eating/carnival game). I like that there are male and female winners. I even prefer for the second and third place finishers to receive prize money too. It was cool to see Jenny finish first. Johnny winning wasn’t surprising. I’ll never be a fan of his, but he doesn’t infuriate me. Cory just will never be smart enough to win a final where math/puzzles are featured. Fessy seemingly losing his lead on the physical climb and not on the math portion has to hurt for him. Kyle is a goof, but he is capable of winning one day. Just stay out of the Cara/Paulie nonsense -

I can’t remember the last time they had a single episode finale. Maybe Vendettas? I guess that wasn’t too long ago. But it was a pretty weak final. Maybe Kyle wins? Wouldn’t that be hilarious. -
Nelson didn’t win Invasion because he was a slower swimmer than CT, and even then that was a wonky final that had people wondering if they didn’t fudge the numbers to give CT the win. Fessy is starting to get a lot more screen time. I may have to switch my winner pick from Johnny to him. Cory has been featured heavily all season too. If a male wins, I’d be shocked if it wasn’t Johnny,Fessy, or Cory.
-
I’m not positive, but I do remember reading that Paulie wasn’t allowed on this season because he couldn’t pass a psych exam. Supposedly he made an Instagram video where he threatened harm on many of the cast members. He is much worse than Abe, IMO.
-
I’d prefer fewer red skulls. The political side of the game has been lacking this season because everyone is just sitting back and getting their chance. Even Kyle and Josh are probably going to be able to compete for the final red skull. I’d like to see 3 red skulls per gender. And in order to win one, you have to defeat someone that has one, once all 3 are in play. It’s unfair for whoever wins the first 3, but an incentive would be given for each time a player defends their red skull. So if a player wins 3 or 4 eliminations and reaches the final, they are given either money, regardless of their finish, or advantages in the final.
-
Cory had pictures of his daughter that he was looking at.
-
Well, we now know some of the people are betting on a purge that will allow them a last chance at getting a red skull. But I bet a purge will only happen once all of the contestants without a red skull are gone. And it looks like it won’t even be necessary just to give everyone a chance at a red skull. If there is another men’s elimination, it seems like they’ll just allow Kyle to face Josh. Which means no man would be left without a red skull. Nany,Melissa, and Bayleigh are the women left with potentially two more female eliminations. So it looks like nobody will be cut without a chance at getting a red skull. Which is disappointing.

I agree. And I believe he has apologized for them. But still, it was worse than what Dee said, IMO. And MTV cancelled Cory’s GF Taylor for comments she made 8 years ago when she was still a teen. Comments she supposedly apologized for on TV. MTV has opened a huge can of worms unnecessarily, IMO. How can you take their stances on Dee and Taylor seriously if they don’t go and cancel Johnny,Jordan,Mattie,Zach,Ninja,Bear and plenty of others? They should have simply condemned Dee’s comments and shadow banned her like they did with Kenny and Evan(although Kenny claims he still gets availability calls).
