Wow, Donathan voted for Wendell. Wouldn't have guessed that.
-
Actually, Laurel can thank Dom for taking her to the final 3 over Angela, because she no doubt would have lost fire to Wendell. However, Laurel would have been a Wendell vote on the jury, so I guess Dom still would have lost.
-
Oh for pete's sake, half an hour to go and we still have to talk to Erik, James, do a preview for S37, and do a preview for Kevin Hart's new show?
-
And the winner is....Wendell. Eh, I think Dom played the better overall game but I'm sure he'll be back. Can't say I'm disappointed with the outcome, though. I'm sure Laurel will be asked "do you regret your vote in hindsight?"
-
Laurel still doesn't look happy sitting there. Looks amazing though!
-
I really wouldn't have expected a tie at all. Clever editing there, because I thought Dom had it.
-
I don't know that I like how they break this tie. But I guess they don't really have a choice.
-
Holy shit! 36 seasons but we finally did it! So Laurel alone gets to cast the deciding vote. My guess is she's voting for Wendell.
-
Laurel doesn't look too happy she isn't getting one vote.
-
Tie vote! Probst is reading the votes.
-
Yep, Michael and Chris vote Dom. Seabass and Kellyn vote for Wendell Didn't see who Jenna, Libby, Des, Chelsea, Donathan, and Angela voted for.
-
I think Laurel gets zero votes, maybe one if she's lucky. I think Seabass votes Wendell, Donathan, Michael and Chris vote Dom. Seriously up in the air with everyone else. Someone might throw her a bone over her answer as to why she didn't ditch Dom/Wendell sooner. Funny that Dom/Wendell were hugging one minute and wishing each other luck, the next throwing each other under the bus. I love this game.
-
So Laurel is in third-maybe no votes? Not sure about Wendell's chances now, but still think it's a toss up between him and Dom. After the jury performance I think Dom has it, though. Kellyn and Seabass seemed the only ones annoyed by him. And Jeff wastes more time talking to a paid kid audience member to predict who wins.
-
I think Dom did the best with the jury. They really didn't spend a lot of time with the jury questions.
-
That was Seabass's rant? Not impressed. Dom wins round 2? Barely I guess. Okay, Laurel is making a decent point about why she didn't take Dom/Wendell out earlier. But she went from saying she was making big moves to smart moves. I don't see where Dom really hurt anyone.
-
Kellyn needs to shut up. Did I say that already? Seriously, it's a game kids. Dom makes a good point about the Seabass vote and why he did what he did. Michael is such a voice of reason.
-
I'd say Dom won round one. Dom is explaining the theatrics about the Seabass vote. Seabass is steamed.
-
Cocky but so far I think he's holding up well. Wendell and Laurel seem more desperate. Michael just called Wendell out for letting Dom piss everyone off while he sat back. Now onto Outplay part of the game.
-
Donathan is a Dom cheerleader. Dom says there was no mastermind and he made the decisions for himself. Kellyn needs to shut up. And Laurel is saying she approached Dom/Wendell, not the other way around.
-
Look at it this way-she totally would have gotten buried. I could see her yelling "objection!" to Probst when she didn't like a juror's comment. Wow, this jury is kind of tough. Dom's been sitting silent. Chris wants to know who the mastermind was. Wendell quickly says it was him.
-
And Michael says Dom played the best social game. Hmm. I did like the look on Dom's face when Laurel said she was the decision maker in the alliance (not her exact words but that's what she meant). Now Wendell is defending his social game.
-
I knew Kellyn would be the first one to speak! And she said "given what's coming your way I'm not sure I'd want to be you." What an ass. Michael tried to help but basically said Laurel rode D/W coattails. Laurel disagrees. And now it goes downhill for her.
-
I'd get a kick out of Malolo actually getting the upper hand, finally, and determining the winner by their votes. I just don't know if Laurel is going to get any credit if she tries to say she made moves, because she really didn't. And she had chances to get Dom/Wendell out, but didn't take them. So unless she can convincingly follow that up with saying her odds were better with them than a Naviti strong alliance, I'd be surprised if she got more than one vote.
-
The live winner reveal always ran over, but I'd be annoyed if I set the DVR to record the final 10 or 15 minutes over, as the winner is usually known by then, but it got cut off. I thought Jeff said awhile back CBS didn't really like the reunion shows, so maybe this is some compromise-more show, less reunion?
-
They need to cut out the filler from the finale. There are plenty of moments they could have cut, namely Jeff's live banter at the reunion show. I wish they'd have a final 4 or 5 in the finale again, but with only a final 3, I get why they don't.
