  1. I loved Vincenzo. I loved Ok Taecyeon's character (he was Vincenzo's nemesis) usually Taecyeon (who is a KPop idol in the group 2PM) plays more happy go lucky characters is this was a nice change. I finished Youth of May last week. It's takes place during the Gwangju uprising in 1980. I absolutely loved it and recommend it to anyone. It's a heavy drama but the acting and story is top notch. One of the best shows thus far in 2021.
  2. Ones I've watched with in the last few months: Start Up (this was probably one of my favorites for the latter half of 2020) Love Struck in the City Run On True Beauty The Penthouse (a multi season drama, S2 is on Viki now with episodes uploaded on Fri/Sat) Ones I'm watching currently: Hello, Me Vincenzo The Penthouse S2 Go Go Squid 2 (a Chinese drama)
  3. What's frustrating about HBO Max is that I have HBO through Hulu and it was upgraded to Max because HBO ad free was the same price. HOWEVER, I don't have access to the HBO Max catalog likely because there's no deal with Roku. But if I download the HBO Max app on my phone and use my Hulu login I can watch on my phone. On my Roku I just get the catalog I had before HBO Max. I got the upgrade with none of the perks.
  4. I think 2020 has put out some really quality Kdramas. Crash Landing on You (though that started late 2019) Itaewon Class Its Okay to Not Be Okay. Viki has Cdrama's, Japanese and Taiwanese dramas as well as Kdramas. My only fault with the Chinese dramas are the dubbing. (They use voice actors to dub over the actual screen actors). That really pulls me out of a scene.
  5. Camilla and Jamie from S3 of Love Island are expecting their first child.
  6. I could care less about Bruce but the actor playing him is quite possibly the strongest actor in this ensemble. He made people hate Bryce which wasn't hard to do but still the actor hit his part out of the ballpark.
  7. I watched that one too! I was pretty surprised at how steamy the scenes were with the Emperor and his mistress/secretary. That was quite racy for a Kdrama.
  8. I didn't even realize it was him until I saw the credits. I was happy that he had pretty significant part in the movie.
  9. Who saw Bohemian Rhapsody? Was I the only one surprised to learn that Allen Leech played the man Freddy Mercury leaves near the end of the movie just before he tracks down the man who ultimately became his partner?
  10. Thank you! I'm fairly new to TH. I binged OND pretty quick and moved on to BGITC which I just finished. I've started Aloha State. I'm not huge on reality shows butI love Terrace House.
  11. Has anyone else besides me just recently discover this adorable show?
  12. Exactly. These flashbacks to me do nothing to advance the story. Why make such a big deal about how they were all damaged from his death but not show that in the flashbacks?
  13. I can't watch this show anymore. I'm tired of them focusing on Jack still. I was hoping this season would focus on the immediate aftermath of his death and the months/years following. I feel like this Vietnam story could've been explored in the first two seasons given how they built Jack up.
  14. My unpopular opinion: I'm not a fan of exploring more of Jacks backstory. This show spent two seasons building up his death and how it affected everyone so why are the writers wasting their time with more Jack instead of showing the viewers the aftermath of his death. When and why did Kevin leave for LA? When did Kate join him? How did Rebecca fall for Miguel.
  15. It's a sad day. DramaFever closed. Thank god for Viki but I still need to find a platform to finish watching Emergency Couple.
  16. I have! Camilla was my favorite last season. This one I'm questioning Georgia and Sams decision to stay on the island but to be split up.
  17. Finally! I was hoping a forum would pop up. Ive been watching Love Island on Hulu here in the US. I'm over half way with the season that just aired this summer. I'm not really much of a reality show person but somehow I got sucked into this.

    U.K. TV

Is this where I can talk about Love Island? Surely, I'm not the only one who's watched this.
  19. I'm watching The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society on Netflix and it's like a mini Downton reunion. It stars: Lily James (Rose) Matthew Goode (Henry Talbot) Penelope Wilton (Isobel Crawley) Jessica Brown Findlay (Sybil)
  20. He never had any desire to make amends with former Pantera lead singer Phil Anselmo but Vinnie Paul was still out there making music with his band Hellyeah. They were in the process of recording their 7th studio album. I was lucky enough to see Hellyeah live twice but never got to meet Vinnie. From what I've read since the announcement he passed away of a massive heart attack in his sleep.
  21. I'm eagerly awaiting the Korean remake of Suits to appear on Viki or DramaFever. I've only just recently gotten into OG Suits (The US version that starred the newest Duchess Meghan Markle) and now I want to watch the Korean version.
  22. Is it an unpopular opinion to dislike Bates? I never understood what Anna saw on him and for the most part I thought he was annoying. Before Anna's assault and she was enjoying herself with that card game the staff were playing he gets irrationally upset and yells at her among other things. He just was overbearing.
  23. I don't see Hannah as being a ghost but as a way of showing that Clay wasn't over her in the slightest and him "talking" to her would be like someone else who's grieving and asking "why" etc. Then upon learning about her and Zach it crushed the ideal he had of her in his mind. He put her up on such a high pedestal that she could do no wrong in his eyes (hence his asshole reaction toward Zach as if Clay was somehow more deserving of Hannah and her virginity).
