  1. The name of the series finale is It Went By So Fast. Ain't that the truth. I love this show so much and I will miss it even more. I had almost no complaints about it and the few I did have, when compared to other Arrowverse shows, were just passing annoyances rather than major story or character problems. From start to finish it was a family show with powers rather than the other way around and that made it the best of the Arrowverse shows. We open on Lana and Irons on a bar date. Good choice. I suspect Lana is kicking his ass. Sarah doesn't have to pay for airfare so at least you saved some money there. I love angry Lois. Rip Amanda a new one! Frog and Toad kick Dooms away from Dad. That was cute and the CGI made it look ever so slightly goofy which I enjoy. I think Lana can heal Irons with just her stubbornness. Apparently the boys new Super Saying is "Fraternals". I love it when this show is silly. Nice sequence of the boys splitting off, Clark watching Dooms go by, and Irons hammer knocking it the fuck out. That was cool. Lex is the Final Bad so I assume, at most, Dooms will come back seconds before Clark throws him into the Sun. That or he throws him in no problem and being that close to the Sun will give him a major power boost. Then he comes back to deal with Lex for good. There's no getting around how goofy Doomsday looks but Clark carrying him to the Sun looked really cool. Hee, Irons is going after Brainiac to get revenge for taking his suit. Go Steel go! Looks like Bizarro has returned to his body and accepts his death. Bye Dooms! Bye Biz! Brainiac stopping Lois from broadcasting while Lex goes after the boys. Clark you better get back asap. But soak up those rays first! Then kick Lex's ass! The sun healed his hearing! Just fly to the sun Clark and get some more of those rays. Jordan saved Jon but I can't tell how. Did he blow him up like Lex did with Bizarro? Doesn't really matter because the boys are both alive. Brainiac isn't so tough when he's not by his computers now is he? Clark revealing his identity means he wears his wedding ring when doing his superheroing and I love that. The nice thing about Lex stealing the suit is Clark gets to freely kick his ass without worrying about his health. And then he immediately saves Lex when the suit is gone. That's Superman. Episode is half over and Doomsday is dead and Lex defeated. I'm scared to hope we get a lot of quiet family time to close out the show. Quiet family time would be an AMAZING way to end the show, and completely in line with how this series has been, but superhero shows don't like to do that in their finales. Maybe five or ten minutes of it but otherwise it's action all the way. A year later? Nice. Looks like Lana's marrying John Henry at the Kent Farm. I really hope they turned it into an events venue in the last year given how often they've hosted. I love Lana's dress. Not wild about those glove things but they're still pretty. Hi Sophie! Blink and you'll miss it cameo. Chrissy's pregnant AGAIN?? Nice scenes with Lana and Kyle. They pulled off being sweet and bittersweet which is hard to do. Hee, Sarah's convinced the barn is cursed. Ok, sure, but it's also the only place to have a party in this town so go have fun kid. We didn't get to see it, for which I blame the season 4 budget, but I hope Nat and Lana have a good step relationship. Nat's almost an adult but I think she'd love to have a second mother to lean on from time to time and we know Lana would love that too. Lex is in prison for life. And expects the same accommodations and string pulling as last time but it looks like it's not working this time around. HA! Bruno's running this show and Lex is now regretting ever decision he ever made that led him to the moment. Enjoy your new career as a chair Lex. So Clark lived 32 more years. And Clark got himself a Super Team during that time. Don't know how I feel about new actors for the boys adult versions but I guess it's for the grandkids. And is that David Giuntoli playing Adult Jon??? Stupid cancer coming back and taking Lois from us. The show's first episode had the death of Martha so I guess bookending with the death of Lois makes sense. Aw, Clark managed to get Krypto after all. Clark's heart starting to give out in the same place as his dad is another understandable bookend. Ok, the show is going hard at the emotional stuff and it's working (on me). It's so Superman for him to find the positive in dying. Goodbye show. You were the best from start to finish.
  2. There's a kids menu item named after Jordan so of course he gets a complex about it. Jordan, call your therapist and work on your need for fame. Ok Jordan's curly fries in that bucket are hilarious and totally looks like him. I like how Supes is working Lex with regard to Amanda's influence. If he can plant the seed correctly Lex will get suspicious and turn on her. Clark's eternal dorkyness helping Lois calm down and focus is his greatest power. If Amanda has any ulterior motives where Lex is concerned becoming the second largest shareholder should help her along. Training at the Fortress! I love a good montage. I think the issue here is the boys are approaching head on as if their fights will always be straightforward. They need to start thinking of the many paths their adversaries may take and plan as much as they can. Well hey there Bruno. Hope you have some legitimate dirt on Lex so Lois can win. I guess if Lois takes Lex out for good Amanda's in a position to take his company from him in response even if she's not intending to do that now. Shame there's only one episode left after tonight. I would love to see Milton put on the suit and go full Brainiac but that would require more time. I will laugh so hard if Doomsday has managed to return to his Bizarro state. Lex wouldn't know what to do. Logically at least one of these guards should be on Lex's payroll but I think we're supposed to assume Bruno managed to get locked up in a prison with his own people. Especially given Bruno's "I take care of my people while Lex only looks out for himself" comment. This is not important but the way Jordan's hair is styled I can't tell if it's to match the curly fries or if it's a wig. Given her expressions I think Amanda has been genuine in being up Lex's ass so I'm curious if she'll turn on him or just wait for her moment. The boys are teasing Clark. Everything is ok. Their greatest strength is being twins. It's how it should be and it fits the show we've been watching this whole time. Looks like Lois got to Amanda after all. And she has a line in the sand with regard to Lex using Doomsday to level Smallville. Interesting. I LOVE watching Clark easily handle the boys in training. I would watch an entire season of this. Aw Dooms is trying to go home. This time don't kill Supes and just leave instead. Lex would hate that. I hope they get Luthor Corp to pay to repair the town when the fight's over.
  3. Knowing the Oscar voters they'll nominate Part 1 for only a few categories or they'll nominate generously but not grant any wins on the grounds they know a Part 2 is coming and won't want to reward it too early. This is the excuse some voters gave for waiting to award Lord of the Rings until Return of the King. Oscar voters choose some of the stupidest reasons to not vote so anything's possible. Right now the best bet is it wins big at the Golden Globes and hope that gives it momentum for SAG and Oscars. Even the Globes aren't a guarantee as those awards are bought and paid for. For what it's worth my copy of the cast album has Glnda saying "at school" but I've never seen it on stage so it's possible the Broadway, touring, and/or local productions have changed the line.
  4. I've gotten to the Cassidy episodes and the whole Detective Beauty Queen insult/nickname would make way more sense if she was shown to care about that stuff. The actor they hired is attractive but, other than keeping her hair down, looks like a normal woman cop. If they'd made her up to look like Carrie Underwood, Christina Aguilera, or Kim Kardashian (in other words: three feet of makeup, designer clothes, and not a hair out of place) then the nickname would make sense. Instead it seemed like the nickname, and subsequent derision, was purely because she was a woman. As there was no follow through about sexism in the NYPD I think it was just another reason the show wasn't very good after the first ten years.
  5. I expressed my concerns about Ariana upthread and I'm happy to say they are no more. She was great, Cynthia was great, Michelle was great, Jonathan was great, Jeff was great, everyone was great!, and the movie was far more colorful than I expected. I'm still annoyed we have to wait a year for Part 2 but I'm looking forward to it.
  6. I've been watching the earliest available seasons of Law & Order on Peacock* and I think the deeply hated Serena and Borgia are perfectly fine characters. L&O started dipping in quality around the ten year anniversary and that's my issue rather than the characters. It's also why I think the Claire Kincaid years are so beloved. Not because Claire herself was so far above the other second chair ADAs but because the material she had was far above what was given to the subsequent characters. *They finally got Homicide available to stream so we need NBC to get with the game and give us Ben Stone, Claire Kincaid, and Lenny's early years as well.
  7. I definitely prefer this Lex with facial hair. It's very Teenage Boy for the twins to be excited about Jamie Kennedy but...really? I enjoyed him in Scream but that's it. Nat should be a kid not a weapons manufacturer. Tom Cavanaugh is the tv reporter talking to Lex. I assume the show name Godfrey is his name but I've decided he's Thawne. Honey I Shrunk The Slaughter Cabin? I'll go see that glorious train wreck of a movie with the kids. Aw the boys are learning the ugly side of fame. "Why are you doing this?" Thank you Lex. I have no idea why she's up your ass so I'm glad you're wondering the same. Otis is dead? Honestly while I'm sure it was Luthor I can also believe Otis killing himself rather than testifying. His devotion to Lex is legendary. Is Lex having an anxiety attack? Wouldn't it be wild if Amanda was secretly working for Brainiac this whole time? Not enough episodes left in the series for it to happen but it would be a cool twist. If Clark's not going to be Superman one day it makes me wonder: will his first heart turn out to be in tact like so many have speculated or will he accept his fate and train the boys to take over before that fateful day? Of course Lex was filming the fight with Clark. Jon, hon, if Candice wants to break up you have to accept it. Don't do that "look me in the eye and tell me you don't love me" nonsense. It worked but I don't care. Ah so this was about getting the suit. The computer graphics did look a bit Brainiac so I'll take that as a win. Ok the suit taking over Irons was creepy as fuck. Well done show. The boys destroyed Nat's suit. Teamwork! I wonder if regular treatments in that bathtub at the Fortress can keep Lane's heart juiced enough so Clark can keep his powers if only for defensive purposes. So Lex does in tend on wearing the suit. Get training everyone.

  9. I was fully lecturing Candice via the tv when her dad was confronting Clark so I'm thrilled Jon's faith in her was justified. It would be so hard to keep that secret and she held firm.
  10. "I will simply deny you the crown and live...forever..."
  11. Aw we get a Clark VoiceOver a flashback montage. Clark should set up some Police Box type things around town so he can suit up and fly out without anyone watching. Lois is putting together a crib (badly) and is salty about it. Annoyed Lois is funny. I hope Kyle and Chrissy get the house BUT I'm sure they could find a nicer apartment if it doesn't work out. Coach being Team Kent is funny but he should apply that good humor to all of his players. JIMMY OLSEN!!! I can't remember if he's been referenced before but, if he's still alive in the present, I want him to show up for...something. I don't care what just bring him on. The douche football player is the only person, so far, I would say it's important to convince Clark and the twins have no powers. The rest of the people so far seem fine keeping quiet aside from the occasional wink and 'super' comment. I'm of two minds on Chrissy selling her half of the Gazette for the house. On the one hand she wants what she thinks is best for her new family and that's important. On the other hand: WHAT WILL SHE BE DOING FOR WORK?? Even if they buy the house upfront rather than get a loan they'll still have to pay taxes and I promise Kyle doesn't make enough for that. If Chrissy really wants the house this bad then she should ask her parents for financial help and KEEP HER JOB. If she already had a new job lined up following the sale of the Gazette then sure go do whatever but she said nothing. I like Angry Clark. I think a big part of this is he never had to navigate this many people knowing about Superman AND he was't in control of them finding out. Hey douche Tim's mom is the only person in Smallville who doesn't know about the powers. I love how comic bullies, in the event they find out about Our Hero's Secret Identity, won't suddenly realize they'd been awful to someone who could literally punch their head off but will double down. Yes, the Kents won't do that but they have a ability. Douche Tim's friends did seem to consider this but they must not have explained it to him properly. Jimmy's getting a major part of the flashbacks so I'm scared he's dead. A part of me thought Lane's heart would make him a smidge sucseptible to bullets. Like it would scratch him, he'd bleed enough to convince Emmett, and then heal quickly. But him choosing to formally reveal Superman ended up being poignant. Of course Lex was behind Emmett finding out. At least Candace can keep a secret. He knows the boys will be on board but still does a family meeting to discuss telling the world. Never change Clark. Ephraim is in this episode??? Does that mean Gregory directed? I love Clark's interview/speech. Keep the glasses. They're an accessory like a watch or baseball cap. They can be how you let people know you're in Clark mode rather than Superman mode. Jimmy's alive!!
  12. It just occurred to me that my new friend AMAZING WIG may not be seen again and I'm sad. Meanwhile Lex is having a tantrum. Oh, good, he's burning Liz's picture. That's healthy. There's something about how the CW does those banana curls that makes even the healthiest hair look dry. I like Jon annoying Jordan with his super speed. I think this will be good for him and their relationship. But, yes, Jon does need to slow down. Hee, Clark's gong a bit gray and now he's having a (minor) complex. THEORY TIME! I think having Lane's heart will give Clark a more human lifespan. I think he'll get most/all of his powers back but will also be able to grow old with Lois rather than stay physically young long after her natural death. Amanda's all in with Lex but even she's having a hard time selling Smallville as the new headquarters for the League of Doom or whatever he's planning. Denise being nervous around Clark is cute. And he bought hair dye, hee. "You know you can breathe right?" I like when powers are treated with humor. To be fair, hero-ing has to appetite stimulating. Of course Coach no longer hates Jon now that he knows about his powers. And the woman whose property Lex wants to buy knows about Clark as well. Is there anyone in town who doesn't? Did the people who watched Dooms kill Superman do that thing where they turn to a family member/friend/neighbor and say "you have to PROMISE not to tell but..." and thus everyone knew in an hour? Small towns are a great place for gossip to spread quickly. Ok so Frog Boy was chasing an ego boost while Toad Boy is chasing an adrenaline high. They each need to go to the fortress for weekly therapy sessions. I'll be honest and say I'd probably take the money Lex was offering so I'm impressed seeing Aidy and the others stand firm against him. Of course, knowing Lex, he'll find another way to get the land and it'll probably be bloodier but we'll enjoy the moment. Being an exchange student is a good idea. Jon and/or Jordan could fly Sarah wherever she gets accepted so they'd save on airfare. I love storm footage but my brain instantly starts wondering if Lex caused it and his big revenge is sending a tornado to destroy all the Smallville properties. Or he'll send Otis to kill Lana and Sarah. I said this back in season 1 but I'm so happy they wrote Lois and Lana as friends. They could have done the typical CW bullshit but instead wrote such a good friendship that Lana calling the Kents for help and Lois offering comfort is the most natural thing. Oh, Lex. Yes, turning on red sun lights removes Clark's powers but it just means he's willing to put his weight behind that punch. With his powers he'd hold back so as not to kill you. He doesn't have his powers but he still knows how to throw down. Clark feels bad about the fight because he's a good person. That's why he's Superman. So is Amanda his wife? Girlfriend? Biggest fan? I don't get why she's so far up Lex's ass.
  13. Yep it's labor laws. It's also why producers and directors love twins so much. Children are allowed to work for only so long each day but so many shows and movies film for longer than that time period. If you hire twins you can keep going when the first twin has reached the legal limit for that day of filming. For teenage roles you just hire adults and then you can film as long as you want.
  14. I wonder where the Perfect Mom Joyce thing came from because the show did a good job of presenting her as very much not that in the first two seasons. She loved Buffy and wanted her to have a good life but she also left Buffy alone a lot due to her job. Leaving Buffy alone worked for dealing with demons and not having to worry about her mom (until the plot required it) but it also showed her not having a great support system for the non-Slayer parts of her life. Joyce cared about whether Buffy was doing well in school but also made no effort to make sure she was actually doing the work to get good grades (to be fair, this is a trait every tv parent shares). The biggest example of Joyce not being a Perfect Mom was her finally learning about demons and Buffy being the Slayer and reacting to it by throwing her out of the house. In the first two seasons the show was aware of Joyce's failings and used that for characterization and story progression but that went away starting in season 3. Season 3 is also when Buffy's dad, who was like Joyce in that he loved her but had his own parental failings, went from long distance father to full on doesn't care about his daughter abandoner so I wonder if there was a connection. Anyway, Joyce throwing Buffy out of the house could have led to a really interesting story. How does a parent come back from that kind of action? Can they have a relationship again and what would that look like? The show loved playing with demons as metaphors (high school is Hell being the main one) so it's not like it wouldn't have fit the premise. Joyce finding out about Buffy and demons was intentionally presented as a Coming Out metaphor but the fallout was mainly about how Joyce Feels Bad and the Scoobies' anger at Buffy abandoning them. Buffy's feelings were mostly centered on her trauma and guilt over killing Angel and less on her guilt over Willow's attack, Giles' torture, and how completely alone she was when she struck that killing blow. Joyce was shown to regret her action but she also made no move to find Buffy and apologize. When she woke up the next morning and found Buffy had come back only to get some things she was upset but, again, just sat there upset rather than take action to find her. She was very passive in all of this and then it got swept under the rug. My UO related to Buffy leaving Sunnydale and then returning is I'd rather the show not have done the episode where everyone confronts each other if they weren't going to do it right. If they weren't going to do a real fallout to the season 2 finale, which should have been over the course of the season, then that should have been it. In the house party episode Buffy hears Joyce say she wished she hadn't come back yet Buffy is the bad guy for taking her at her word. Joyce is never in a position to explain herself and instead is allowed to get angry at Buffy for running away and then intending to do it again. The Scoobies are allowed to get angry at Buffy for running away but not allowed to actually ask what she was going through emotionally. Everyone fixated on Xander's "kick his ass" line, which I understand, but the bigger question for me is: did any of the Scoobies find out Joyce had kicked Buffy out of the house after learning she was the Slayer? I think Giles knew but I don't think the others did and that's a big piece of information they're missing. I hate that episode so I don't rewatch unless absolutely necessary so they all may have known and just taken Joyce's side (which would be worse). The episode where Giles keeps asking Buffy for every detail of fighting and killing Angel so he can do a binding spell only to reveal to Willow there was never a spell was exactly how the season should have handled the fallout from season 2 finale. He knew Buffy was leaving something out about killing Angel, knew that detail was the last straw for her emotionally, and knew she needed to unburden herself but wouldn't if directly asked so he found a way to get her to open up. Imagine a season 3 with little moments like this sprinkled throughout. Instead Buffy was the bad guy, Joyce got away with being a bad mom, and the only fallout was centered on Angel. Missed opportunities all over the place.
  15. Flashback alert!!! Are we getting the AMAZING WIG??? WE'RE GETTING THE AMAZING WIG!!!! NOW GO EAT CLEVELAND!!! No surprise Lex is a shit husband and father. I bet he hired the AMAZING WIG to kill his wife. Lex looked to be more upset at someone thinking he was a shit father than the fact he was one. Which tracks. I love how casually comic book characters can say "he killed you" and it's just one of many facts about the subject of the conversation. I missed this character's name but she's already got the compassionate hero thing down better than Frog Boy. Hire her for Hero Lessons and then you'll get it right. I would love a movie told exclusively from the point of view of the people you know are watching Supes and Lex from those houses along the road. Lex hired the AMAZING WIG to be his lawyer. AMAZING WIG isn't bad, having convinced Lex to let his ex have whatever property she wants but is falling short on the custody dispute. I hope Candace and Jordan end up forging a nice friendship like Jon and Sarah have. Lex Luthor's daughter is Simmons from Agents of SHIELD. Let's go full DC/Marvel crossover cause I want to see the look on Lex's face when she tells him about her time on an alien planet. Jordan in "trying to come up with believable bullshit" while Jon flies Lois around is pretty fun. They should have been doing this all along. Ah now the AMAZING WIG is giving therapy a try. Lex you're telling Elizabeth she's the one good thing he's done in the flashbacks yet you object to her viewing you as a monster in the present. Your own words support her perception. Black market puppies? Jordan should NEVER have been Frog Boy. He should only have been the one to come up with cover stories. The more absurd the better. Elizabeth is a doctor? I'm telling you this is a DC/Marvel crossover. Lex you had private investigators following your own daughter like a bunch of creepers? Of course. I appreciate Clark and Lois showing compassion to Lex regarding Elizabeth but she doesn't want a monster for a father and that should be that. Elizabeth wants him to take responsibility for his actions and he can't/won't do it. That's the key here not how upset he was when Lane helped her hide. I feel for child Lex but that doesn't excuse the crimes of adult Lex. Of course Lois decides to call Doomsday without telling anyone. Would she have done anything else? Good on Elizabeth for issuing the ultimatum and following through. Lex would never choose her. He will always choose himself, this time in the form of revenge. Lois and Clark really need to talk to the twins about what they need to tell people so they don't go around blabbing just because someone's mad at them. Lois defeats Doomsday with only her words. Absolute superhero. The image was muddled at the end. Did Dooms kill himself?
  16. The actor is in her thirties so I assume Chrissy's the same age. Which then makes her mom's snide remark about Chrissy and Sarah being almost the same age even stupider. Chrissy's in her thirties and Kyle's in his forties. This is hardly an inappropriate age gap for a couple to have. Her mom had real and understandable concerns about how quickly they were getting married but it's like she wanted to approach it in all the wrong ways.
  17. Smoochies and a family hug. Welcome home Clark. I like how he has a scar. He could have instantly healed without a sign but it's a physical reminder of what Lane gave him. I know Lex thinks he's permanently killed Superman but you'd think he'd want to monitor Frog Boy as he's proven his recklessness. I think Kyle and Chrissy came out of left field and don't fully buy them working without her pregnancy but the actors have established a nice rapport so I'm ok with it. Clark geeking out over Jon's Star Wars reference was great. I like the father/Jon bonding while training. See, Clark? Even if you're ultimately back to your old self you did just get a heart transplant and even Superman needs time to recover. My favorite Superman related thing of all time is how intimidated he gets when Lois gives him A Look. It's always so much fun. Clark's feeling the wine for the first time in his life. I hadn't considered that. I officially want him to fully heal and get back to normal EXCEPT for the feeling the effects of alcohol thing. Seeing Clark Kent say things "that really sucks" was fun and should continue. If Clark needs some easy I'm sure he could easily rent out the barn and grounds for events. I love Kyle's instant judgement/concern over Clark having indoor grills but it seems to be working out fine. I have to agree with Coach here, Kyle. Do not ruin your wedding with Blink 182. DO NOT. They are appropriate for 90s Nostalgia Night and that's it. Chrissy's running. I knew it. Her mom's concern about motives are understandable but she is not expressing herself well at all. And Chrissy's dad giving a bullshit excuse rather than attending? Do Chrissy's parents even like her? I fully expect her to go through with the wedding and I can only assume it's after telling her mother to shove it. Cleo has decided to watch the show with me and her chosen spot is, of course, on my chest right in front of my face. If I suddenly have a bunch of typos that's why. I will say, Kyle, if you proposed because you missed the feeling of having a family again then you should definitely wait before getting married. Ah, so Chrissy's parents got married because of pregnancy so they're assuming it's the same situation and, rather than just provide their own point of view, decided to be jerks. Even though it's not a super suit the hoodie looks way more natural than the Frog Boy getup. Lex's enforcers better not hurt Jon! Protective Papa overrules whatever effects there are of Lane's heart. SIGH. It's a nice gesture from Jordan but let's not with the amphibian gear. I love the Frog and Toad stories but that doesn't mean I want Jordan and Jon to emulate them. Hang on, has Sophie always been taller than Sarah or did that just happen this season?
  18. If Superman is dead in the present (until the final stretch of course) while we get flashbacks to important moments in Clark and Lois' life then I tip my hat to the show. I love how terrified Clark was to tell Lane he's Superman, hee. And HA! at simply taking off the glasses being all that's needed for Lane to finally see it. Uh oh, Jonathan is pissed at Jordan. Here's years of pent up aggression that apparently leads to powers? Sure I'm down. Maybe this will lead to twin bonding and Jordan supporting Jon for once. Hee, Jon perfected his powers already. It's the natural athlete in him I think. OF COURSE Jordan sulks because Jon takes to his powers right away. Sigh, Jordan this all ties back into the problems with you being Frog Boy. You want the accolades with being a superhero and you want to be the only one other than Clark to do it because you feel special. At no point are you focused on helping people and doing good. If you were you'd be delighted Jon has powers and has taken to them so quickly because it means another person to help and do good. Given Jordan's sulking I fully expect Lex to reveal Lois chose to save Jon last episode and won't see it was because of his (then) lack of powers. A negative reaction will be understandable but Jordan will no doubt take it far beyond that. Of course Lane was opposed to Clark proposing. Kinda wish Lane's reaction was something along the lines of "Lois doesn't believe in asking the father's permission" but it's in Clark's personality so it's no big deal. Since we're doing flashbacks any chance we'll get to see Lex's AMAZING WIG again? I want to see it eat Cleveland. Frog Boy, Lex. HIS NAME IS FROG BOY GET IT RIGHT. Here we go! Lex revealing Lois picked Jon and Jordan's going to let it feed his insecurities. I bet the phone is bugged too so Lex will be listening when Jordan confronts Lois. I hope Lane doesn't inject himself with the serum. It'd be a way to write Dylan off the show while technically keeping the character around but I want it to be used to attempt tot bring Clark back. Frog Boy would be a great villain and one of Superman's sons going bad would be an interesting story but it's the final season so not likely. Lane gets shot, injects himself to save his life, and waits for Doomsday. Guess he's going to die after all. I hate that Lois had to watch Lane die too but he went out like a badass. Not that I want to see this but sending Doomsday after Lois may have actually worked while Lane's career means he's always known he could be killed and probably made peace with that reality decades ago. Nice twist how the opening funeral is really for Lane not Clark. Where does the average person think Clark is? Just hanging around the farmhouse? Welcome back Clark. Hope your body doesn't reject the heart.
