  1. And when Grey was talking to Hoffman later, it seemed like the cops didn't even know Max was in the truck with him, which was just ridiculous. Also, I would hope any police operating in an area that included a reservation would be more familiar with tribal law.
  2. Can one person's daemon hurt another person? I was wondering when the doctor grabbed Pan if he couldn't have shifted into the arctic fox and bitten the guy. Or can daemons just hurt other daemons?
  3. I'm not sure how I feel about this show after two episodes (non-reader). It's not that I don't think the actors are doing a good job, it's just that everyone is so...grim. Grim and serious. I'm really longing for a character with some panache, some joie de vivre. That being said, I have to at least tip my hat to any show that makes me mutter out loud, "I can't tell what her monkey really thinks about all this."
  4. I think it was bruises from where the guy in the interrogation room had grabbed her. I could swear I have, too. In fact, I'd almost put money on it. Does that mean we have superhuman powers? 😉
  5. I still LOL'd at several things. I loved when D'Av was in the airlock and shouted, "See, Khlyen, told you, HA!" at Dutch. Hee.
  6. I was sorry to not get one last scene with Vampire Steve.
  7. Zeph really needs to invent umbrellas.
  8. Gotta say same. She drove me bananas at first, and looking at her whackadoodle personal outfits is still exhausting sometimes, but I've really grown to like her personality. She seems genuinely nice and humble, and I think it's telling that the other designers really seem to like her as well. Do I want her to win? Probably not, unless her collection unexpectedly wows me, but I'm pleasantly surprised to be fine with her being in the final four.
  9. Have to admit Marni's style made me wince almost as much as Hester's. But, hey, I'm old. Get off my lawn while you're at it.
  10. I was right there with you. I was riveted to Serial, but I almost fell asleep twice trying to watch this. And the animation is just...no. I want it to stop, please.
  11. Great callback - I laughed so damn hard at that.
  12. Curious as to how much butter you use? Watching this show has made me want to make monkey bread, lol.
  13. Any time there's a really scared dog, I shout at the TV, "Send Marcel!" He has the most calming presence. I wish he was around to console ME when I'm nervous about something, haha!
  14. Can someone refresh my memory as to who Hoyt is?
  15. I like this show, but honestly, "design a hot clubbing dress that evokes a wallaby" has to be about the dumbest challenge ever.
  16. Ha! Good one. Am I crazy, though...I could swear in one of those montages of upcoming scenes throughout the season I saw Seth Aaron having some sort of tiff with Michelle. And that hasn't happened yet. So I was really suprised he was the elimated one. Maybe it was just editing shenanigans and they never bothered airing that argument, I guess. I wanted Jasper to win because I'm already tired of the super-short skirts/dresses that a person can't even begin to sit down in. His at least was a decent length. Michelle's was pretty and not *too* short, but it would have been hell on the ass to sit on all that broken plastic, I imagine.
  17. He's been designing forever, it seems like, and I tend to like almost everything he does, so I'll agree to disagree with you. That being said, I kind of snorted when he was touting his relationship with QVC. Also, I liked the first dress he made so much better than the second, and I wish he'd sent that one down the runway so I could have seen more of it.
  18. This show is usually good with continuity, but did no one remember Jimmy’s hospital juice? He should have been able to secure the celeb suite with no trouble!
  19. I actually found this to be a sweet little show. I liked that the superstar kid wasn't portrayed as a bratty, entitled, drunken mess. And I genuinely LOL'd when the bodyguard picked up Damon while he was dancing.
  20. I found this really interesting as well. Was she trying to do them a kindness? Especially Johnny, since she made such a big point of knowing how lonely he is? And is she having D'Avin look for Jaq because she can't find him? Does that mean her reach only extends to Westerley? Because if it extended everywhere, she'd know where he was, right? Even if she couldn't find Jaq himself because his brain is a special snowflake, she'd be able to access Delle Seyah's memories.
  21. Taylor's cookies looked...not great, IMO. It was cute she tried to ice a banana on all of them, but it looked messy and not that much like a banana. Glad Natasha won. And although she was probably the right call to go home, have to love Issi for "Duff, I don't have time for your shenanigans."
  22. Billy's was my favorite. I would hang out in that shed. And ITA about Khiem's shed. I will also take the unpopular table for one and say I didn't really care for his lamp. Something about the fronds looked kind of janky to me. Normally I love his stuff, but not this week. And I agree with the poster before who found Jo's shed underwhelming. Nothing new there, although it did look cute, I guess.
