  1. Is it the scene where they are practising carrying their backpacks for their Europe trip and end up leaving them at Lukes?
  2. That's the only other scene I can think of...
  3. Ahhh... Lulu stole my next question. lol
  4. Is the conversation a serious topic? Are they discussing another credited character?
  5. I'm not good at this game at all but I love to read along... For some reason, the scene that comes to mind when reading these last clues is the one where Lorelai is try to decide on a birthday present for Richard? I vaguely remember Luke being in that scene as well, while she shows Rory her three choices.
  6. I am SOOOO excited about this! Ever since January when Netflix started blocking VPNs, I've not been able to watch any GG (apparently the Caribbean is grouped as part of Latin America and not the US, even though I don't speak a lick of Spanish -__-) Come tomorrow, I start my million-and-first re-watch! wooo hooo!
  7. So I've been thinking about Callie and Arizona's relationship and this may be an unpopular opinion but I find Callie to be the most selfish person. In some other forums, persons were hoping they'd stay together but I realise now I really don't think Callie deserved Arizona and I'm actually glad she's now gone.
  8. If this opinion is unpopular, then make room at your table for me. I've never been Jess' biggest fan, but I was even less impressed with how Luke dealt with him. While Lorelai's advice may have been unsolicited, she wasn't wrong. Parenthood is not easy. Most people have 9 months to prepare and even then are still overwhelmed. Yet they also have the opportunity to learn as time goes by. Luke was thrown into it with a very troubled youth. Under normal circumstances, it takes a village. He needed a whole city with Jess, but was too damn proud to admit that. When we meet Jess later with his bookstore etc. and he was thanking Luke for all he did, I found myself rolling my eyes. Yes it was kind of him to take Jess in, but I don't think Luke guided him and contributed positively to his growth. Probably just another adversity to overcome.
  9. I'm not sure how cute he is now that Alex went all psycho on his face... Luckily he works with the best plastic surgeon in the world, yummy Jackson Avery. Avery could replicate his face on DeLuca's... *swoon*
  10. That is the issue I had with this episode. I found it so predictable that it was boring. I addition to what has already been said by most, I kinda wish Alex kills DeLuca. I know that sounds terrible but he didn't look like her was about to stop, we know how angry he was and Jo can't pull him off of DeLuca. I also don't think if she tried to explain, that he would even listen. He was MAD. And we didn't see them again as the episode was wrapping up. I TOTALLY called that love triangle. Maggie was giving Riggs "The Look" last episode so I knew she was going be getting all wet for him soon. *ugh* I think the writers need to mix it up bit. Getting bored. Also, I was PISSED with Arizona for giving into Callie. People break up and they're sad. And you know what happens after that? They GET OVER IT! Callie is a grown ass woman. Who chose not to go be with Penny. So yes, she's allowed to be sad but HOW DARE Arizona just up and buy her plane tickets and send her off to NY with their daughter when we had this big custody battle just a few weeks prior?!?!?! Absolute Rubbish.
  11. I just watched this episode again (I won't get to see tonight's episode until tomorrow) and something struck me again, as it did the first time I watched. I think the writing has gotten lazy. I don't get that shock factor that I used to, because the stories are setup far too obviously. I wasn't surprised Jo said no to Alex because we had that patient at th the beginning trying to set him up with her daughter. I wasn't surprised that Fez died because we had that big scene with his family and of COURSE him and Steph reconciled and made plans for the future. I wasn't surprised that Amelia and Owen got engaged because they were just having a "hypothetical " conversation about it. I was surprised to see Katherine in the elevator waiting for Richard. I give them that one. I also wasn't surprised about the Riggs/ Meredith pairing because we had that whole "angst" thing going. I also will not be surprised when we have a Riggs/Pearce/Grey triangle because Maggie was making some serious googly eyes at him (before the box of bacon). Also, I found it a bit strange that the gallery for Fez's surgery was empty. It seemed like a pretty big deal surgery. Remember when everyone used to fight to be in on these surgeries and then those that didn't get in would be in the gallery moaning about it? So how was Stephanie the only one watching?
  12. This REALLY bothered me as well. Like, could we at least have some explanation, even a little mention that she decided to end it. Especially after they told us she really liked him.
  13. Thank you for saying that you COULDN'T care less. It's a huge pet peeve of mine when people say "I could care less". I then point out that that would mean that you do care somewhat... Then I get called a bitch. Carry on....
  14. As most people have said, this was my thinking also. I cannot stand Owen (never liked him with Christian either and she was one of my faves) and Amelia is pretty low down on my list too, so you'd think I wouldn't care about that relationship but it is SO toxic! She's a recovering addict! He's struggling with PTSD and some serious anger management issues. I do not think those things make for a good future. And we want to bring children into that mix?!?!?! Uhhh... no. I too would've preferred a Maggie/Riggs pairing. Just more chemistry there and Maggie has grown on me a lot this season. Would like to see her in a functional relationship. This would be a nice little twist as I think we all see there is some big secret reason as to why she said no and not just that she doesn't want to marry him. I also felt that Jo overacted all her scenes in this episode. They were all so forced. Whenever she was talking to Steph. Her scenes in the OR. The Running. Speaking of Steph, I recognise in this forum, she doesn't seem to be liked much but I'm a big fan. Always have been. Not this version of her though. The Fez story was a fail. (Yes, we keep calling him Fez... hehe). It could've had potential because their scenes together were actually pretty good and their chemistry worked (even though I kept expecting him to slip in that lisp...lol) but the story was rushed. We didn't get time to care about it before they killed him off. This is the problem Grey's faces now with a cast this big. Even though I want to care about the characters, I can't. They aren't given enough screen time for us to know what's really going on with their lives and still have enough time for interesting patient story lines. It's crap. We need a mass tragedy. As terrible as that sounds, the cast needs to be cut down a bit. I don't know or care about DeLuca, but he's there. I see they stopped trying to give the other residents screen time because there was a blond guy that had a thing for Jo, he's MIA. Jackson and April's story fell flat also because once we got past her overreaction to his mother and his "nice guy" reaction to her restraining order, it just died. We got a half-assed attempt at seeing them "be adult" last week but they were really just making googly-eyes at each other. Even Bailey and Ben are boring as hell but keep getting pushed in our faces because they're now having marital problems. I really found this episode really really dull. Drama is good but I'm wary of everyone just being so unhappy. Expect Mer. She's always dark and twisty. I shouldn't allow it, but I love her and I'm biased towards her. But yeah, I will say her lashing out was childish but it's so Meredith. Everybody else needs to bake some marijuana brownies and just chill out for a night. April used to be a really good baker, she can do that for them.
  15. I too agree that I don't see a reunion between her and Callie. Although I loved the way she was the only one that used to call her Calliope. I'm really intrigued as to where their story goes now because viewers aren't happy about the Penny relationship and I don't think they would want Callie to leave on such a sour note but then if she doesn't WHAT WAS THIS IN AID OF?!?!?!?! **sigh**
  16. I'm a Scandal fan and I could NOT remember that actress being on Scandal. Actually had to google it. OMG. That's how bland and forgettable the actor playing Penny is (with all due respect). I really don't like to tear people down because we don't choose our looks but we are responsible for our presence and she has NONE. I'm usually really good with actors and faces and TOTALLY blanked on hers. I remember all the other Shonda cross-casting that has been done because I'm also into How To Get Away With Murder and we've had one or two there as well but Poor Pretty Penny certainly didn't leave a mark.... Oh and kudos to the writers for changing my mind about Arizona. I really never liked her before and never found myself routing for her much but I think her writing has gotten much better since the accident. Less "sunshine and rainbows" and little more realistic. Also, her acting in that episode really impressed me. Like another poster said, the way she went from being all mad about her trial to walking into the OR at the end and just switching into her Happy Surgeon persona was incredible.
  17. I wasn't a fan of what little we saw of Tristan (and that's saying a lot because I LOVE Chad Michael Murray). I think they never explored that relationship too much because Dean was still too new and there was too much to explore with her first relationship and also investing in a Rory-Tristan relationship would've meant sacrificing the Rory-Paris friendship as those two relationships were clearly mutually exclusive. Paris would not have ever gotten over that. And I'm guessing they thought there was more longevity with the Rory-Paris friendship.
  18. Agreed. The courtroom scenes really annoyed me. I've never been to court so I could be wrong but are witnesses allowed to be so talkative on the stand? I used to get the impression that you were asked a question and you answer it. Done. Callie's witnesses seemed to be gushing on and on and on about how wonderful she is and I found myself rolling my eyes every time. I also felt that Penny's testimony felt rehearsed and Callie's reaction to her "Sophia's favourite things" was a sigh of relief as if she was saying "Good girl Penny, just as we practised!" Oh please. And it still really bugged me that Meredith was so much on Callie's side. I didn't understand why she agreed to testify on Callie's behalf so quickly. All of them actually because there are very few doctors in that hospital that I would say is closer to one than the other (except Richard with Arizona) but Meredith especially because I remember in the days of George, she DID NOT like Callie AT ALL. Can somebody tell me when that changed? I know they became civil and maybe even friendly at one point but to the extent that she thinks Callie should take Sophia from Arizona? The Arizona that was in a plane crash with Meredith? She expects Arizona to fly across the country regular after having been in said plane crash and Mer herself can hardly fly now? Oh and Meredith is now drinking tequila in bed with Callie because they're oh so close? **Rolls Eyes** Whatever.... LOVE the animal farm reference! Haha! Also, I'm not sure why there was so much debate as to whether or not Arizona had adopted Sofia. I remember the episode after the accident and Sofia was born that Arizona told Callie that she wanted legal rights. It was after her and Mark were arguing about the best treatment for the baby and he screamed at her something about her not even being a parent and telling her that she was nothing. Callie agreed with her that they would make it happen. I just don't expect us to see everything on screen. Like I think Meredith and Derek eventually did get legally married but we only ever saw the post-it (I think). Anyway, at least now we know there was a legal adoption. Meaning equal rights. I too wasn't surprised that Arizona won. They tried WAY too hard to make us think it was going to go in Callie's favour. Her hugging Sofia and everything being all good with them and then Arizona dropping her off the next day and Sofia telling her she hated her. All of Arizona's witness' testimony seemingly make her look bad but Callie's building her up. It was too obvious of a fake-out. I too am of the belief that the teenage mother tried to hurt herself. But that story is boring me. Not sure why. I'm hoping we don't see them again. Finally, I see some posters saying that Callie showed no remorse but during the scene with her an Meredith drinking on the bed, didn't she say that she lay awake every night wondering if she was doing the right thing? Is that not her questioning her decision to go down this road?
  19. I just re-watched this episode (because I didn't hate it as much as most people seemed to... I actually like the new set!) and two things stood out to me. 1) I am even more certain that the patient's wife KNEW about his relationship with the doorman her tipping him was her way of telling him that it is now over and 2) they've never said Arizona was now an OB/GYN. People are complaining that they don't understand how Arizona was the Queen of Paediatric and now she's April's gynaecologist but the impression I get is that she's just doing the routine work that any doctor can do for April as they are using the Hospital's equipment free of charge. They all have training in all the specialities and it's not rocket science; even an intern could've been doing those tests. I think Robbins was just trying to help out her friend thinking it would make the process easier for April after having dealt with the Samuel situation. She then decides that she's too close to them a removes herself from the case.
  20. While April and Amelia have never had a conversation about it, I'm fairly certain it was brought up on occasion. I've never really watched Private Practice so I wasn't familiar with the story but I vaguely remember Amelia mentioning it when Jackson and April were dealing with Samuel's birth. Also, why do you think a child being delivered without a brain is ridiculous? Whilst anencephaly may be rare, it isn't impossible. Or were you referring to that storyline on PP being ridiculous?
  21. Can I just say that I think the point of these forums is for viewers to air their opinions freely without being judged. As humans, we will have differing opinions, and that's ok. If we all thought the same, the world would be a pretty boring place. Just seems like some of the responses to certain posts are coming off a bit harsh. Im also pro-Arizone on this issue, which is saying something because I have NEVER been a fan of hers. Until the last 2 seasons that is. Mind you, I admit I'm not a Callie fan either, but I try to be objective and like most posters here, I'm not sold on Callie's POV. I also don't agree with them bringing their coworkers/ friends into it. It has felt like they are working a little too hard to turn us against Callie though. Im glad the custody case will be in the next episode, as I'm growing tired of it. Also really enjoyed the patient story. I think the wife knew and the tip was a deliberate attempt to reiterate that "my husband has chosen me and now it's time for you to GO".
  22. Honestly, I don't think Arizona was jumping the gun by going to a lawyer, because I didn't get the impression that she was immediately taking legal action, like in April's case. I got the impression that she saw how quickly Callie was getting caught up, and knowing her ex-wife, decided to have a conversation with her lawyer to find out exactly what her options would be, in the event that it went down that road. However, she did go to Callie to have the conversation and ONLY when she realised that said conversation wasn't going anywhere (i.e. When she got the call from the school) did she decide to pursue that route, because by that time, it seemed to be the only viable option. Neither of them were really going to budge to be honest. Callie wants Sophia to go to NY and Arizona doesn't. There's no real middle ground there so where else was it going to end up? Also, people keep asking if Arizona has any legal leg to stand on (no pun intended) but if she didn't, wouldn't her lawyer have pointed that out and told her not to bother? I'm not a lawyer so I'm not exactly sure how that works, so I would like to be enlightened. But I would assume that a lawyer wouldn't take a custody case that they had no chance of winning just for the money...?
  23. I agree with you here for the most part except that I don't really care much about seeing Meredith's kids and I'm actually interested in seeing the custody battle play out. As most people in this thread have stated, I'm on Arizona's side with this one. Which is saying a lot because I've never been her biggest fan but she has grown on me a lot this season. I also agree that Maggie's "I love your kids SO much" thing was a bit odd... While I get where they were going with it, I'm not sold. I'm not a mother but I'm a (fantastic) aunt and I do love my nieces and nephews with all my heart and it would be nice for that to be recognised on TV in some way because as another poster said, aunt and uncles don't get that kind of recognition. But it was too over the top from her in this case. I hope they don't ruin Amelia again. She's gotten a lot less angry and so much quieter now. I really appreciate it. Also agree that the gun related story was a bit heavy-handed. That first scene REALLY annoyed me when EVERY head of the surgical sub-units was there. SERIOUSLY?!?!? No. Just no. And they know the country that they live in, the stats are not a secret. So why be surprised that you know people who own guns? **sigh** Give me a break. And this is coming from an anti-gun person. It was just not realistic. All of that aside however, I did like the episode. Some folks aren't fond of Wilmer, and I thought I'd be in that camp but I don't mind him here. I think I sit at a table alone being a Stephanie fan - I actually did like her and Jackson together (he's so yummy!) and I think it did really hurt her when he chose April. So I'm glad to see her moving on. Also love both sides of Mer - crazy and "normal" - and it was nice to see less crazy and more "normal" :) What I do like is seeing Jackson and April being civil but I'm not hoping for a reconciliation there. I don't think she deserves him. I SAW THAT TOO! I was so confused because I could swear that was what it looked like and Amelia's face seemed to change once she saw what he said. But then she wouldn't have left it there, she would've told someone. So maybe we saw wrong. Even after watching your video of the scene again, I'm even more certain he said that he meant to. Which, to me, kinda makes sense because they aren't babies. They're 8 years old. I can't believe they were totally clueless. He also didn't see that upset about the whole situation to be honest. But maybe I am just overthinking it.
  24. Personally, I don't think she withdrew from the town after marrying Chris. I don't think they were married long enough for us to even get that impression. In fact, she worked really hard to get him to fit into the town and if she was withdrawing herself, why would she bother? Just my opinion....
