  1. Caitlyn has been miserable for months...huh. Couldn't be because she's pushing her family away, she only has a couple of friends who can stand her, and social media is raking her over the coals for being an obnoxious and close-minded "representation" for the transgender community, could it? While her transition was certainly the best thing for her, if she wants to chronicle her life and become a voice, she needs to put some heart and soul into her journey and not worry quite so much about the designer bag she's carrying or what color lipgloss goes with her shoes.
  2. Yes. Without her, Rob is not allowed to thrive and have a life.
  3. The whole Kody/Robyn segment where they are discussing to crib or not to crib, moving Little Sister into Sol's room, blah blah blah...what a waste of time. It was only there to remind the viewers at home that Robyn is pregnant with Kody's 374th child, and no matter what other drama is going on in that cuddle-sac, we'd better not forget about Wifey #1 and her Super Speshul baby. The "drama" about the baby's position, or whether or not King Sol will grant his new Little Sister a corner of his room, was manufactured to make sure Robyn got her fair share of tv time. It's got to royally tick her off that Meri and the Catfish is the Dramz Du Jour for us viewers. Another Brown baby? Yeah, we've been there, done that. Yawn. Something that truly bothers me about polygamy - and it's something we see every single time we watch SW - is that the wives must act like jealousy is an emotional failing on their part. Jealousy is a common and completely normal and understandable emotion to feel when you know your husband is flagrantly knocking boots right next door, while you sit in bed all alone. And yet, every damn day, the wives (except Robyn) have to swallow that emotion, tamp it down hard, and let it simmer inside them until it explodes. And the fact that Kody doesn't seem to recognize jealousy as a worthy emotion in his wives tells me all I need to know about him...that his wives are complete afterthoughts, and if they are struggling with jealousy, it's not his fault. It's about the fam'ly, after all. It's not about anyone's individual issues...unless that individual is Kody. As a woman, it's really sickening to watch. At least in this family, it's got little to nothing to do with "religion." It's got everything to do with Kody.
  4. Kassa, this is true - I remember during the couch chat when Kody admitted to helping Robyn choose her wedding dress, Christine was so upset, she left the couch session in tears. I think Kody is so dismissive of Christine because she was raised pylg, believes in it wholeheartedly, and went into it because she really did want the family...whereas Kody, as we have seen over and over, went into it for the notoriety, the martyrdom, and to show off to his friends and family, as in: "Look at meee! I have four women who want me, RAWR. I have four wives! Did I mention that I have four wives? When I go to the store with one wife, I still tell the cashier that I have four wives!" His attitude towards polygamy is to throw it in people's faces and wait for their reaction so he can whine about being persecuted. Christine, on the other hand, was raised to keep the lifestyle a carefully guarded secret. I think when Kody looks at Christine for too long, he knows that she knows that he is a fraud.
  5. I recall Kim using it as somewhat of a punchline during the Bora Bora vacay, I think (the one with Humphries). And I also recall the sisters telling Kris that her son was bi-polar while laughing and smiling. They seemed to use it as a throwaway diagnosis, without really considering what might happen if he was, indeed, bi-polar.
  6. She's got to be trying to cover her arms, right? I mean, there are tons of other ways to cover a booty - a tunic over leggings, a long shirt/short skirt combo, a flannel shirt tied around the waist with a cute t-shirt and jeans...not that I would know anything about this, mind you. I use the word "stupid" far too often when discussing this family, but I can't think of a better word to describe this outfit.
  7. Sad thing is, I know exactly what face you are talking about...one can almost hear him thinking, and smell the burning of too many neurons attempting to fire at the same time.
  8. Exactly this. During the feast, I doubt Cydney was bothering to keep an eye on what everyone else was eating. She only made the comment after it was over. And I'm 100% on the side that even if she had said something to Joe about what he was eating, he'd have brushed her off as he's done in the past. Joe has little to no self-awareness. If it weren't for Aubry bringing him along for the ride, he would've been voted out long ago. That might've been the stupidest challenge I have ever seen on this show. Did Jeff mention the rule at the beginning that when you use up your bags, you have to stand and wait to see if anyone else hits their targets? What would've happened if Joe hadn't won...do they all get to go back and grab the bags and start over? 30 seconds of watching the players stand around and wait for Joe was 30 seconds of wasted time, IMO. Not sure yet how I feel about this season. Certainly not in my Top 10, but not as painfully boring as some others. All I know is, next season had better be pretty interesting, because we've had two seasons of extremely unlikable people play this game, and it may cause some of the more casual viewers to tune out.
  9. First of all, I could do with never hearing the phrase "emoji release party" ever again in my life. I don't get why Rob is always wearing a hat either, unless he is losing his hair. But I also thought he was a die-hard Dodgers fan so I don't get the Yankees hat. I think he'd look much better if he lost the hat altogether. He's finally dressing better (no black t-shirt/sweatpants ensemble, at least), but the constant hats are distracting. Is he going to walk down the aisle in a tux and a baseball cap? His family likes to joke that he is bi-polar, but based on what we've seen on the show, I think it's a possibility. Good thing he has such a strong support system.
  10. This is beautiful, and if I had paid attention in 4th grade when we were learning about percentages, I would totally do the math for the actual show and compare it to this. We know for sure that there's going to be several shots of Kody whizzing around the cuddle-sac in a pseudo-frantic manner, pretending that it's his job to get everyone loaded up in the Brown Family Caravan for the wedding. He is a master at acting like he's super frazzled when in actuality, he's doing nothing at all. It's just his way of making sure the camera gets lots of hair-flipping shots.
  11. I wondered that too, because both Meri and Janelle, if I recall, both have very long hair in that photo, and I don't remember ever seeing them with hair that long, except in pictures from before the show began. I would not put it past any one of this group to have had Robyn photoshopped into that picture. After all, as Queen Sobbin' likes to say: "It's like we all shoulda been together from Day One." The only other explanation is that Meri and Janelle got their hands on some hair extensions for the day...which makes about as much sense as anything else, I guess?
  12. And what's worse is that Kris, in the past, has talked about how her family never knew the real Bruce, and that he could be cold and stubborn as all get out. We didn't really see too much of that side of Bruce when he and Kris were married, and I tended toward seeing Bruce as the hen-pecked husband and Kris as full of crap. Now? Was Kris telling the truth all along? Because Caitlyn's aggressiveness and ice-cold demeanor is now on full display. She is insufferable to watch when she interacts with her family. The only one who seems to tolerate her is Kim, because Kim acts the exact same way.
  13. There are so many elephants in so many rooms of those houses, it's unbelievable to me that anyone can hold a conversation. This is why I tune in, because I want to see someone, ANYONE, talk about what the real issues are...namely, as Kellyee said, Meri would've left, the divorce gutted her (supposedly the divorce was only a piece of paper, except it's really much more than that, everyone knows it and no one is saying it), the fact that Kody is a clueless doofus who acts supportive when the cameras are rolling, the fact that none of the original three wives are happy or healthy (just look at their faces...Meri is clearly depressed, Christine looks like she's aged 10 years in the past two seasons, Janelle remains checked out)...what else? It goes on and on. Meri wanted to always be Kody's Number One. Janelle, I think, wanted to share a man because she wasn't all that interested in the love and romance and messy nonsense of a monogamous marriage. Christine wanted to be 3rd (and LAST) wife, the cute, funny one that Kody would run to for good times. And then there's Robyn, who wanted to be Kody's Number One, the Queen of the Family, and she got that, at the expense of the other wives. Kody, however, allowed it to happen - because he doesn't care about how his wives feel about their place in the family. As long as no one actually leaves him, and the TLC checks keep rolling in, he is going to continue to play the befuddled man-boy with the surfer hair, the pretend concerned face, and an ego the size of the entire cuddle-sac.
  14. For as completely messed up as their parents are, the Brown kids (not counting Robyn's) are, for the most part, remarkably well-adjusted. As far as credit goes, I would have to say that Christine, who home-schooled and took care of most of them when they were young, is probably one of the reasons behind this anomaly. All of the older kids (except Mariah, and again - discounting Robyn's kids) seem to have a very close bond with Christine. She comes off as an airhead a lot of the time, but she did something right with those kids. I'm sure Kody thinks it's his strong, paternal presence that made his kids want to pursue higher education, but that's a laugh. He only wants to bond with his boys when he can show off (wrestling), and only takes care of his girls when his wives pressure him to do so. Kody should get on his knees and be thankful that his children are succeeding not because of him, but in spite of him.
  15. Oh hell yes, she was ready to run. At the dinner in Alaska, she said, "Don't be surprised if one day I just up and leave." She was 100% planning on leaving the family for her boyfriend. This sentence is perfection. Kody's mancrush was painfully obvious and super inappropriate, if for no other reason than that it was happening in front of Kody's own sons. RUN CALEB RUN AND DON'T LOOK BACK, MAN. I think Wife #5 is totally on the horizon, if only because all those weddings will take attention away from Kody, and Kody can't have that nonsense going on. Mariah has always, from Day One, come across as an entitled, spoiled little brat who wore her Future Sister Wifey halo proudly, and used to lord her Only Beloved Daughter of the Only Legal Wife over her siblings. I have yet to see one episode that she is in where she's actually tolerable, and not pouting or crying or both. I'm not a bit surprised that she seems to have turned on Meri. When Kody was hugging Meri at the end, all I could think of was, wow - there's going to be a lot of orange and black goo all over his shirt when she finally stops crying on his shoulder.
  16. It was, as ginger90 said, Caitlyn making it all about Caitlyn. What I found funny was both Kris and Khloe asking Caitlyn "What are you talking about?" And Caitlyn, pro that she is at getting what she wants, never batted an eyelash - she just kept staring at Lamar in what I found to be an aggressive nature, like she was waiting for Lamar to blink, or slip up, so Caitlyn could pounce on him. Now I am no fan of this family, but at that point I do wish Khloe would've quietly asked Caitlyn to back the hell off. I find Caitlyn to be incredibly confrontational, and a family dinner where Lamar is just getting out and meeting her for the first time was not the place to proclaim, "Oh, Lamar, we need to talk about all the changes! My changes! All of my changes!" Caitlyn is a jerk, and now she's got me defending Lamar and Khloe. Super.
  17. I really hope this baby wasn't conceived as a big "F.U." to Rob's family. I read that Rob and BC were no-shows to their weekend club appearance, which would make some sense if BC wasn't feeling well, but they supposedly didn't give the club any notice that they weren't planning to show. Nice.
  18. Kim looks ridiculously stupid in her stupid face-pulling braids and her stupid, stupid fur coats that cover her stupid arms. Don't they live in L.A.? Isn't it warm there? And yet, she stuffs her ass into sausage-casing dresses and covers it all up with fur. She actually manages to look more ridiculous with each passing episode, and that is no small accomplishment. Welcome, Rob, to next week's episode! Come on in, bring your bae, and stir up some dissention and rage amongst your sisters! Can't wait!
  19. I know, right? I may need to draw myself some charts and graphs to remember who is related to whom, and how, and why.
  20. If it's a girl, I would say Kween Kardashian is kwite kute. Emperor Kardashian has a nice ring to it too, though. I am torn. I will lay awake nights wondering.
  21. Not sure about Kanye, but I swear, the people in this family tag along on the strangest errands with each other. It actually doesn't surprise me that much. Perhaps Rob and BC will be the outliers of the family and live happily ever after, stay married to each other for 50 years and have several adorable and well-adjusted children. Not if PMK has anything to say about it, mind you, but one can hope.
  22. Congrats to Brody - but how odd that his fiancee and his father have the same name.
  23. Oh, wow.....congrats, Kris! Your show's ratings are about to go way up!
  24. I am seeing in Instagram that BC is pregnant.
  25. I can totally picture this in my mind, too. Gotta get that frizzy, cave-man hair to flap in the breeze somehow. And good for Maddie for not choosing a sister as her maid of honor...but you know that somewhere, Robyn is seething that Maddie didn't choose Aurora - the eldest daughter of the only legal Brown wife - for her maid of honor, as a testament to the strategic seamless blending of Robyn and her kids into the Brown family.
