  1. Gloria spoke mostly about Princess Diana but Allred was one of the people Meghan wrote a letter to about the dishwashing liquid commercial.
  2. They keep killing off my favorite female side characters. First Not!Emma Watson now Dr Quinn Medicine Woman. UGHH!!!
  3. Between this and the new season of Arrested Development I am being very let down by what was once my favorite shows.
  4. I want Kimmy, Titus and Jacqueline not DJ Slizzard or Cult Leader Jon Hamm. Ughh!!! Waste of an episode! Maybe they should have pushed this to the back end.
  5. Watched the gag reel and Angela Bassett dressed in her Queen Ramonda regalia saying to Letitia that "this is some exciting shit happening" was AWESOME!!
  6. His name is Denzel Whitaker but no relation, funny enough he played Forrest Whitaker's son in the movie "The Great Debaters" which also starred Denzel Washington.
  7. Have any of you heard of the DVD Profiler database, its an app/online database where you can record all the movie/tv show collections you have own? I have had it for years and love it. Daria Dark Shadows Strangers With Candy Dinosaurs Heroes The Wire The King of Queens Big Love The Sopranos Happy Endings Desperate Housewives True Blood The Angry Beavers Buffy The Vampire Slayer The Flintstones Futurama I Love Lucy The Legend of Korra Pushing Daisies Rome Weeds Black Adder The Boondocks Honorable Mention: The Simpsons, I am very happy they are going to continue (for now) putting the dvd/blu rays out.
  8. The show comes back on June 12th and Nikohl Boosheri (Adena) and Stephen Conrad Moore (Oliver) have been made series regulars. http://ew.com/tv/2018/01/18/the-bold-type-season-2-premiere-date/
  9. Just finished season 1, Henrietta!!!! No!!! I really enjoyed Not Emma Watson's character. Sad to see her go.
  10. Saw the latest episode, finally someone asked Ayanna about that big-ass painting of Kathy Griffin in her office. Also, it makes absolutely no sense for Ayanna to pit the Midtown artists against each other in an actual competition then expect them to come together for a performance. Maybe her father is right.
  11. That excerpt, to specifically put in your will that you won't nothing to be left to your child, it reads pretty harshly.
  12. They do mostly blend together after a while. I enjoyed 1989 better, I think that was the sweet spot, reputation is a little too much in the wrong direction.
  13. Her album is now on Spotify, if you are still waiting for streaming.
  14. I am sad to hear about Della Reese's passing, I grew up watching Touched By an Angel and her and Roma Downey's continued friendship was very touching to me. I also vaguely remember flipping through a Jet magazine and seeing a throwback pic of a young Reese posed up against a doorframe at the Johnny Carson (maybe?) show with a cigarette in her mouth and very un-Tess look in her eye. I was shook to my very core.
  15. So the season finale came and went and I enjoyed the episode but it didn't feel too much like a finale. I mean some major things happened, Raven quit her job, Booker/Raven shared a vision but it just felt like happenstance rather than any kind of closing statement. Maybe its been a while since I watched a kids show but I felt it lacked the season finale-ness that I've come to expect. Also Nia is walking in her grandmother's footsteps and just being absent for unexplained reasons in episodes. The actress has a Netflix show that she must be shooting for but to be honest I wouldn't miss her terribly if she was gone because most of the good stuff goes to Booker anyway. Her character has the potential to really bring in interesting dynamic to the show which they touched on a bit with her wanting to find out what Booker did that triggered his physic abilities. Seeing Nia deal with Booker and Raven having this incredible bond would be great but they would have to reveal that secret to each other and it looks like Disney is going to draw that out for a bit. Also since Raven clearly has a favorite Booker (I mean kid), already. LOL! Tess is becoming more of a enjoyable character and they have found a nice balance for Chelsea obtuseness. This has to be one of the best reboots I have seen.
  16. If the creative difference is between focus more on the dudes vs keep focus on the girls and Jacqueline then sorry Sarah you have to go.
  17. That's the consensus that I have heard, and more salacious gossip forums contribute it to her no longer messing with women.
  18. Oh Dylan. This ended out a lot more poignant than I expected. Ming on his way to becoming an alcoholic, Mr.Rafferty going too far to get back at a student (what did he say?!), Dylan watching the doc with all the people who called him a fuck up which led to his self sabotage. I am kind of in my feelings about how this ended, I feel so bad about how these people's lives were turned upside down, even Sara. How do people even function watching these docs about TRUE ACTUAL people?!
  19. I am really liking this show and surprised at how smart a whodunit about spray painted dicks on cars is turning out to be. I really what to know who is telling the truth. They threw a wrench at me with Ms. Shapiro, I can understand her motive of wanting to get Dylan expelled and her teaming up with Alex is a good conspiracy theory.
  20. She told the truth and I think, aside from industry issues, their rabid fanbases have a lot to do with it. They are so eager to tear down anyone that could potentially pose a threat to either that the few black female artists that do get some traction aren't supported. You have Beyoncé, Rihanna___________________________________________Ciara. That's all I got. Solange has made some moves but she had to go a whole other route totally different from how she started out.
  21. I think the interview with HR made sense. All it takes is a coworker (Cassie for instance) to find out they are dating and run to HR saying "Sutton is getting preferential treatment due to a romantic relationships she is having with Alex (the fashion credit she was given for his article). They could have a suit/complaint filed against them. Also, if all this happened with Alex then Richard definitely has no business dating Sutton while a member of the board/legal. And being part of this interview was definitely not going to be looked at well if their relationship gets out. Also Jacqueline with the personal story we found about this episode is definitely going to be sensitive to making sure that the vibe Alex/Sutton had during last episode was consensual and not coerced especially since they were inebriated. What happens out of office still could have legal ramifications for Scarlet.
  22. Get distracted by thoughts of Adena and make impulsive decisions have been the only things she has done according to the blurb writers. Its almost like its a running joke.
  23. I have the first 2 novels of Kevin Kwan on my bookshelf, I didn't realize there was a third! I started reading the first and have to agree with the way extreme wealth is interwoven into the story.
