  1. And Holly. It seems like “Holly’s spending time with Maggie” would be an easy excuse to explain her invisibility, but they never use it.
  2. They film so far ahead I don’t think viewers had anything to do with it. They shifted gears before Jada/Eric even aired.
  3. I’m pretty sure she quit around the time of the Stefan brainwashing/loving both women thing.
  4. Coming out from lurking… I’m forgiving of the lack of sets leading to stupid living arrangements, but I’m curious how Sloan merited her own place. No history or ties to the canvas. She seems like one who should be relegated to the Salem Inn.
  5. I’m a lurker popping up to say that I really miss the thought that went into key placement. My favorite was when someone was made to pull the key of someone they hated, like Ivette or April having to say “Janelle, you are safe.” Also, the HOH play by play in this thread yesterday made my night. I’m on the West Coast, so I always have to decide whether or not I want to be spoiled and it was so worth it.
  6. I like Claire as a character, but as someone who graduated the same year as the Last Blast kids, the whole situation bugs me so much. It’s easier to SORAS the kids of older parents rather than have me keep wondering if Belle and Shawn must now be approaching 50.
  7. I’m biased because she was the first Days character I really liked back in the day, but I think killing off Chloe would be a mistake. She’s pretty much the only character that has significant history in Salem, while not being related to half the town.
  8. He negotiated a room in the Dimera mansion with his new job.
  9. Rarely seen, indeed! I’m three episodes behind right now so I might be behind on family scenes, but since I started watching again a few months ago, I’ve seen Arianna once, Holly two or three times, and Parker and Thomas not at all. I’m just taking people’s word for it that they exist. Its not a big loss, since child actors are rarely good, but it is a little ridiculous.
  10. Was Sarah De-SORASed? The character was already off the canvas when I started watching back in the early 00’s, but based on the story I read here about her climbing into bed with her father to set him up, I assume she was an adult when she left. It seems like she should be quite a bit older than Rex, Chloe, Brady. I know ages on soaps are fluid, but you don’t often see it go the other way.
  11. I feel like they’re trying to go for spunky, but it’s a miss for me.
  12. The only Stephanie I know is Shelley Hennig, so I don’t think really think of the character as a blonde, even though it would make sense as Kayla’s daughter. And wasn’t the actress before her a redhead?
  13. I think Rex comes back in January. Maybe they see him as a new anchor?
  14. I think DeAndre pretty much said without saying that Reagan’s sickness was more mental than physical. From a post a couple pages back: ”Since DeAndre and Team Blake Shelton’s Dave Fenley both sang for the Instant Save, whereas Strange didn’t, he added, “We did our job, sick or not. I just got over laryngitis. When I came back, I still sang. It wasn’t none of that anxiety or none of that stuff.”” I think she’s been pretty terrible since the Lives started, but since she was the top streamer the first two weeks, I started to think I was hearing things. I do appreciate her picking “Wherever You Will Go,” though. That was probably my favorite song in high school and I’ve listened to the original a few times this morning since I’ve been reminded.
  15. Thank you so much! I have not warmed up to Eric since I started rewatching, but it definitely seems like he has valid reasons for hating Brady.
  16. Can someone recap the Brady/Nicole/Eric triangle for me? I got the gist from yesterday’s episode, but would like to know the timeline of when she was with Brady to when she was with Eric to when she died.
  17. I was pretty horrified watching the results tonight. Adam always has obvious favorites, but to use a contestant’s post-song time to tell people to vote for another contestant (and to act like he was some bigger, moral man for doing it) is so far beyond. I appreciate Kelly so much more for her comments and would love to know what was said during the break. I never vote on the save for this show, because I’m on the west coast and I don’t care enough to spoil myself, but I really wish I had been able to vote for DeAndre.
  18. I’m still trying to get back into the swing of things after not watching for years. That ugly blue and white living room is the Kiriakis mansion? I’m surprised that in all these years, they’ve never revisited Brady and Chloe. I know he wasn’t there when they were a couple, but Nadia and Eric look good together and some of their past pairings seem like they could have been decided by dartboard.
  19. Ari Zucker was in Kyle Lowder’s Instagram video from the on-set anniversary party and tried to dodge the camera. He said she was just there for the celebration, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she ended up back in Salem.
  20. Newbie to this forum with a question - When did Kate and Sami become friendly? I was a regular watcher during the Last Blast Dance teen days and have been off and on since in the years since, but off for the last few years. I was home sick from work last week and decided to give it another whirl.
  21. Yes! I’m only a casual DWTS watcher, but I’m a big Amber fan and have actually watched that dance on YouTube recently, just because I love it so much. The similarities were obvious. I do like Milo, though, and hope he does well.
  22. I live in San Jose and I haven’t heard anyone say hella in years, unless it was done so ironically. I also noticed the reference to Oakland as “the city,” which stuck out like out a sore thumb. Even the smallest Oakland suburbs don’t refer to it as such. I wasted a lot of time trying to match suburbs to their fake city, like where would you find a family as rich as Bryce’s and as poor as Justin’s in the same district. But they probably didn’t give it that much thought. Just Fake Town, USA.
  23. Clay asked Sherri if she said anything. She said no. Then he said “Maybe Leah (Jeff’s girlfriend) said something in her deposition.” So I suppose that’s what we’re going with. They never actually confirmed that.
  24. Even more than the Zach stuff in the previous episode, there’s no way that Clay (or Alex) would have heard Hannah say that she wanted to stop living and not have mentioned it with the all the tapes and guilt last season. I understand that you have to do some hand-waving when the writers have to go back and tell stories that didn’t exist, but I couldn’t get past that. I wish Alex had texted Tyler or sent Zach after him. I don’t even like Tyler and that broke my heart a little.
  25. I also got completely lost in the timeline with Bryce’s trial. From what Zach said at the wake, I think Justin got six months probation (for being an accessory to sexual assault), while Bryce got three. Justin wasn’t in jail for any more than a month tops and was only in that long because they couldn’t release him to a guardian.
