Frankie did her best to end that Western PA talk...yet so far she's pretty cool HAHA!

We'll see. It depends on how much he helps or doesn't help at the IC
-
Looks like he's okay. Bruce taking Probst's line (and Jeff is okay with it)
-
That was...oh dear.

Past clips of the show? Never get old
-
An out of nowhere confessional. Pretty decent start I suppose

If Los Angeles crashes & burns, there's no real reason for him to come back, period

Washington releases Carson Wentz For a second I was surprised that he was only there for one season, until I remembered that he helped propel Pittsburgh into the 2021-2022 NFL postseason. Didn't help that Indianapolis can't do anything in Jacksonville. The Commanders, who also released Safety Bobby McCain, save over $26 Million against the salary cap

Well, based on their ratings (close to an actual nothing), no one has to see them unless they choose to! I'm still okay with the PGA. Especially today's final round with Chris Kirk surviving over Eric Cole to claim his first win in 8 years at the Honda Classic. It took a 73rd hole but he got the job done

Awww, the DeChambeu/Koepka Feud Is Done. Oh well! I guess it took joining LIV to make it happen, though I personally never thought of it as super serious. Just a battle as it related to on course play and not in real life. Either way, it was entertaining, but IMO nothing wrong with two of the best getting along. In terms of on course action, Chris Kirk has a 2-shot lead heading into the Honda Classic's final round. First lead at this point in 8 years, and if he were to hold on, it would be his first win in as many years (two separate events). BTW & FYI, Scheffler and Rahm continue to dominate, following wins in the Phoenix Open & the Genesis Open, respectively

Regardless of this case and whatever side someone is on plus those with no care/opinion, Brandon Miller’s entrance skit on Saturday did not need to take place. Yeah, it’s safe to say that isn’t really a good look. At the end of the day, if I had to guess, nothing big happens to the Alabama star, but maybe don’t do that (especially) while the case is happening. In terms of happenings, as in on the court: March has arrived early. Which happens annually. To be more specific, a couple buzzer beaters, courtesy of irrelevant road teams at the expense of a couple Top 10 15 teams. Doesn’t help that both games featured the top rivals facing each other! Miami’s loss changes nothing, and Florida State will still have to win the ACC Tournament in order to go dancing. Arizona’s loss maybe could bump them to 3 with others below taking advantage of the upset. Arizona State probably still has to win the Pac 12 tourney, but they’re in a better spot than FSU (I think). We’ll see if they get votes, jump others, and enter a first/next four out spot. They’re a 20-win team that’s fourth in their conference ETA: Miami actually is outside of the AP Top 10. Virginia from the same conference is (at least until Monday). UVA lost as well (to UNC) though on the road against a bubble team & by way more than one point

And so it has begun (gave my own two cents below) after Passan's post... One more thought.... To add to the above, at least it's happening during spring training, but man, this is not cool

You wanna feel old? The following may or may not get the job done, but if you use the number 34 and count backwards in terms of years, you'll get a man who owns a team worth $7,640,000,000 after a purchase of the same team that was between $100 Million and $200 Million on the number

I guess if Aaron is following Packers QB tradition: if it's on point, his retirement is really close. As for Eric Bienemy, while I still think he would've been better off in KC over Washington, I would support a move to Washington before Carolina or Philadelphia. With about a dozen teams in the league led by defensive coaches at HC, it would make sense for his decision. No one would give him credit in Philly or Carolina with offensive HC. As for Eric's replacement. It is next man up, as Matt Nagy has returned to his spot as the KC OC. And speaking of returns, back to Denver for Vance Joseph. Might be odd to return to a team where you had a higher position, but it's a new ownership group and a proven HC in Sean Payton

I agree he should not be there, but I think I'd be annoyed if he got pulled right before the postseason. If he's lasted this long, I don't think they can get him out barring something significant that could turn up around a month from now if not sooner. I guess they feel they can wait until after the season ends as this might be a situation that might not be resolved for some time. The reason why I'd be unhappy is because others would suffer. However, and IMO, that's on the school for not sitting him indefinitely to avoid distraction. Nobody's better than the sport. There was a case against a PITT player that I think was resolved, but there was just too much to take a chance, and the AD & company were all like, "Nope. No chance you're playing right now."

Just wait until they have to move the All-Star game a week before the Super Bowl!
-
You know it's sad when the players put more effort toward their summer league (during the offseason) than the NBA All-Star game, as mentioned by SAS. Plus, don't schedule a game on Sunday nights post Super Bowl

The injuries each of the past two seasons are a fact, but that's where it ends, period. Jackson has never been hurt throughout his career even with his game. This goes back to college and HS and beyond. The time he missed was due to clinching the Top seed in 2019 and for testing positive in 2020. The injuries started to play out each of the past 2 years because his game & the offense are structured in a way where he's at risk. The Ravens are terrible without Lamar. That is a fact; they are a different team. That's the leverage. However, Baltimore has a point (or two) for not paying him like Watson. With the old OC out and a new one in, the 2019 AFC North champions can be better. I think it's a fair deal since the cases can go both ways. If they run the offense like they have in the past under Greg Roman, they are in trouble. However, they need to update it to add more threats & other key players to succeed

I can't blame any party here. It was smart for Eric to bolt from Kansas City, and it would not have made any sense for Andy Reid to forgo running the offense. Meanwhile, there are people in Pittsburgh that are mad that the Steelers didn't try to go after Eric B. Like Ron Rivera, Mike Tomlin, another defensive coach, is respected throughout the league. What's different between Ron and Mike is that Tomlin will take over the offensive side of the game as opposed to letting someone do what they do. So while Washington's culture isn't as great as Pittsburgh, the chance is there for success. Especially if a new ownership group takes over. I do get the thing in Pittsburgh since Flores went there, which helped get him back on the map toward a chance or another chance. It would've been a demotion as a Steelers offensive assistant. Not a Washington fan, but I do hope it works out down there

While I'm not going to say it was the best dunk contest ever, I'm glad to see Mac win it. I was pretty much "warned" by Jason McIntyre about the rather decent chances on Friday. Not a bet I'd make in terms of betting the house/my life, but the G-League player totally brought it. Damn, meanwhile won the 3-point contest which wasn't that competitive. The skills segment was more than okay
-
More probable than not. Otherwise they wouldn't have done consecutive one-year deals

Hazing in 2023. There is a saying that people all have to be better. However some people opt out. So, serves people right when discipline follows. Tons of things have consequences, but this is/was an easy one to avoid. Back to college basketball. As in stuff that's directed toward the 2023 National Champion: With Selection Sunday 3 weeks from tomorrow (as of this post), ESPN is pondering the chance of perfect attendance for the Big XII as it relates to the upcoming NCAA Tournament. Speaking of the "dance" CBS is slated to release the Top 16 and possibly the field of 64/68 (if the Selection Show were to be held today instead of 22 days from now). That's in about a couple of hours
-
The biggest wildcard in all of this is a new Washington Commanders ownership group
-
I think it's a combination of both. However, I do think there is a part of both that would be better off staying together for 2023. The Packers are a little more confident in Love than before, whereas people need QBs. I do think the Jets would work. On the other hand, I don't think so due to New York's schedule (they play the AFC West AND the NFC East in addition to Buffalo times 2). IMO, Green Bay will win the division if Rodgers returns. Minnesota probably can't get any better. Though Detroit is decent, they don't have a history of winning when it counts

Someone on one of the sports shows I tune into just asked a question that's on the infamous "Death is not an option" scale. "Which would you rather do: Spend 4 days in darkness with Aaron Rodgers OR record a TikTok video with JuJu everyday for a year?" Well, I guess I can't wait but will have to wait 7 months before the first meaningful game of professional football takes place!
