He says it better than I can. I'm a liberal. I want single-payer Medicare for all. I want all of our troops out of the Middle East now. I want Bush/Cheney/et. al. prosecuted for war crimes and the Felonious Five justices who appointed Bush to the presidency removed from the bench -- well, the two that are left, Thomas and Kennedy -- and on and on through climate change and signing the Kyoto Accords and the International Criminal Court. I don't feel represented.

Last night Mark Halperin had an episode of showtime's show called "The Circus." Looks interesting. It's about Halperin trying to get Julian Assange to answer some questions about the emails from inside the Ecuadoran Embassy. I loathe Mark Halperin. He's odious to me. But I'm withholding judgment on the episode until I find and watch it.

I prefer Will Rogers -- "I am not a member of any organized political party. I am a Democrat." She has my vote. We have to choose one or the other. I wish with all my heart that my choice was Bernie, but it's not, so Hillary it is. And Bernie is full-throttle on the trail doing everything in his power to help her win. That is all I need to know. Everything else can be litigated once this interminable campaign is finally over.

Here is a fairly recent (after both had clinched/pre-convention), fairly comprehensive, fairly accurate, fairly neutral/objective recap of Bill/Hill scandals and how Drumpf could possibly use those scandals to his advantage. http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/06/clinton-scandals-donald-trump Before the Ms. Universe thing happened and Drumpf Tweeted away the credibility of his candidacy, what the Drumpf campiagn had been doing had actuaaly been working. The polls had been closing with Hillary in danger of forfeiting from some of her leads in the closer battleground states. What the author (and everyone else) didn't see coming was Donald's terrifyingly bad debate performances in conjunction with Drumpf's Lost Week of Publicly Fat-Shaming a former Ms. Universe, then the Access Hollywood tapes of him admitting he gets a thrill out of sexually-assaulting women, then 11 women coming forward saying yes, he did that to me. It doesn't help that the later accusers are, in fact, stunning, women he considers worthy of his God-like affections. Donald is a self-admitted sexual predator. None of the "hey, look over here" hand-waving at our collective scandal-ridden pasts with the Clintons can make that horrible fact about Drumpf less present in the collective brain of this campaign. Unfortunately for Drumpf, he has much bigger problems ahead of him other than almost certainly losing this election to a girl. There is Trump University, the rape trial, the trading with Cuba under the embargo, how intricate are his Russian dealings and have they all been within the law, and losing his brand and his ability to continue to go deeper and deeper in debt. It could get real ugly for him really fast. I just found this YT series by an account called LiberalViewer -- forewarning. (I couldn't find a first/last name for the guy on camera.) The video is 71 minutes of 16 video clips and commentary from the big 5 sunday political shows. Everything is right there in one video. This is # 183, so a lot of catching up to try to do if I'm ever bored with BoxOfficeMojo or Everything Wrong With. My other two are both real-life liberals who are two of the most talented radio personalities I have ever listened to. My one quibble is GWB was not "elected.' He was selected by SCOTUS via their illegal interference with Florida election law in Bush v. Gore. Gore won the national popular vote by more than half-a-million votes and if the intent of Florida voters had been honored would have been awarded Florida's 25 electors and then been inaugurated as our rightful 43.

And judging from Dubya's post-presidential life, he would have been happiest if he had had enough talent and freedom to make his own way when he was young as an artist. a painter. It's really weird for me b/c I've hated him for 16 years...
