I enjoy 3D movies and usually will spring for the extra cost if its showing on IMAX as well. I haven't been to many that really stood out, though. I heard the Hobbit trilogy was a big deal because of the frames per second(?) way of shooting. My mom has a 3D tv and I'm not sure if its the setting she's on or a trait of the 3D technology itself but it has that camera following the people around real life feel to it. I would get dizzy watching for a long period of time though.

I agree especially on the infant/child situation. At the very least when the child starts crying or talking loudly walk that baby outside of the theater till they calm down. You loudly whispering shush to the baby does not help. I went to see Selma on Saturday night and a woman had a young child that started fussing and when she finally took her out it was only down to the entryway. I attended movies a lot more years ago but now with all the ahem "options" we have I am finding myself debating whether or not its worth the trip.

I guess this can be a catch all for different experiences we've had at theaters. I have some questions for anyone who has attended a movie marathon at a theater. How was your experience, what do you suggest bringing, what type of atmosphere is it? Any tips? I am thinking of going for the release of Mockingjay Part 2 and it will be my first time. Is it worth it?

This game is amazing and I anxiously awaiting the Kingdom Hearts 3 release on PS4. Kingdom Hearts 2 was easier to complete than the original. I watched a Youtube video where they tried to explain the storyline, which I never really paid too much attention to, and it was at least an hour.

I bought Sims 4, I actually bought a newer computer so I could play it and to be honest I went back to Sims 3 after a couple of weeks of play. I think the Sims 4 CAS is amazing and the lot building is a lot easier, but actual gameplay is really lacking. And this has been a big complaint for Sims 4 but the lack of travel is a huge omission but even if you could travel you could only go to the gym and maybe the park. Its not very fun, maybe after some expansions it'll flesh out but I find the base game of Sims 3 a lot more well rounded than Sims 4.

But would it make a difference for Thompson seeing her kick ass, or solve the case, or catch the guy. When he was talking to her in this episode, the sexism he described was not that she is a woman and therefore incapable of being good at the job, but that her being a woman invalidates her accomplishments because she shouldn't be there in the first place. So he can watch her body slam dude after dude in his mind she doesn't have a place alongside him so it won't register. And I think Peggy kind of had that realization with Jarvis regarding her having to save the world from the shadows. She was so excited to be able to bring this case to SSR and drop it at their feet like "I'm worthy of being your equal" and realized it wouldn't be that easy. Otherwise she surely would have proven it to them by now. Don't get me wrong I would love for smug smarmy Thompson to have that smirk wiped off his face but I think its a bit of a disservice for Peggy and the gravitas of sexism to just have her punch a dude out or have the Howling Commandos clap on her back and everything gets righted.

I can't remember if what I read was someone's theory or actual canon but "Black Widow" is more of a moniker given to a group of female assasins trained under some regime, meaning there are multiple Black Widows throughout history. Is that correct?

I was so excited about the Agent Carter show I dug out my digital antenna from the closet just so I could watch the show live. I'm glad to hear that ABC isn't worried about the ratings, though.

Not only that but the SSR knew that was his "weakness" and had nothing to say about that and they seem to have something to say about everything. That did get a bit of a head scratch from me.

I remember seeing comic strips on Tumblr regarding the storyline for Gabe/Peggy, at least surrounding them being kidnapped by Red Skull because of their interracial relationship which was supposedly written because of the meta reaction they were getting from the readers. I am not sure if this was prior to or after the timeline the show will cover.
