I don't blame Holly for getting what she can. The shirts are reasonable priced considering hat other "celebrities" are charging for theirs. I was going to compare it to the ALDC ones but they are out of stock due to the "booty camp" in LA and Pittsburgh - so they say. Actually - Kendall K had her own Meet and Greet on 8/8 - Fast forward past the little girl and you can see more of the meet and greet - it was just Kendall and there really doesn't appear to be that many people there considering. Dance Mechanics has a wide variety of classes. If you noticed the manager came to Abby's 4 yrs ago - probably when things got too much for Abby to handle with the show's success. I've posted before that many of the teachers at ALDC were fairly new. I don't think they will fair well against Dance Mechanics and that may be another reason for Abby's breakdown. To find out that your business manager and teachers are leaving to compete against you when you're trying to open a new studio against big odds in LA would be devastating. Looks like karma to me.

I think Jill, Kira and Abby's criticism or comments of Holly changes are more due to jealousy. Unlike the other 2 - it was made clear to Holly that any opportunities Nia got in LA would not be because of Abby. LA is like NYC - fast paced, hectic and scheduled. If an opportunity presents itself - Holly has to take advantage of it and it's accepted conditions. It's no different than us calling for appts at say a specialist and being given a time when they can see you - to turn it down usually means we wait until another opening is available. I'm sure Nia's studies have not suffered. Not only do I think Holly would be on top of that - but I also think Nia's pretty level headed and intelligent

I actually think Abby's running scared and she finally realizes the mistakes she's made. We all tuned in and fell in love with the girls, put up with the moms and abhorred Abby's way of teaching. Due to the drama of Abby's teaching and controversy - the show gained more viewers and Abby ramped up her rants and favoritism She's lost some of the original group ( and viewers ) through her actions. She's brought in other dancers and concepts ( an additional team, dancers from AUDC that viewers liked ) all to no avail as ratings continue to fall. The fake animosity between the moms and Abby became real - kids who once had a good relationship with her - saw her turn on them. Abby is now left with disgruntled moms, isn't respected by other professionals in her field and is not the celebrity she thought she would become. The girls are older and have moved on to other projects and will be hampered through lack of real training to compete if placed in the teen category. I think Abby sees all this now - but with what we know of her personality - even if she had the chance to do it all over - she'd continue to do the same thing with the same result 5 yrs later.

Jill's beef is with production then not with Holly but since she's seen how production can skew things when you disagree with them (Abby) so at least she's smart enough to realize that production could completely decide to eliminate Kendall's role. I do enjoy Nia's singing and can see her appealing to the younger crowd.

Also didn't Abby say something to the effect that Mack has a new song coming out Dance something? She hasn't had a song at all in 2015. She had 13 come out in 2014 - only 2 of which I heard but there's nothing about any upcoming release. Also she made a comment to Kira about Maddie B - what was that about? Jojo is the one that starred in a second Maddie B video - which was cute by the way - not Kalani.

OK - I'm sitting here watching the last 5 minutes where Abby is talking about her plans for the summer ( hiatus ) and she talks about taking Maddie and Mackenzie to Panama ( again favoring the Zieglers ). But then she goes on to say how at 45 ( whoops ) when the show first started she was planning on retiring. On what may I ask? We know Greg bailed her butt out so I would assume she didn't have much saved. She has no college education on any wiki that I see. Although her mom had 7 dance studios in Florida before she married Abby's dad and moved to Pittsburgh - it doesn't appear that her mom had a lot of money - so at the age of 40 - what did Abby honestly think she could live on?

Just wow - Melissa talking back to the audience - Abby not talking and acting like a child. Personally, I'd rather have a whole hour of the moms going at it than watching the kids dance again. I applaud Holly and Jesslyn and even Jeannette - they're right - it's not fixed until they don't win. Both Melissa and Jill came of like a - holes. I'm not going to critique hairstyles and outfits because I really don't care - I'm there for hopefully answers and the disagreements. OK - I'm at the Holly and Jill fight and I'm sorry but I'm on Holly's side. Jill was the one, when head shots were taken, that overheard Abby tell the photographers that the ones to concentrate on were Maddie, MacKenzie, and Kalani. Jill then opened her big mouth and told the others. Holly clarified that Abby was concentrating on promoting those 3 after a dance competition and Abby responded that the others per se were on their own and had to make their own opportunities. Holly did just that and Jill didn't. Holly got Nia a real manager - Jill let Abby manage. Jill is so two faced and jealous that I wished she'd leave along with Abby. I really can't stand her. Not as much a fan of Nia's new video but a lot of people are. Abby should have looked at herself without her top if she thought the one heavy dancer in the video was bad. She can never be behind someone if she isn't involved. Again - I'm not going to comment on Nia's appearance as I wore daisy dukes and tube tops to school at her age. Britney Spears was not much older when she did Baby One More Time which was a very suggestive song for someone her age. I'm a sap so staged or not - I liked the proposal and wish them well. But it was comical as they're ready to kill each other one minute and hugging the next. Who says the moms will even be invited to the wedding? But we know they will be. OK - predictions on if there will be a season 6. Maybe there will be a teen elite group and a junior elite group.

I really loved Chloe's acceptance speech and think the only people that thought it was a dig at Abby are those that watched the show. Her speech reminded me of Chris Colfer's, Kurt Hummel on Glee, speech at the Golden Globe awards: and I love the positive message from those who continued to fight to obtain their dreams.

Wow - how many other families are split up due to a parent being in the service or having to move out of town for employment? Trevor is the one that has a fetish. I don't condone all that we know about Matt but how much of it is the truth? This is a producer driven reality show - we don't know circumstances or what's embellished to get this exact reaction.

Brynn is 12 so I'm surprised they even asked her unless they'll get Sarah and a couple of other young ones to join.

I was so glad to see Asia again. I know others didn't care for her - but I always liked her and wish her well. I was surprised that Mac wasn't in the ad. Off to Little Women LA - lots of drama there - ALDC has gone stale!

But to audition - you need to be enrolled in their bootie camp? or am I reading that wrong? and how much is the bootie camp? Personally I was astounded at the amount of money they want just for a meet and greet. And was Abby's LA Grand Opening free or was there a cost as I noticed when the kids were taking a class - I at least saw Maddie in the front - figured that had to cost some poor parent a day's wages at least.

I actually think the whole group is going to be reworked as the girls are not going to be able to qualify for the Junior Division. Dark when I googled and now I don't remember the sequence of words - an article came up about the well known 12 yr old Maddie Ziegler. I agree that most of the world don't know who she is - my point was that due to 1 article - had Melissa searched that way or seen the article - her belief that Maddie is well known is only solidified in her mind. I love my mom to death - but if she hears something or reads something - to her it's gospel - despite me telling her otherwise - some people are very naive in that respect.

Since the dancers on Jeanette's team all audition for the spot and were picked by Collins - I think that they are just thrilled to be on National TV and getting paid for doing what they loved to do. None are actually from Cathy's or Jeanette's studios - just as Kalani is still a member of her Arizona dance studio and a faux member of the ALDC. Had they shown the other two solos - it wouldn't have made the impact production wanted. Production wanted to show - that Nia - the underdog could place at Nationals. To show Kalani's routine and see her coming in 1st place would not have the impact. I don't know if anyone has the results but either they've featured too many MacKenzie winning moments or she didn't do as well. Maddie is a great little tapper - which is her favorite type of dance and tho we've seen her do a couple of tap routines - lyrical is where it's at in the competition world right now. It's bad for us as they could mix things up a bit and don't since the competitions are fake.

I just watched the solos and have to agree that I did not like Ava's costume. I don't particularly like watching her dance because of the long limbs but did enjoy her winning. I think in dance as well as sports like ice skating that we usually see average or small stature individuals and when we see someone with longer limbs - it just seems out of place. I know I felt that way with skater Debi Thomas as she was so tall next to all the other Olympic contestants. The same can be said for some of the guys. Out of all the dancers - Abby had to see something in her to have her on the team. As long as she is confident in herself, I wish her well. I just watched some of the other clips from years past - Chloe beating Maddie at Nationals, Chloe getting the video part ect.. and tho Maddie is surprised - she doesn't appear to have the what the heck - I'm Maddie attitude. Watching Melissa in those clips tho is really disgusting because you can just tell she's choking on her own words when she says it means nothing to her or Maddie. The show probably would still be enjoyable had the Maddie / Chloe rivalry stayed friendly.

I did just that and unfortunately in a way Melissa is right - one of the top google results is about Maddie Ziegler well known 12 year old. I'm sure that's where Melissa gets her info from and doesn't realize just switching around the words brings up many other 12 year olds who are well known and not one mention of Maddie. Melissa does not appear to have a high IQ or intelligence.

Production may move on now that Ava beat Maddie - but revenge has been the theme for the last 5 yrs - whether from the Candy Apples, BDA, MDA, or ALDC. Kalani and Mac also had solos at Nationals and I'm wondering if Kalani didn't take first in the teen division. Again - the show is choppy on Lifetime so I watched the group dances on youtube. I haven't watched the individual yet - so won't comment on them for now. I really liked the Moving Target dance much better than the Waiting Room. If I had not known the premise of the Waiting Room - I probably wouldn't have gotten it at all. I may have missed some things as I had other things going on - but I thought the premise was girls in a hospital waiting room. It threw me seeing Nia in scrubs ( doctor or nurse? ) especially with blood so evenly spread on both sides of the shirt. Being in the medical field and working in trauma - it wasn't realistic. I'm assuming that Jojo and Kendal were suppose to be patients waiting as Jojo had blood on her neck and Kendall a mark on her cheek - but again not realistic. Unlike the last text or Amber Alert - I just didn't get it at all. Both the other dances had a message - this was too confusing. And Maddie running off at the end like she was going to throw up - not needed. Now the youtubers loved it - but I felt Moving Target had much better choreography and story. Abby leaving like that and taking the kids with her - stupid. I'm not going to pay a dance teacher big bucks to have her pull my kids out before awards are finished because she's having a hissy fit. Not everyone can win all of the time - get over it. Also there was an extra clip ( again in less I missed it ) of Holly and Jesslyn before the studio's Grand Opening. Seems there were banners of everyone but Nia and Jojo on the walls. Abby is a piece of work and I wouldn't miss her fat arse at all.

Diane - I think you're right - Maddie is still the best in dance I think - but Mac is great at gymnastics, she sings better than Maddie and her acting ability is much better than Maddie's. What we've seen throughout tho is a lack of confidence in MacKenzie - and I truely think she just wants to be a kid. She is not high strung nor devoted to dance the way Maddie is and that's OK.

bonnie - it's so sad but kids these days don't think it will happen to them. Despite the fact that things were not perfect in the old days - there are so many more kids and young adults treated with medications for a variety of psychological problems. They're fine as long as they take their medications - but not everyone does.

The only time Mac really got recognition is when the first video cam out. We've heard nothing about her since as far as singing and there have been many more videos released that she's done on youtube. Melissa stated how bad she felt for Maddie when Mac beat her a few episodes ago - the moms called her out on that one. The latest video I posted - Maddie again front and center - Mac is more a prop. And we really didn't hear much about her being on the Nickelodeon show except that she'd be gone a few days. I also worry for Maddie as that kid has one hectic schedule. It's like they're trying to make the most of her time on top - but the kid needs rest. I felt really bad for her when her aunt was with her while doing the second Sia video - sorry but Melissa should have been by her side.
