I hope the photos LVP and Kyle were laughing at were of the ones of Anwar carrying Yoliar. I hope Kyle and LVP own up to it and EMBRACE it (and laugh in Yoliar's face). I suspect I will be disappointed:-(

I'll stick with Ronnie K @ Tashtalktv .... he is hilarious.

sounds like it was written by an angry drunk person

Kim still seems drunk and high imo....but not as drunk and high (pills) as she usually does so that's a step in the right direction, lol. Kimberly doesn't strike me as a famewhore so I think her mom, Kim Richards, manipulated the hell out of her enabling daughter to get her to agree to do the show.

Friday Night Tykes - General Discussion
Vicky8675309 replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Friday Night Tykes
sounds like the league was placating a parent and wanted the coach to say sorry for not handling the rule enforcement better (touch him or some other BS). I thought it was BS pandering to a parent to keep them happy and to keep the kid on the team (being diplomatic). However I do understand a parent wanting to check on their kid but on the other hand I wouldn't want parents and crowds running into the field willy nilly. It sounds like the black shirts can waive the rule (at their discretion) but it wasn't waived in this case so the coach was doing the correct thing. I guess the parent didn't like the tone or whatever (it's not like the coach made up the rule). Usually I root for the underdogs but I enjoyed watching them getting creamed by the Yokum (sp?) team with the big kids. Same goes for last week when they beat the Predators. I don't want to see any kid get hurt but at the same time I don't mind watching a good tackle. LOL @ the kid in the car saying he wasn't hit in the back and the dad saying the opposite. I think the kid would know. Dad/coach was trying to lie and I loved how the kid blew it for him (then dad got all pissy). It's funny, I live in San Antonio, don't have kids (we just have dogs) and I have no interest in actually watching an entire game but I like the show and the highlight versions of the game. The parents and coaches can be annoying but the kids with talent make it entertaining imo. Watching them shoot guns and bows seemed so normal but I can see the rest of the country getting all up in arms about it. I'm assuming they taught gun safety and they didn't show enough to really be able to know/see. These most likely aren't going to be the kids/guns you need to worry about. -
is there anyway to watch the live stream feed for free in the USA?

If she had just had a normal conversation with LVP and kept her stupid insecurities to herself NO ONE would be talking about it. So if Vinnie's ex or her ex or the kids get upset, it is ALL whineileen's fault since no one would have said anything about it (not from that innocuous conversation that LVP and Kyle were having that Whineileen stuck her nose into). It's almost like she wanted it to be her main storyline. I guess her next storyline is friend of munchie......get ready for more twitter unrest! I don't go to FB much but last week there was tons of Yo dislike---the vault comment and her mental (or fake) illness. I wonder how many of those accounts are Daisy's FB accounts.

So is Eileen really the master manipulator (or clumsy manipulator)? It sounds like Erika doesn't like LVP because of how Whineileen spun the "affair" story that she can't stop talking about (I guess she discussed it with Erika in addition to the billion other times whineileen brought up this convo she doesn't want to talk about...lol). This leads to Erika & Kathryn's falling out because Erika inexplicably hates LVP (despite having fun hover boarding). Next we see Whineileen whine to Rinna and now Rinna is throwing LVP & Kyle under the bus. Hello, Rinna you are in charge of your mouth and you don't have to talk about what your hairdresser told you. I'm actually glad you did talk about it but wish you didn't wimp out. You should have come armed with more data and even back when this was being filmed we were discussing it (or had already mentioned Yo likely having psych issues including somatoform disorders and iirc faking stuff or at least inconsistencies) in Yo's thread. Sorry, I'm lymerambling.... Eileen who often whines (Whineileen) seems to be doing a lot of manipulation. Rinna is definitely gets manipulated by her. Erika does what a good friend for pay does, sides with her paying friend Yo and lucky for Eileen, they are both against LVP...and so Erika was able to be manipulated by whineileen since it didn't go against her paid duties Eileen had potential but quickly lost it after CONSTANTLY talking about a conversation she didn't want talked about.

The first time Heidi said "You're in" I heard "urine" and now many seasons later I still hear it....well, not so much with Alyssa (sp? current host)

Silicone didn't make Yolanda lie. Also Yolanda seems very suggestible and I recall learning somewhere that the more invasive a procedure is then the more likely a placebo effect (greater placebo effect from an injection then from a pill....I think surgery would fall into this). I had to look this up and found a good summary that looks into the "old" implants (summarized the research done I think up into 1998)---there is a lot of good information and I found the conclusions at the end of each chapter (just skimmed a few pertinent ones) useful. They aren't associated with causing autoimmune disease or neurological disease. I think around p. 99 or so it talks about lymph nodes. I don't think Yolanda's silicone breast implants (old ruptured ones) caused her complaints. http://www.nap.edu/read/9602/chapter/1 "The available studies suggesting neurologic disease, with the exception of obvious local problems due to the physical presence of silicone gel which can compress nerves following implant rupture and migration of the gel, have defects that limit any conclusions to be drawn from them. Furthermore, basic toxicological and animal experimental studies do not find pathology that would support a causation of human neurologic disease by silicone breast implants. Two epidemiological studies suggest that there is no elevated relative risk for neurological disease in large cohorts of women with silicone breast implants. The committee finds that the evidence for a general neurologic disease or syndrome caused by, or associated with, silicone breast implants is insufficient or flawed." There are similar conclusions for autoimmune disease and the lymphatic system is discussed. There is a lot of dense data in the link but it's helpful since it deals with the "old" silicone...I think her ruptured ones were even more modern (ten years ago was 2006 of course I don't have Yolanda lymetime converter) edit: if they are 20 year old implants (1996) then this link is perfect and covers that time. Not leaky breasts so I'm still thinking somatoform vs factitious with a splash of menopause & depression....hypochondriasis and some pathological lying.....
-
I usually like one diagnosis to explain everything but with Yo I see aspects of both somatoform disorder and factitious disorder....I can't decide between the two. Maybe a hypochondriac with factitious disorder. It may even be complicated with comorbid depression and menopause (but it is more than just depression and menopause). I don't think I can explain away Yolanda's lies with exaggerations either. One lie, of many, that bothers me is the staged photo with Bella who has an upside down iv (any nurses out there who can verify that it is going the wrong direction--maybe if emergency access is needed I can understand it but why would Bella have an IV pointed down to her hand....ack, I need to relook at that picture to make sure I am remembering it correctly). I haven't messed with IVs much but I always thought the needle should point in the direction of the blood flow. edit: it maybe going the correct direction and then the tubing is circled back on itself under the Coban (?) wrap so that it looks like it is coming from above. I need better vision or better photos!

lol, that's why I kept repeating myself about somatoform disorders being unconsciously motivated (as opposed to consciously faked). The only difference between factitious disorder (munchausen) and malingering, from my understanding, is the gain (not the motivation). With factitious disorder the faked symptoms are for internal gain (attention, etc) whereas with malingering the faking is for external gain (pain medicines, money from lawsuits). I do find this fascinating. Yo maybe a special snowflake with all of these conditions....after all she is the topper or one upper....has the most or the worst or the etc....

You don't have to have all of them to have it. It should be emphasize that WE (I/YOU/ALL OF US) CAN NOT DIAGNOSE A PERSON BASED ON AN EDITED REALITY SHOW especially when I/we/you don't know them. I think we are theorizing about a character. Even if she goes on multiple shows with the same character, unless you/I/we are her physician and have seen and treated her and have her approval then it's nothing but guessing about a made up character. I'm back to what I thought prior to this season: somatoform disorder undifferentiated. I think she unconsciously produces these symptoms that are real to her but they are not due to a physical problem. I think it is done for internal reward (unconscious motivation for internal reward). The sick role is the reward....she gets attention, out of reunions, etc. Unconscious motivation for internal reward (that she isn't consciously conscious of...lol, I'm repeating myself. Here is what I found about the diagnostic criteria for factitious disorder (munchausen disorder) from UpToDate: "Diagnostic criteria — We suggest diagnosing factitious disorder imposed on self according to the criteria in DSM-5, which require each of the following [1]: ●Falsification of physical or psychological signs or symptoms, or induction of injury or disease, associated with identified deception ●The individual presents himself or herself to others as ill, impaired, or injured ●The deceptive behavior is evident even in the absence of obvious external rewards ●The behavior is not better explained by another mental disorder, such as delusional disorder or another psychotic disorder The diagnosis of factitious disorder requires objective identification of illness falsification behaviors and evidence of deception, rather than inference about intent or possible underlying motivation. DSM-5 specifies the course of illness in factitious disorder as follows [1]: ●Singe episode ●Recurrent episodes" This all is just a guess and I have no idea if Yolanda is/was sick and no idea of her psychological/mental state. It could all be acting for all I know. I've never met the woman. The character as represented in this edited show sure does sound alarm bells for somatoform disorder imo (unprofessional opinion).
-
It's similar to malingering however with malingering there is external gain (like faking a injury to get money in a lawsuit; faking a pain disorder to get pain meds to abuse, or faking illness to void a prenup). With factitious disorder it is for internal gain (the sick role). I guess, to complicate matters even more, they can co-exist (be co-morbidities). I found this on UpToDate: "If malingering and factitious disorder are comorbid, diagnosing factitious disorder requires clinicians to determine that the patient is taking surreptitious actions to misrepresent, simulate, or cause symptoms beyond what one would expect in order to obtain external rewards. As an example, drug seeking may be present, but this does not account for the pervasiveness of the abnormal illness behavior"

Interesting article. I guess since I didn't watch The Hills (I was working insane hours) I don't have the negative feelings towards Heidi and Spencer. I do remember (back in the day) seeing them on the cover of US magazine and the like but that's about it. Interesting read (that link). I love geodes, crystals and rocks but I'm not into the crystal "mythology" or new-age stuff. Maybe she does drink or maybe they are planning ahead for a show (lol). UnReal is an excellent drama. If you watch The Bachelor or The Bachelorette then even better but it is not a prerequisite. What is that restaurant show? Now I am interested....lol. Mike Boogie reminds me of Dr. Will (I also binged some the US BBs during the past few years) and Dr. Will was the best BB contestant imo.

I never watched The Hills but lately I've watched a lot of tv. Within the past two years I watched many seasons of Celebrity Big Brother UK. One season had Spencer and Heidi on it and I liked them on that show. Then I saw them on Marriage Reality Boot Camp (I'm a season behind on that show...god, this is embarrassing~all the trash tv I watch) and that is where Heidi and Spencer had the "story" of her wanting a baby. Now she is here with mother issues with a set up for a drinking problem show next (I bet that is what is going on...I watched UnReal and now how this shit works). Pretty clever of her to already be setting up her next reality show storyline. So I watch a lot of cheesy reality shows including The Bad Girls Club. Most of the time I forget who is on what show and what season but Natalie's first season had her saying the following phrase over and over and over again that she was memorable (I RUN LA). Then she was on a spin off version of it (love games) and then on season where they brought back former bad girls (like the ultimate bad girl, lol). She was also on marriage reality boot camp with Heidi so I think their "fight" was scripted/fake. I think Natalie is a character and I find her entertaining (now that I don't think she is real). I loved her comment about wanting popcorn to watch the shit go down with the Stoddens. Kim is still drunk and high as a kite imo. She manipulated her daughter to get her on the show...I don't think her daughter is the famewhore that Kim is. Kim should not be on tv. I wasn't familiar with the rest of them and had to google Stodden (twisted). Char seems normal and maybe I will google her later. The not Cuervo people seem bland so far.

Yep, my Goldens will swear up and down that they have never eaten a day in their life.....never been fed. Poor me, feed me please.....lol. I usually end up giving them a healthy treat (baby carrots or broccoli) or dog treats but if they had it their way it would be non-stop food (eat until sick). -
Kim Richards: No Escape from Witch Mountain
Vicky8675309 replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Natalie Nunne (sp?) had a TH where she said something like "So is anyone going to bring up her history of alcohol abuse" or something like that. Natalie also had a TH about wanting some popcorn to watch the argument between momma and daughter Stodden. The show was bad but imo it was so bad it was funny (but not worth watching, lol) -

IMO there are somethings/issues that can be fixed for some people (sometimes, lol). I definitely agree with accepting what can't be changed and deal with it. I'd add in either leave it, and if you can't leave it or change it, then accept it and enjoy life. sorry for the bad grammar -

Not about Kim/Kyle: Some people like a "fix" whether is to just offering potential solutions for a problem, providing therapy (if trained) or just letting them vent and employing active listening skills (let the other person come up with their own solution if there is one and/or helping guide them to a solution)....that all can be "fixing" imo. I do agree that one can't fix an addict. Sometimes a person just wants to be heard and sometime they want a fresh perspective and/or other options that they may not have thought of. I learned long ago (as a older teen) that I couldn't "fix"/help someone who didn't want help. edit: we maybe talking about different things. I'm talking about fixing problems not fixing a person. If someone is having relationship/financial/health/etc problems then that is what may need fixing or may just need venting. Addiction is different and that requires the addict to want to change. I can't fix someone else's addiction.
