@peacheslatour: You're a better person than I. Most times I play my simple Solitaire, I must start when a black Ace pops up. Once in a blue moon I'll start a game if a red ace pops up but they usually are an omen to me that things will not go well. So, I guess...I cheat 😏

When I got a new phone and tried to set up my Solitaire site (via Chrome), I kept getting the wrong Solitaire--until *finally* this one worked. It was a real PITA & I went through this nonsense twice cause my first new phone died thanks to malware. I just kept workin' that url until the "right" Solitaire popped up.

I use classic-solitaire.com. It's just the basic solitaire which is what I prefer.

They have a Facebook site (I think it's run by Ryan's dad) that is interesting. Loads of devoted fans. They tell you sometimes when the group is going to be at various festivals, parades and show photos of them with visiting fans at the store..

Certain cable TV news spending almost 99% of their airtime covering a sports celeb's car accident. I continue to be dumbfounded.

I would love to see Michael Symon & Cat Cora replace this crew (altho' I really like Alex & don't see the smugness--I like her comments & believe they're probably helpful to beginner cooks). Aartie is ok. Have no idea who the others are. I recall Symon as a guest on Barefoot Contessa a few years ago. It was, IMO, one of her best shows ever. They were hilarious together.

I looked closely at him today and his hands didn't look like they were a diff color (+ he didn't look orange). Maybe I need to watch on our new TV next Saturday🧐

I watched the two Iron Chefs but skipped the others. The piccata looked so good--it was interesting that Alex used so much extra zest. I've never breaded piccata but I have made something like this (& called it chicken schnitzel or chicken Milano). GZ's pasta looked very good. I love pancetta in this dish... doesn't have that smoke flavor (like from bacon). I can't recall seeing him squirt a bit of lemon juice onto it but I've done this & it's good.

I made Swedish meatballs and a potato dish called Jansson's Temptation (potatoes, onions, a few tiny pieces of anchovy, & cream).

Geez, I find him weird. Just say what the others say, "We're going to take a quick break--don't go away".

Making someone, esp a child, sit on the ice, is cruel. I hope he's no longer coaching. What a lowlife. Poor Karen Kwan. I bet he was a nasty husband.

I'm dumbfounded. He sounds mentally ill. Biting? Throwing coffee? And the Kwans let him keep his job at their rink?
