Tom and Greg were so slimy this episode. Especially Greg’s treatment of Kerry which reminded me of Tom’s treatment of Willa back in the day. I hate the troupe when a person finds out their pregnant and keeps it a secret. I’m willing to bear but I hate it. Last seasons are tricky especially when it comes to pacing. I hope this isn’t rushed. Marcia’s return from shopping in Milan forever was my favorite. They had many intimate calls. Carrie and Tom are in the same place. They spent a long time cultivating loyalty for a person that’s gone. Loved that Logan died away from help surrounded by sycophants. His last words to his children…I love but you are not serious people. So is Gerri hired back?

One of the things about the show, that always trips me up is how you can want to be close to someone who is essentially alienating your sibling. The way Logan ignores Connor has always been heartbreaking.

Yes. Yes All in all I thought the last two episodes were better than the entire show put together. I wasn’t entirely sure I understood the Karen part. I understood she didn’t want the baby, but did she also not want to be with that guy at all? Eddie is awful. Billy is awful. I love how the minute Camila left him, he immediately ran to Daisy. Then as soon as his wife dies, and he gets the all clear, he immediately runs back to Daisy. How is this a compliment to Daisy or Camila? Also in the present Billy has news anchor hair. It’s atrocious. I am glad that Daisy got sober and got her life together. I think the most positive thing that came out of the show for me was it made me revisit Fleetwood Mac which is never a mistake.

Agreed it can be sold but not here. I don’t know what’s wrong maybe it’s the acting or maybe they didn’t have enough time to create a connection script wise. Especially with two characters that are kind of unlikable. It seems like the episodes just fly by. But for an entire show that’s hanging on the connection of two people, no. Worse, it’s making Billy look like a terrible person and Daisy look unhinged. The scene where they’re doing the photography as a band and Daisy’s like why did you bring her, Camille? I mean nothings happened… they act like they’ve had a full-blown affair when nothings happened. Yeah, I can’t stand Billy I think he’s literally has the worst personality in the entire world. Yeah he is a substance abuse, problem. Yeah, he’s a cheater, but he’s also just awful to be around.

I’ve had this book forever and still haven’t read it. I am watching the show and I’m just iffy on it. I guess I’m just not interested in enough in the Daisy/Billy dynamic for it to be an entire show. I refuse to believe they are star crossed lovers. They are both talented musicians/addicts. I guess if I had to choose, I would say, I like Daisy, slightly more than Billy who’s the worst. His entire personality is just permanently disgruntled. But essentially, there’s nothing keeping these two apart. He could call it quits with Camille. I’m not sure why we’re being treated to all the longing looks and angst. Camille, how do you stand Billy? I like the music, the fashion and 70s vibe.

this is one of the most unbelievable elements of that plot which was totally unbelievable. Portia getting on a plane not knowing what was up with Tanya. I feel like I have been defending Portia because she's a 20 year old idiot...but even me at 20...would not had left until I had heard on gotten confirmation with my boss. As an assistant what if Tanya wanted to extend her stay or whatever... I feel like Mike White was like I really got to bring the mystery this year and it went all campy...

I feel like I need to watch this season over uninterrupted to decide how much I liked it. I think the speculation and dissecting characters’ intents may have overshadowed whether I actually overall enjoyed this season. I’m legitimately not sure. I also feel like everything was left hanging but I guess that is how life actually is… Harper and Ethan’s relationship…they still have a highly troubled relationship. If it takes thinking Harper hooked up with someone else for Ethan to show interest in his wife. And I still think his interest in her paled to his interest in besting Cameron. I am left wondering if this is more wanting to be complacent and maintain status quo… Daphne and Cameron. I think my favorite moment was them sitting with Harper and Cameron acting like nothing happened after their fight. I also wonder how permanent is their relationship. I guess I am still old fashioned. I believe that when you are complete by your partner, you don’t stray. And people who don’t have this are usually just settling. Tanya dying sort of felt operatic not like it would be actually something that would happen. the only part I buy is Albie and Portia. I absolutely believe their journeys would lead them to finding each other exciting enough.

No not exactly heightened awareness just more energy and you feel more alive and just energized. Like the you are able to write an entire term paper in one night, you can dance all night and not notice...so many writers in Hollywood used to/still do take coke to work. I think the season is about gaslighting which is Merriam-Webster’s word of the year Cameron and Daphne gaslight each other but they are both into it. Ethan tried to gaslight Harper but she is now gaslighting him with a fake affair Greg is gaslighting Tanya, Portia is being gaslighted by Mike Mia is gaslighting Valentina to sing at the piano bar which they act like is Star Search, Lucia and the pimp who is probably her brother are gaslighting Albie. Isabella and Rocco were gaslighting the staff and are together still can’t stand Ethan….he is a whiny and pathetic and he did lie. also I need to find less stressful content to watch on Sunday nights.
