  1. True. I'll also add that the U.S. government has violated their own code by printing the flag on liberty & war Bond posters, recruitment posters, U.S. postage stamps, and foreign aid boxes.
  2. I don't see anything wrong with it. I would. I'm proud to be an American. I also don't mind it when visitors proudly wear clothing with their countries symbols and flags. They should be proud of where they come from. It's an opportunity to engage, connect, learn about each other & make friends.
  3. Not a fan of Brooke but I have no problem if this breakup with her actually hurts him. I hope he was invested in her and loved her. The asshole needs a reference point on what it feels like to have someone manipulate and disregard a person's feelings. He was a dick last season playing those girls off each other and playing with their emotions,he loved it when they were at odds with each other or hurt & crying over him. Brooke gave him a good taste of his own medicine. Hope it hurts long and deep. That being said we have only heard one side is this. We know how much of a dick he can be so what was his part?
  4. I would gladly give you my extra cheese. The Costco combo is sausage, pepperoni, onion, bell pepper, and mushroom. I like everything but the pepperoni. When ordering elsewhere I'm one of the weirdos that will order heavier on the sauce with a light sprinkling of cheese, a ton of toppings... double sausage, ricotta, olives, mushroom, onion, bell pepper, roasted grape tomatoes, salt and fresh italian herb seasoning, well done. It's what I like. I'm game to eat any pizza but I will pick stuff off and too much cheese off and give it to those who enjoy it more than I would.
  5. We're in the middle of "June gloom", so it's been overcast and cool. So tonight it's grilled lamb steaks, couscous with apricots and almonds, grilled asparagus. Warm baked custard for dessert.
  6. I know but I was covering both. What you suggested would have been wonderful. I'll forgive Anastasia for not thinking of something like that as she was not hired to do that job but asked to step in. She went with something she knew she could do successfully with her skill set. I'm surprised that Hannah didn't suggest something to Anastasia along those lines. She was unable to guide and inspire her unlike Kate who was able to do that with Matt. Kate was able to elevate his menu choices.
  7. Sandy doesn't do those under her command any favors by inspirationally lying to someone when it's obvious to one and all that a person can't do their job. She's doing Mila and the rest of the crew and the guests a disservice. Blowing affirmational smoke up Mila's ass isn't going to make her a better cook. Mila in return is giving Sandy only what's Sandy loves and wants to hear and Sandy is lapping it up like she always does. Mila is a shitty cook, full stop, but Sandy is a shitty captain and the fault for bad food is now on her.
  8. Mila would have to first know how to cook. Where would she find canned lobster and scallops to steam and sear much less rice-a-roni. I'll cut Anastasia slack. She was hired expecting to be a third stew not a chef.
  9. I'd go with you, order a slice of combo. Wanna share a churo?
  10. "Lawn warts" Ooooohh I'm gonna use that! 😄
  11. I'm a combo pizza slice girl myself even though I have to pick off the pepperoni to my husband's delight. The stupidest thing they did in my area was taking the polish dog off the menu. I didn't like the polish dogs but hubby sure did.
  12. Do we really want to use the word restaurant with what we've seen so far? Homeless kitchens take more care with their food than what we've been shown on this bougie barge.
  13. Sandy should be blamed and should have fired Mila after the first charter. Period. She should have said. "Cook for me, two dishes, right now, you have 30 minutes." If the Vomiting Vladimir Lover can't think on the fly and the food wasn't absolutely spectacular fire her. After seeing the lazy tacos and nachos Sandy should have been checking every meal to see what was going on. She knows it's not right and didn't need Hannah to tell her. She saw the half assed effort herself. The Chef isn't a position like the deck crew where the captain can give them a "rah rah you can do it, one more chance" speech and they can learn as they go not affecting the guest experience in a major way for the most part. Below Deck Med is really slipping down into the "I really don't need to watch this" rankings. While I'm always interested in seeing the original BD this has always been 2nd rate and this season it's slipped even lower.
  14. Sorry Whitney, Justin Bieber actually had a real music career.
  15. For the first time I felt quite pissy towards Michael. If he Patricia regularly go to McDonald's, and I believe they do, when they order her "usual" they would know McDs puts ketchup on their cheese burgers. So why say "no tomato" and when told "it doesn't come with tomato..." at the end he corrects the hardworking employee " No ketchup please, that's a tomato." Asshole! Just say "no ketchup!" in the first place Michael if it's your "usual" fucking order . Then "A paper napkin!?!" from Pat. Bitch please. All I thought was "Pompous fake filler bullshit!"
  16. Mmm... Rewatching this and then wanting to learn more about Peter Tunney I came across this article from 2004 that mentions. "He smoked Cuban cigars with Kid Rock. Kid bought a sign reading “Life Is Good” for $1,000 in cash. Someone else bought a five-foot stop sign with the words “Don’t Stop Ever” for $7,500. “Fuck Yoga” went for $1,500." Guess Bethany wasn't the first. Even if hers was a $10,000 (including shipping and handling) original from his personal collection. It wasn't much more than the one sold in 2004. https://www.google.com/amp/s/observer.com/2004/12/the-prisoner-of-crobar/amp/
  17. Just getting a chance now to see the episode. Too much Amazon Prime. Luann. Not worth my time. I fast forwarded. Tired of Bethany and her histrionics every damn season. It's getting old. I'm with Ramona when it comes to the Puppy Popsicle Thaw Party. Just no.
  18. I can't understand a damn thing Jack says.
  19. I'm not a baby person. I wasn't raised around them. I've never changed a diaper, never made a bottle and fed one. I'm nervous about holding them. I'm curious and I coo and engage them, but I don't fall all over my self when one is in my presence. I don't have children but I really did want them until the last 5 years. I think I would have learned to be a great mom and know my way around diapers and tantrums.i That being said, give 'em to me at 3, 4 and 5+ years old and I can handle them with the best of them. I'm you're girl.
  20. I'd bet your 7 year old's pancakes were round too and not globs of misshapen batter. It smells fishy. I causes me to wonder if the producers overplayed their hand. They have been banking on us wanting to see passengers receiving really shitty service in a luxurious setting and they are misreading the audience and the balance that we find entertaining. Season 1 of Below Deck you had crew who were competent for the most part and the focus was more on their conflicting personalities and one or two with a lack of work ethic. Now we get people like Caroline Bedol, Kasey, Alaska Face Sierra, Andrew and several others every season. People who obviously can't do their job & from the get go they're wack jobs. People you would realize are a no go if you spent more than 10 minutes with them and checked their background. A fuck up showing up every season is getting tedious and doesn't ring true. I'm surprised that they can still get guests who are willing to spend that much money AND put up with shitty service. I think that's also why we see repeat passengers. They are trying to fill out a season and can't get the charters. So the passengers are another producer plant.
  21. Yes, I would agree. I never saw the movie. My step daughter shouted "No!" when we were looking for something to watchand came across it on Netflix. She explained what it was about. Nope, not for me.
  22. LVP did stink up the show. Quite malodorous that one. Truly a stinking, moldering rose.
  23. I just hope the guests are getting some of their money back from this show. I know they are aware that it is a TV show and they signed something but they shouldn't be paying even 40% of the cost and be served slop. It's wrong to do, even more so if it is a producer set up.
  24. Sneak peak of next week. https://people.com/food/below-deck-mediterranean-clip-chef-mila-pancakes/amp/
