S06.E14: Not Easy To Love

I agree with you. And if talking about the kid is saying they are healthy (fine) then no harm to anyone, especially not the kids, at the time of filming except Yo who is lying about them. Of course NOW (long after filming) the kids are on the lyme bandwagon.... Have Bella or Anwar said or written that they have "chronic lyme disease"? Or is this all just from mommy? Well Bella did have that staged photo with the upside down IV -

I totally get what you are saying. I know I am a "fixer" and since I can't fix my brother I have to minimize contact with him for my own sanity and for our relationship. We live our separate lives so when we interact it is good. We love each other and are in a good place. We are there for each other when needed and he knows not to come to me for help getting drugs or alcohol. I know not to lecture him or even judge him (this is something I have to consciously tell myself and remind myself that I am not walking in his shoes with his experiences/biases/etc). One thing that makes it somewhat easy to love him and be around him (when I am around him) is that he is a nice guy and isn't an asshole like Kim. Sure he has done stuff that I don't like but his intent is never malicious or vindictive. I also know that I don't walk in Kim's shoes and frankly IDGAF. -

If Bambi is anything like my golden then her tennis ball was going to be swapped for the potato. Bunny (one of my goldens) always puts one of her toys next to whatever she wants ("potato"-let it represent whatever she wants--trashcan, shoes, etc) and will chew on her toy until she "accidentally" gets the "potato". She tries to misdirect us. It's really cute but I know what she is doing. LOL. On the other hand, she is also the most generous dog and always brings her toys to the door when someone comes over. She is happy to give them away and/or play. We've always had dogs and had so much "stolen" by them despite being trained and even certified as good companions/therapy dogs (they do volunteer work). Anyway, despite their training they still like to steal food if the opportunity arises. I don't blame them and I would do the same if I was a dog. Now we are better about putting food away (putting the lid on the trash, putting stuff away) and not giving them the opportunity but.......lol We had a husky that stole cans of Dr. Pepper and would puncture it and drink it or carefully take an open one from the table and carry it outside to drink (through the dog door). She lived to be 10 years old (DH stopped drinking Dr. Pepper long ago and thankfully she never liked my Diet Pepsi) -

Bambi is a retriever and you see how gently she picked it up. If there are no bite marks in the potato then it could be washed off (dogs mouths aren't that dirty but they do lick their butts, lol). Personally, I'd throw it away (use it for compost/mulch) -

I never said Kim couldn't express the same. The editing showed Kyle saying she felt like Kim hated her and then immediately showed Kim responding (I think in a TH) with something about how Kim is unloveable. The narrative as portrayed by the editing tells a story of Kim making it all about herself rather then addressing Kyle's words to Kim (I feel like you [Kim] hate me [Kyle]). Personally I think they both love each other but don't like each other. Most family dynamics are complicated and I think theirs are more complicated then usual. I am biased since I have a family member with alcohol/drug addiction (he's* struggled with it all his life...since a teenager to even now as he approaches the age of 50). * seems weird to just say "he" since we have all struggled with it since we have allowed it to affect us (some enabling but it is a balance and may not be the best choice but it works....for now). I know that I don't want to watch it on tv (and no one is forcing me to watch this show) -
some of you all are questioning about whether or not the brains tribe has looked for an idol: the brains tribe has been looking for the idol~Liz & fauxbama thought Neal had it; also all the split votes to flush the idol chickens still can move after their heads are cut off....they are dead it the head/brain had been cut off even if the body still moves for a while. Regardless, I'd prefer them sticking to rice/beans and not animals not smart of the beauty girl (don't know their names) to tell Caleb that the girls have a tight alliance. I don't think it will hurt her but it was still stupid to tell him or anyone that. Is Nick trying to be like Dr. Will from BB---all circuity and machine on the inside (joking about being a sociopath or unemotional). Dr. Will was awesome but Nick is not. Nick needs to get voted off.

So that Bambi isn't rewarded for stealing (or retrieving). Plus Bambi doesn't need the extra food--she looks well fed. -

Yoyawnda is such a hypocrite. At the park with Erika and Whineleen she says something about how girlfriends are supposed to keep confidences and not blab. But wasn't she just scolding the girls for talking behind each others back. Yet it is ok for Erika to do it to LVP. about the preview: back to this episode: is the sequence correct or is it editing--> did Mo give LVP the pink horse house (stable?/barn?) after the BBQ and the whole kid's don't have lyme fiasco? -

Kim talks about other people getting involved in her and Kyle's relationship and then editing shows LisaR at the reunion. That doesn't work imo since Kim and LisaR had their own relationship drama. The only one who got in-between Kim & Kyle was bg and that is on Kim. Kyle says that it feels like Kim hates her and then Kim starts talking about how she herself is unlovable...good way to twist it around to make it about you being unloved when that wasn't what was said. Kim---STAY OFF THIS SHOW....go back to your other show. Better yet, go do that community service you are slacking off on (or go to jail) Eileen---STFU -

Yolanda does not have Gullain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) = Acute Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy (AIDP). GBS is an acute monophasic (not relapsing remitting) paralyzing condition usually preceded by a viral illness. It usually presents as a fairly symmetric ascending paralysis/weakness with loss of deep tendon reflexes (when they tap your ankles and knees with a reflex hammer they no longer have the reflex jerk). It is extremely rare to have any mental status changes. Basically it is slowly progressive paralysis and by the 4th week after presentation almost all have reached the nadir and then it is a slow recovery. If progression goes past 8 weeks then it is Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP). All of this is easily diagnosed by clinical presentation, exam findings, elevated protein in the CSF on lumbar puncture (with normal white blood cells) and characteristic findings on emg/ncs testing (testing of nerves and muscles with electrical shocks and needles). Yolanda doesn't have an acute condition and she does not have a monophonic presentation. Has anyone seen her with any muscle weakness/paralysis---does she use her hands to pull or push herself up from a seated position (just one example)? Fatigue is not the same thing as weakness however weak muscles can fatigue more rapidly than "normal". I bet she doesn't even have any visible muscle atrophy. I hear her complain of fatigue but that isn't direct muscle weakness. She does not have AIDP (GBS) and she does not have CIDP.

Yolanda has a handicapped parking placard. Since she can't drive, can't her drivers just drop her off at the front door of wherever she is going? No wonder there are never enough handicapped parking spaces. She doesn't drive so she doesn't need to park close--drop her ass off and park in a normal spot! per reality tea: "Yolanda also has a handicapped tag on her car – Daisy chauffeurs Yolanda to various appointments."

no physician is going to write "beautiful 48 year old woman" (well, maybe Dr. Klinghardt, lol). Sometimes well kempt or unkempt (or disheveled) is written in the exam section. Regarding medical notes (short explanation): The History of Present Illness usually starts with something like age, (hand dominance if written by a neurologist), race, sex, and pertinent parts of the past medical illness). For example: "77 y/o rh wf with HTN, DM, HLD c/o acute onset of lt f/a/l weakness x 1d" = 77 year old right handed white female with hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and hyperlipidemia complains of acute onset starting 1 day ago of left face/arm/leg weakness". Then there would be more information on the severity and course of the weakness and any related symptoms or absence of relevant symptoms (numbness/tingling/language problems/etc...). The history is the subjective part (after the identifiers like age, race, etc...) since it comes from the patient's perspective. The next part is the exam findings and testing (labs, imaging, etc) and those are objective. Beauty (subjective) is not relevant to health. Even with stuff like surgery words like beauty aren't used. words like pleasant or hostile or apathetic can be used when describing a patient since it is relevant to obtaining the history and assessing mental status/psychiatric status. Also there is some overlap with the assessment of the mental status since it also documents mood & affect (example: depressed mood with flat affect). Basically it has to be relevant and beauty isn't relevant. Plus, how do you even measure or define beauty. I don't see doctors writing beautiful (or hideous) 48 year old..... using "beautiful" is creepy and seems like the doctor is lusting over the patient to the point they can't control what they are documenting in the medical chart. Agree with nc socialworker's entire post---> I forgot about --> "looks older/younger than stated age" is used when appropriate.

I take it you don't watch Project Runway: Allstars. Some crappy designer did a revealing dress and the judges ripped him apart on critique saying the slit was too high and basically said it looked slutty and it was "DEGRADING TO WOMEN"....they went all PC on his ass for a sexy dress. I didn't care for it but I don't see how any clothes are degrading to women if a woman choses to wear it...(it was the judges that said it and I disagreed with them about that comment). Anyway, I wonder how those "judges" feel about this dress---isn't it done by some big name designer?

She mentioned it somewhere...wasn't that when she was admitted to Cedars Sinai and had that exhaustive work up that was negative and then she went to belgium and bought the lyme diagnosis. She mentioned it all in one of her speeches. I remember getting pissed off at her saying "brain inflammation" and then saying the stupid doctors diagnosed her with chronic fatigue syndrome because if that were true then she should sue the shit out of the hospital but it wasn't true so she couldn't sue!

Thanks! Very interesting. It looks like Yolanda is trying to garner sympathy----she says she had severe inflammation of the brain which means she had ENCEPHALITIS however IIRC she was discharged, after extensive testing, with a diagnosis of chronic fatigue syndrome. There is no way "encephalitis" isn't on her list of diagnoses if that is what she had. No doctor is going to mistakenly pick chronic fatigue syndrome in place of encephalitis. If she was worked up for "severe inflammation of the brain" she would have had a spinal tap (lumbar puncture) done (unless she had swelling so bad she was herniating her brain and in that case she would have had surgical decompression) and would have had elevated lymphocytes (WBC; white blood cells) in her spinal fluid (cerebrospinal fluid; csf). Yolanda is lying again imo (I'd have to see her medical records to know for sure but based on what is available to the public and from what she has said, it sounds like lies). That link had other links that were interesting, like this one http://tamaratattles.com/2016/02/29/yolanda-says-gigi-rushed-her-to-hospital-for-severe-brain-inflammation/#more-20400 Interesting info about the prenups

Lyme is NOT sexually transmitted. I guess if an infected tick crawled up the urethra of a man or vagina of a woman then the tick could be spread during sex but it is still THE TICK that is spreading it! ●There is no evidence that Lyme disease can be transmitted by breast feeding. ●There is no evidence to suggest that Lyme disease can be transmitted by sexual or intimate contact. ●There is no evidence that Lyme disease can be transmitted by sharing silverware or drinking glasses. Let me add to the obvious: there is no evidence that Lyme disease it due to Aliens, Demons, Ghosts or even cell phones I know you already know this Breezy424. I'm just quoting you since it seemed to fit:-)

Isn't Yolanda the mom who went yatching off the southern coast of France while leaving her lyme stricken baby/child at home essentially unsupervised while stricken with the dreaded lyme disease?
