I'm guessing Shirin gets it. She uses it to blindside Carolyn, and takes Rodney's alliance down to 3. Shirin can be seen as the perfect goat, as no one likes her that much, and if she helps to overthrow Rodney's group, they'll have less reason to like her. Tyler and Rodney will flock over to Mike's group, Jenn and Will are the next two to go as the last remaining NC. Tyler could go on an immunity run, sparing him and costing Rodney. Sierra gets booted for being too likable. Tyler could win the last immunity at the final 4, and Dan gets booted, leaving a final 3 of Mike, Shirin, and Dan. It's possible Mike wins that last immunity, and could take the ultimate goat in Dan to the final 3 getting rid of Shirin. But that's my speculation on how it plays out. Personally, I would love to see Jenn get it because she would be less likely to do it to help anyone out but herself. I see Shirin going to Mike and following his orders on it.

I've only given up on Survivor twice (almost 3 times, if Colton hadn't been taken out of One World). But I did go back and eventually get caught up on the seasons I missed. The past 10 seasons were very hit or miss for me (most of them being a miss), but I was feeling hopeful when BvsW and Cagayan came around. Even though I didn't like SJDS, it is looking better and better each week compared to this one. I miss the death glares someone gave at TC when they were blindsided, or the blow ups back at the camp and people flip flopping around because someone screwed them over. And I would totally love a coconut challenge, Marquesas-style. I can't even say these "blindsides" are blindsides anymore. Edgardo, Ozzy, Alex (Amazon), Kat, Alec, Sarah...those were some good blindsides. I'm close to giving up on this season and catching it at another time. I really think that Probst and company were just doing the usual hype-because-they-have-to. I hope they take note of the complaints about editing this season, and not make it so obvious in the teasers what's going to happen. I do enjoy chatting with everyone, though, so it's another motive to keep going. I used to post on a different forum years ago, but it got to be kind of a drag so I left it. And my inner circle of Survivor fans has gotten smaller and smaller, so it is nice to have some people to discuss the show with. Jenn and Shirin are the only 2 left that I'm rooting for, so I hope something happens to keep them in the game. I think/hope Joe will fare better in another season, though I'm still nervous about it. It would probably benefit him to have more of his own types around: those that are not only seen as likable but also a productive challenge threat to take the heat off of him. For whatever reason even his own alliance wanted him gone, so while I don't think he got into the challenge beast domination territory like Ozzy, no one wanted to take that risk. Ultimately I believe it was coming down to the blues just picking off the remainders of the other tribes, and since NC would be tougher to beat in individual challenges, they started with them. I have a feeling, judging from Joe's interviews about the game he played, he may be far more low key next time. I've been reading spoilers for years for this show, and others. It doesn't ruin my enjoyment at all. I like knowing what is going to happen so I can be prepared for it. When you know someone you really can't stand is about to get served, you look forward to it that much more!

And the big twist is...a second vote at TC, which is bought at the food auction. http://www.ew.com/article/2015/04/17/survivor-exclusive-jeff-probst-reveals-big-new-twist I don't know if this is getting used in this weeks episode, but if so, I feel like Probst hyped more insignificant episodes than he did for this week. Extra vote makes me feel we have officially arrived in Big Brother territory. Since Mike was calm during Rodney's outburst in the promos, I wonder if he's the one who buys it. There was an interview somewhere that I'd have to go find, but Jeff had mentioned Shirin and her changing the course of the game, so maybe it is her. Since they've been sitting on this twist for awhile, was a boring Pagonging inevitable and they needed to shake it up, or was one of the producer pets on the verge of getting voted off so this is their hail mary? Jeff mentioned this twist turning out great. I have a feeling this will prove to be the end for Rodney's alliance. If Shirin gets it and sticks with Mike, she may use it to oust Carolyn. Jenn gets it, it's hard to say, she might go after Will for flipping. Mike or Dan would likely target anyone but a blue collar. Maybe my big issue with twists anymore is that it almost prevents the castaways from playing. They just cross their fingers and hope something falls into their lap. I don't mind the idols, but extra votes? I guess I'll see how it plays out. I hope it some big blindside where someone turns on their own alliance, and not just a predictable and a vindictive vote.

I think I'm at the stage of DVRing and watching later. I'll see what happens first, but at least I can skip over the parts and people I don't want to see. Kimber, I think that poster may have been referencing something I said about the post-Nicaragua quitting rule: that the producers can withhold any prize money or jury spot. They take it case by case. Which I guess could translate to either they like you and your quitting spared their man-crush, or they hated you from the word go and your leaving screws up the rest of the game for the man-crush. I was half expecting a repeat of Palau when Janu wanted out, her tribe wanted Stephenie gone, and Probst practically voted Janu off himself to save Steph. I don't know what the case would have been with Jenn, although I kind of doubt that factored into her decision at all. Perhaps I'm wrong. Joe seems to be selling it pretty hard in interviews that it could have been clever strategy on her part, so I wonder if he's hinting at something. Since the editors are leaving so much out, which is something else Joe acknowledged in a couple of interviews, I'm at the point where I'm reading between the lines and trying to pick up on any little clue that might shed any sliver of light on what's going on behind the scenes. Regarding your comment about Mike: so much bugs me about the man, and he would rank in my bottom 5 of winners ever should he get there. I don't get the mentality that people have to prove loyalty to him. I mean, I get it that you want to know you can trust people. But seriously, it's as though they are acting like people need him a lot more than he needs them. Which is yet another reason I'm pegging him to win. Will this be a Thailand or Vanuatu situation where he just tells someone they are going to miss out on the final 3, but tells them to vote with him anyway, and they accept it? I thought I would have found Max Dawson to be super annoying to have around at this stage, given what he said in his post-boot interviews about wanting to be some conniving character that created chaos. I think Mike and his ego may actually top that, but he hasn't actually done anything that thrilling. He has a tribe mostly full of goats and coasters, and the only one yet to attempt to challenge him is Rodney. However, I feel as though poor Rodney will fail. The blues are too cult like to vote one of their own off, so they'll sack either Carolyn, Tyler, or Will, and force Rodney to come back to them. I am glad to see I'm not the only NC/Jenn fan left. Like you, I try not to let what castoffs do outside the show cloud my judgment of them on the show. I enjoyed Jenn in the beginning, still do, but I want the Jenn I enjoyed back. She hasn't done anything on here that has made me dislike her in anyway. The whole Nina situation, I think both sides could equally be at fault for that, and I also believe Vince didn't help by filling Nina's head with crap that wasn't true. I completely forgot Jenn is the last of the NC tribe remaining. I grouped Shirin in with them so much as she was part of their alliance, that I automatically associated her with being on that tribe from the start! I was hoping we'd get an underdog story and the blues would get taken out, but alas, it isn't meant to be. Looking back at past seasons, this one is just so drama free compared to others. Everyone's too nice and it seems like no one wants to hurt someone else's feelings (Dan and Rodney aside, but I'm not talking being bullies more like game moves). I'm not looking for another Colton or Phillip or even how Cochran got treated at Ponderosa during South Pacific. But good grief, we need someone to liven it up. I don't go by what the cast says in regards to this being the best season/cast ever, because of course they would think so. I have a favorites list, a bottom list, and those seasons that I'm neutral on. Worlds Apart I went from loving, to being neutral, and it is now heading towards one of the worst ever for me.
-
That will be the only satisfaction. I don't like when the young target the old because they believe they are weak and unproductive, but I equally hate when there's the mentality that the oldies don't want anyone under a certain age to win. I have mixed feelings on Carolyn. I'm surprised she's getting such a low key edit lately, though considering everyone left and all the idol and Joe drama, I guess I can understand how she sunk back under the radar. Now that Joe is gone, perhaps we'll see some of this game playing that appears to be going on. Since she wasn't a target, maybe she was just laying low. I did want to like her, and given the fact that she was targeted early on solely for her age, I'm glad she more than proved herself. She seems to have a good head on her shoulders regarding the game and since she seems to have a big, opinionated mouth, I thought we'd be getting some interesting sound bites and confessionals from her. At this point, though, I wouldn't miss her in the game. Frankly I'm more interested in what's going on at Ponderosa each week at this point. Wish those clips were longer!
-
I still like Jenn, although not as much as I did in the beginning. She's a former shell of herself from those first few episodes of fun and snark. I am glad she didn't quit, though I don't care for people who try and get around the 'I'm not a quitter' label by asking to be voted out. Same thing, so you might as well have just laid your torch down and left. When it comes to quitters, I feel sorry for the people already voted off that would have killed to make it to that spot. That's the ultimate goal for 99% of people that go on there is just making it to the merge and jury. Super sad to lose Joe, but Shirin played that smart and may have bought her and Jenn some time in the game. I recall a couple other incidents in seasons pasts where contestants wanted to get voted out, but their tribe needed their numbers so they didn't honor them that. Joe appeared to hype up in interviews that a small part of that could have been strategy on Jenn's part. I don't know if I believe that or not, but with Joe gone maybe Jenn can get her groove back. She and Shirin need to fight that they are needed for swing votes, otherwise they need to call them out and ask what's happening once they are gone. Going forward, if Mike discovers the final 4 Rodney has is legit, I wonder if he would actually go and target Rodney or one of the others in his alliance. Something about Mike and his approach to this game makes me feel like he's some paranoid control freak that everyone bows to. But again with the editing this year, maybe they are just giving him a really good one so they can justify if he wins (which I'm still calling this point-either him or Tyler). I think I can see why Jeff would be foaming at the mouth and declare Mike the best winner ever: a strange part of me sees a little of Jeff in Mike. The spoiled part that if he doesn't get his way he'll pack up his ball and run home.
-
Unless TPTB bring him back. But let's hope they can find some other fun character that you can actually love to hate vs are outright disgusted by. Joe was asked in his interviews about Dan's attitude, especially towards Shirin, and he seemed to not really know there was that side of him out there. Dan appears to do most of his bullying one on one, or in the case of Sierra after that TC, when he felt on a high in front of his blue bully buddies. There's no way Dan could win this game. I don't see him getting one vote, unless it is from Mike, and I don't even know if Mike would do that. Jeff doesn't seem to like him, or at least that's the vibe I'm getting. Of course if Dan brings out the conversation, for better or worse, that's all that matters. IF he does ever return, I hope he doesn't get the protection he got this season by getting another Mike and a bunch of women that don't fight back to his insults. In terms of his age, considering I thought Dan was 20 years older than he really is, I went and looked up the ages of all the castaways this season. With the exception of Joe, Jenn, Hali, and Sierra, I was way off with the rest of them. I was shocked Rodney is only 24. I'll be anxious to see everyone all prettied up for the reunion show.

I wonder if there's some rule with the Tyler/Carolyn alliance that only one of them is allowed airtime. First Tyler was invisible, now suddenly he's becoming front and center and Carolyn has faded into the background. I started off liking Carolyn and was really rooting for her, but she's disappointed the last few weeks. Tyler seemed reluctant to flip because of her, but I wonder if that's his cover story and will use it to claim he was being loyal. I don't know Tyler's game, but I wouldn't be surprised if he subtly calls the shots but lets her think it was her idea. Of course, given that so much strategizing and game play is being left out, I'm not even sure I feel right criticizing her lack of game play too much since we aren't seeing a heck of a lot. I feel as though we are due for another unexpected blindside, so I won't be surprised if she's the one who gets sent packing, idol in hand. If she gets double crossed I pick her to be the bitter betty on the jury.

Judging from this tweet from Jeff, we'll definitely be seeing Joe in a future season(s): Which is all right by me. I kind of feel bad for Joe in reading some of his boot interviews. No one really wanted anything to do with him post-merge due to him being such a threat. They all wanted him gone, and no one could see any good in keeping him around. So he didn't get to play the strategy game. While I'm concerned Joe returning in the near future might result in getting a pre-merge boot for the reasons that doomed Rob C and Yau-Man, I would be curious to see how his game would change. He recognizes he played a horrible strategic game, but if he had people more willing to want him around and who could possibly be considered threats just like him, he might stand a better shot at that part. I hope he can make the family visit next time :) And while it probably sounds shallow to say, I'd love to see a season where Joe, Ozzy, and Malcolm return. All that beauty, all that gorgeous hair.

http://www.cbs.com/shows/survivor/video/8D76386A-D4C8-F881-391A-C999C18C2599/survivor-bring-the-popcorn-preview-/ Here's a new promo. Survivor auction, letters from home, Dan says nobody dictates his future, Will accuses Shirin of questioning his character, Rodney and Mike blow up. It sounds like Mike may attempt to make a move; he talks about blowing something up, so maybe he's just late getting a dig in from that TC when they talked about ice picks and chainsaws. Will gets the 'bring your popcorn' quote and says it will be the best tribal ever. He says this to Jeff in front of the group. He obviously feels safe about his chances. I'm calling a Rodney, Tyler, or Carolyn blindside. The only way it would be the best tribal ever was for Dan to finally get sent packing, but somehow I don't see that happening. Per Jeff's twitter, he still says this is a great season with a lot of exciting drama and stuff to come. Since it appears fans and recappers alike aren't feeling that way, I'll be curious what his feelings are when it is all said and done. Certainly not the best season ever, and not even close to the best cast.

They don't allow luxury items anymore, otherwise I might assume she brought make up along with her. Maybe she smuggled it in. My cousin had a disorder that caused her to pluck all her eyelashes and eyebrows off repeatedly, as well as pulling out her hair. She eventually had eyebrows tattooed on. I wonder if that is the case with Sierra. Just another mystery from the invisible blonde out there. Now that she's wearing those headbands, I actually remember she was there at the end of each episode. TBH, I think they would have been better off getting Mike out of there before Joe. He never would have seen it coming. They could have used the argument that he was too busy paying attention to what Joe was doing than to what was going on around him. The NC + Shirin should have voted him off over Kelly, even though their reasoning for Kelly made sense. I believe that if Sierra flips, it won't be her own idea. And I'm still thinking it'll be too late. They should have taken Mike out when he wasn't expecting it, got the idol out of play, and they still would have had the numbers to get rid of Joe/Jenn/Shirin.
-
I won't rule out Sierra winning yet, but if all she's done is be a follower and expect to get handed a million for taking 2 goats to the end, she may have a tougher time than she realized. I don't see her beating Mike at all, and given the turn around Rodney has had, I don't know that he's so beatable anymore either. If Rodney has no part in voting off Tyler, Carolyn, and Will, they may give their votes to him should he land in the final 3. Hali thought his game was being underestimated. Joe said he was looking for an underdog and someone that had to fight to be there, in one of his interviews. Sierra might fit that since she was on the outs early on, but I guess it will all depend. And, she has to get there. If they believe she could win for being nicer, and they don't need her vote, she'll be joining the gang at Ponderosa. The only two I could positively see her beating are Shirin and Dan. But weirder things have happened. After all these years, I'm still surprised Jenna Morasca won in such a landslide. And if there's a mentality of voting for someone older over younger, then that might also hurt her chances with some of the jurors. I also wonder if Sierra was just full of a lot of hot air when she talked about voting her blues off. She might not have wanted to flip too soon and overplay her hand, but I wonder if it was just a ploy to get people off her back and not have them go running to someone else and scheme against her. Since there seems to be a lot left out, maybe she's doing a better job at the strategy aspect than we're seeing. I still don't know if waiting too long to flip will backfire, especially if she doesn't realize Rodney has a final 4 going on outside of the blues.
-
Taking this to Sierra's thread.
-
That's it! He's very one note. I said Mike was giving me shades of Lex, but I'd also throw in another Survivor I didn't like, Terry Dietz. The look Mike has on his face at the end of each TC reminds me of the look Terry had early in the season, when everyone was just following his lead. It's just that condescending 'of course this went my way, no one will challenge me, I'm the leader!' look. In this case, his tribe could get rid of him and make it a blindside. Terry wasn't so easy to dispose of. As paranoid as he is, there's a heck of a lot going on behind the scenes we aren't seeing with people approaching him and wanting to work together. So I don't know what Mike is selling, other than people see Dan along with Mike, and believe they could at least beat Dan and maybe make a convincing argument at tribal over Mike. In general, I believe lack of charisma is what is sorely lacking in this season and cast. The only personalities we are getting any glimpse of are despicable. The others are very one note or invisible. It was fun early on, but now everyone seems to be laying low. I hope there's some serious plotting going on and a real game changer happens. In some of Joe's post boot interviews, he again goes on about all the gamers and game play going on out there, and that every day was different. I know he was actually there, but seriously, I'm beginning to wonder if there really are two seasons happening here with all that's being left out. Or if it's all imagined in the castoffs heads. And yes, I completely agree with what you said about Rodney. Who, even though he hasn't had much luck in terms of plans working out, is playing a better game imo. The very fact that I don't want Rodney voted off because he's one of the only ones left I'm rooting for, and I want his stupid plan to work even though I hate his entire alliance, is where this season has ended up for me. Mike has Dan, and Sierra, who I can't say I care for anymore. I have a feeling Shirin and Jenn will end up siding with Mike's group, however.
-
I would be very happy if Natalie were included on that list. I was somewhat surprised her name wasn't on there originally. She seems to be enough of both a fan and production favorite to qualify. Her and Tracy are the only two "fans" that I would want to see back from Micronesia, and I would like to see what each could do in the game on their own. I had wondered if some of those names were simply red herrings to prevent the real list from being leaked. I would be disappointed if John Cody wasn't on there, but not entirely surprised. So since we had no concrete spoilers this season, I wonder if we'll get a full pre and post merge boot list since it's all returnees. Those seem to be the seasons that are completely spoiled, start to finish. I would be stunned if Joe wasn't one of the males from S30. I'm guessing Jenn, Shirin, and maybe Hali would be among the 2 females. For the men, I guess I would say Mike if he doesn't win and Rodney. I don't really know that I see them picking a pre-merge boot as had been speculated.
-
Yeah, I was still onboard with this season and was defending it when people were giving up early on. But I'm over it at this point. With 5 episodes left, I have a hard time believing that a lot will happen to redeem it. If it turns into a Mike vs Rodney where one alliance gets picked up, and some predictable flip flopping, I'm over it at this point. I know people are praising Mike's game, but I don't really see what he's done that's been so great other than to get very lucky. No one out there appears willing to challenge him. Everyone is just following Mike. They should have named this season Survivor: Who's the Biggest Goat?
-
I know Joe's gotten a lot of flack for not looking for the idol, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that he was looking. Unfortunately for him, everyone else was watching him. If he found it, great, even if everyone knew it. It could be he just couldn't find it. It sounded like only Hali was helping from his allaince, but if anyone else got any sort of sight where it was, they might have beat him to it. Which, I know everyone in the un-magnificent 7 is feeling comfortable, but since the clue was shared with the world, why is no one else bothering to find it? I could totally buy Jenn pretending she wanted to throw in the towel to make herself less of a threat. That's the Jenn I miss from the beginning. I think she was mentally checked out and ready to leave, but I hope this renews her drive. She and Shirin need to be careful what side they flip to. Once either Rodney or Mike's side loses enough people, they might be on the chopping block again. I feel as though we are quite possibly headed for an all blue collar final 3, or almost all blue collar. The Cagayan idol hunt is how I was hoping this year's would go down. Everyone focuses on Joe, and he sends Jenn and Hali to the actual idol location to find it. Whether they were honest and gave it to him could have been yet another fun plot point. But this isn't the fun Cagayan, it is the boring Worlds Apart, where everything is being left on the cutting room floor for whatever reason. Count me in as another that doesn't get the editing, as I've stated before. It seems even that people doing recaps and interviews are confused as to why so much is being left out. There's 5 episodes left, so we'll see. Not a bottom 10 season for me so far, but getting close.
-
I don't know if Jenn and Joe are dating. They seem to be having a lot of fun pretending, though. I would love it if they are, they seem perfect for each other. But I have a feeling they are just very close friends. Jenn along with Mike, Sierra, and Tyler were visiting Joe in AZ a couple of weeks back. It's always nice to see a close cast, but I'm more surprised who seems the closest with who outside of this group.
-
Jeff's teaser for next week: http://www.ew.com/article/2015/04/15/survivor-host-jeff-probst-says-i-dont-see-spot-jury-quitters So we've had him say it's "the best episode of the season" twice, it's "a wonderful episode" once, and now a "don't miss" episode. I wonder if Jeff is actually down on this season and all this hoopla is his way of just mocking it even more. We know the big blow up is Mike and Rodney. I have a feeling Rodney tries to blindside Mike, and either Mike plays his idol, or someone in Rodney's alliance flips. Of course there's still Shirin and Jenn as factors. Rodney may not have factored them in. I'm guessing either Rodney or Carolyn gets blindsided. I guess we are possibly in for a Pagonging season with a final 3 of Sierra/Dan/Mike. Depressing. Don't know what this big thing is that happens at an auction, unless people are buying deals with each other. Could this finally be the twist we were promised? Yeah, I'm starting to wonder. Though I don't see how that fits "jumping the shark" or being "Shakespearean" but I don't know if Jeff really understands what that would mean anyway at this point. If Jeff is hot for Mike and this twist saves him, maybe that's why they waited so long. They did say it is something they've never done before, but at this point, I'd rather not hear about any twists in advance anymore and just be surprised. Sometimes the less said the better Probst.
-
He got those from the first II challenge, hanging on the pole. I was hurting looking at them! I was talking with a friend of mine today about the show, and she's as disappointed as all Joe fans that he was voted off. She mentioned missing his hair every week, so it makes me wonder, who was more popular: the guy, or the mop of hair on his head lol I have to say, I think the way Joe's hair looks at Ponderosa isn't as good as it was on the island. Boy could still be in a shampoo commercial, though.
-
Given that both Joaquin and Hali said in post boot interviews that Rodney was playing a character out there with a bunch of outlandish stories, he might be able to get away with the bad edit card. I wouldn't buy it, but he might have something there. I have to admit, his impersonations were freaking hilarious and spot on. It was one of two highlights in an otherwise depressing episode (the second being Joe's fake idol ploy). I don't know if Rodney is actually becoming more endearing, or the cast is really that bad that I find myself rooting for him to make the final 3 (and win, depending who is there with). I would root for him over Carolyn or Sierra, the two invisibles, at this point.
-
Yeah, well, Shirin needs to remember that Max also thought he knew the game, and they thought they had a tight alliance with Carolyn and Tyler. We see how well that worked out for him. I feel like Shirin is getting some sort of underdog edit, which is why I possibly see the final 3 for her. She could never win with this group. But for whatever reason, no one out there seems to like her. At best they tolerate her. Why? They aren't showing us. So she's the calm, cool, collected David to the bully Goliath. Being yelled at, picked on, told she has no chance to win, and she outlasts them all. Maybe she'll even be given pity votes so she'll get second over the third person in the final 3, like Jaclyn did last year. And tonight, we actually see her strategizing. She's on a sinking ship, so I can't blame her for reaching out. She and Jenn need to strike, and hopefully they do, and hopefully someone listens. I think even Jonny Fairplay could make the guys this season look like idiots. I do wish we had a couple of Sandra's out there. I'd love to see Dan try to ridicule her. Considering I expect Dan to blame the editing on his portrayal, I wonder how many others will blame the editing on the fact that they were invisible and seemed to lack strategy. Carolyn has pretty much disappeared, just like Sierra. Joe's strategy sucked, but it did seem like his group all tried to get people to flip and no one wanted to. Going back to even the tribe swap, the younger guys wouldn't work with him. I'm still curious why that was, but I don't think I'll ever know. Coming into the merge, Carolyn wasn't fond of the NC, and while I hate admitting it, Sierra was probably smart not to flip on her BC. So I don't know what he did out there, strategy wise, but people were after him from the word go. Even his own alliance thought he was screwing it up for them. Why one person mattered over 9 others I don't know, but that's no excuse to say the game couldn't start until the Golden Boy was gone. I hope Joe gets another chance to prove himself. He at least recognized that his social game was crap, so I believe he would improve on that.
-
I don't like Mike, but I've resigned myself to the fact that he likely has the best chance of winning. Only person at this point I could see beating him would be Tyler. Of course who knows what is going on with everyone out there, strategy wise, so maybe people are doing better at the game than we are seeing. But there's something about him I don't like, and haven't for awhile. The guy just seems way too comfortable and cocky. Part of it is him being a power couple with the worst person out there, Dan. I wish they could have blindsided him tonight. I feel that if that is Rodney's true intention, the opportunity is passed. However, there must be something he's doing right. Hali mentioned wanting to work with him, Tyler gave him Joe's idol clue out of loyalty, and tonight we see Shirin cozying up to him. I've had an inkling all along that he was a strong bet to win, and now that we are closing in on the end, I believe that's exactly what they are setting up. Won't be one of my favorites, and I don't see much of what he's doing out there other than being on the right side of numbers.
-
*Sigh* A small part of me was hoping that maybe, just maybe, they were building to something at tribal tonight. That maybe Joe wasn't going to go home, and Jenn would sacrifice herself, or that fake idol ploy would work. But considering the promos and teases and what-have-you were a whole lot of nothing, I figured it was inevitable. At least Joe can walk away this season knowing he was the biggest favorite, has the best chance of being asked back (maybe even more than once), and was voted out strictly because he was a threat and nothing else. He recognized his strategic game completely sucked, so I have a feeling he will be a returnee that learned something. My only concern is that when he returns, he may be the Rob Cesternino, deemed too much of a threat, and voted off much earlier than he was here. Of course Rob was a strategic threat and Joe would be a physical threat. They need to bring him back to design the challenge sets, II (this year's was hideous), and necklaces. That II he made was one of the best fake ones that was ever made. I wonder if he gets it back, or if they'll hang it in the Survivor hall of fame. I wonder what possessed him to give it to Mike. Seriously, how long did he have to work on that idol? Had he been working on it gradually, because even though he's an artist, I would think it would have taken him awhile if he had just started at that point. I am so happy he at least made the jury phase, so at least I can see him and his hair each week for that and the Ponderosa videos. Since he seems close to his family, I would love if they ever did another BvsW with past contestants and their loved ones for him to get asked back for that.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8YDSMiOOUE Here's Joe's video. He lost more weight than Hali. My heart really broke when he started crying about not making the family visit. At least Joe can know that he was voted out for being a threat, and not for some of the other reasons that will cost the people that follow. It will be interesting when Will makes it there, since he flipped on them. Joe and Hali seem to understand why, and they touch on why the girls alliance went nowhere (people were afraid, and that caused Sierra to flip back, Carolyn didn't want any part of it, and that caused Tyler to flip back).
