"A lot of times I've been left in the dark." You don't say Angela. And here she goes squealing to Dom! What is wrong with these people? Where are all the smart ladies that have played this game before?
-
An extra vote, 2 real idols, 1 fake idol.
-
Every time I see the tribe name I keep reading it as Latvia. Laurel is going to dig herself a hole. And when has she been vulnerable?
-
My guess is Dom plays his idol, and someone is idoled out. Not sure if they'll really target Seabass but I'd guess it's between him or Donathan, unless Laurel really decides to make a move and it backfires. Well at least Seabass gets blindsided on a steak dinner. Smart thinking Wendell.
-
Laurel will find some reason to not target Wendell and Dom and finally say 3rd place is better than nothing.
-
Laurel a tad bitter? Does she not understand how this game works? Should have voted them out when you had the chance!
-
Okay, that was pretty funny. Donathan at his last bag of pieces: "I made it Jeff!" Jeff: "The crowd roars with excitement" Jeff: "Wendell has one piece left if he can keep his puzzle together." Dom blows in his direction. Good job Wendell is yelling out Probst's name!
-
I like Donathan. I wish he had dumped Laurel when he had the chance to get Wendell/Dom out.
-
Problem is, Dom/Wendell have idols and I'd have to think they'd be absolute idiots not to play them. Isn't final 6 the last chance they have? Donathan would probably be game, but Laurel wouldn't, and Angela is hard to predict. I don't think she knows what she's doing most times. This maze is pretty cool.
-
They all should have made the move to get Dom/Wendell out when they had to chance. I think Laurel is resigned to just losing to them now. Many seasons ago. Just like blindside. The only one I don't want to see win is Laurel, but it wouldn't be the end of the world. Unlike last season when I was grinding my teeth during the finale.
-
Oooh, Seabass wants to be a big boy and play the game. And of course Dom/Wendell want to take Seabass out next.
-
Yeah, I'd rather get right to the show and save Probst for the reunion. That's all the Probst I need. Especially with a final 6, it just wastes time. I much preferred when we had a final 4 in the finale. Something made it more special. However, I prefer a final 2 to a final 3.
-
I didn't even recognize anyone all cleaned up. Except Seabass, who constantly has the vacant look in his eyes. It should say something about how well Ghost Island has worked when they had to reuse an advantage already played in the game.
-
So far I think Ghost Island has been a bust this season, so not sure what Probst sounds so happy about. Actually, I guess his enthusiasm isn’t that great. Trying to think what’s the most powerful thing from Survivors past that might be out there-unless it’s all the idols that got Cirie booted.
-
I mean, he made a point at the end of the GC finale about discussing a tie breaker, so everyone assumed that's how HHH was going to end. Ghost Island hadn't filmed yet. It's weird. Unless he figured hyping it would give it away. At any rate, I guess it does fit with the edit Wendell and Dom have gotten. I still don't know whose going to win!
-
Kind of disappointing if true-Laurel’s been useless all season, and she gets to make the biggest decision. I’m surprised Probst isn’t hyping the finale more.

From what we've heard in interviews I feel like we're missing a lot. Maybe it's to keep the winner in suspense, but I can't really make a clear argument for anyone left winning. Wendell's edit has just confused me this season. He does seem like he's gotten a positive reception in interviews, however. But that could mean anything in terms of an outcome.

Another question I have is, what was it with people on TV and not having screens on their windows? On Family Matters there were a few episodes where Urkel came in through a window, but I notice it on other TV shows as well. Maybe I'm just overly paranoid from watching too many crime shows and living in a buggy area, but I would never have my windows open with no screens on them (not to mention my cats being able to jump out). I also wondered why they never kept their doors locked when he would show up unannounced. There was one episode where they heard him coming and locked one door, but forgot the other one. So clearly they thought of it.

The whole reason they cut down on the food rations is they wanted to make being a provider a bigger role. Essentially, they wanted to make it harder to vote off the Ozzy's of the show so this was to make their role more useful. Except I don't recall ever seeing anyone step into that position this season. I don't even remember seeing anyone fish. Probst also made up some kind of chore chart for each camp so they could keep track of who was doing what around camp. I'm guessing that was used either as a table top or thrown into the fire. Ultimately, I don't think Probst cares what the longtime fan or even casual fan thinks if it's not in line with him. Some of this may be CBS, but some of it is probably Probst.

I think this is where my frustration of Urkel set in. Not only did his character take over the show, monopolize the story lines, and essentially shove other characters out of the way, but his story lines got so ridiculous and unbelievable. Not to mention it seemed like they just gave up on his character towards the end. I would have much rather kept around Maxine, Waldo, the original Harriet, Richie, Rachel (though I can't remember if Telma Hopkins left on her own or not), Mother Winslow, and explored more with Eddie and Laura as they got older. Even their story lines got ridiculous, and Laura's seemed to revolve around Stefan/Curtis and Myra/Steve. I agree with your points about Waldo. I remember how proud of himself he was at finding a skill he didn't know he had, and the heart to heart he had with Eddie at Mighty Weenie over being given a real chance. I can't say I ever cared much for Judy, but I think they could have done something with her character if they really tried. I did hate how other characters were simply gone or just written in to further a stupid plot.

I think the only legit couple if Seabass and Jenna. I question if Bradley/Kellyn are even the real deal.
-
I just assumed they were shifting the focus and getting rid of any extra characters they would have to pay. They even dumped Richie in favor of 3J. I agree that it was a shame the last couple of seasons really centered about Urkel/Myra/Laura, and Eddie/Myrtle/Gretchen to a lesser extent. Even with Eddie I thought he was more of an after thought in terms of storylines. What I remember about him was being in college, then deciding to drop out to become a cop (that was one of my favorite episodes of the last season I will say). I always liked Waldo. Two of my favorite Waldo episodes were where he and Maxine had their first date, and the episode where Eddie hired him at Mighty Weenie but he kept screwing up. Instead of firing him Eddie managed to find a position there for him that he excelled at, as the cook. The date one though was always good for a few laughs.

The only reason I could see CBS leaking it is to make a very public point. I don't know what legality they have to go after people who leak spoilers that aren't contestants, but this could be some warning to them, too. I know there was something about a poster on another message board that was leaking info from Russell Hantz during Samoa and HvsV where they attempted legal action, IIRC. Of course Redmond leaks the cast and minor spoilers like the theme, but I don't know if they would target him for that. Or if they could. And of course, this could just be a huge publicity stunt. At any rate, I don't like the people in question simply from the photo that was posted. So I'm glad they are getting punished.
-
I'm sure a lot of it has to do with GI and spoilers. GI had a leak somewhere, because someone had a pretty accurate boot list. That usually only happens with returning player seasons. I know some posters elsewhere try and figure out whose merge/pre merge based on whose following who but the GI cast was all over until the premiere. Jacob was even following a lot of people, then when the premiere happened he unfollowed everyone. I actually wonder if this might affect Redmond's cast spoilers going forward. So yeah, this could be a friendly warning to future contestants.

So Caleb's completed the CBS reality show trifecta (until CBS comes up with another reality show). Can't say I'm excited about this, even if the potential for train wreck TV is high. I was hoping for more of a mix between Survivor/BB, but it seems like there will be more BB teams even if the rest are Survivor. I really wish the reality show has beens were able to race with whoever they wanted vs someone from their show/respective season. I just hope no one from BB19 rears their ugly heads.
