I think the worst moment for me was when Brynn said she wasn't in front of Kendall in response to Jill's comment to her and then Jill tells her she should know to not talk back to her elders or some such thing. I will be the first to discipline a child but what Brynn did was not talking back but explaining herself. And no one has more of a bratty attitude than Kendall - we've seen her repeatedly talk back to Jill and I'm not talking about just telling Jill to stop talking. Out of all the members - Kendall is the most forgettable. You could see production skewed it to look like Kendall was the leader this episode with the talk before the hip - hop routine went out on stage and the talk after winning to the minis. Also - in teen category there were only 2 trophies - Kendall had a 50/50 chance at first - was this another made up competition? I would expect so with the number of kids on stage for the awards and the number of people in the audience. Usually there are lots of kids outside the venue - here nothing - or maybe they just aren't as popular in LA. Jojo rocked her dance but the boys were not all that - not saying they aren't good - but there is no way Abby's team beat two other LA hip - hop numbers - sorry! I also think these "calls" are fake - always coming at the most inopportune times. Not saying Abby doesn't have these types of calls during filming - but I think it's another production ploy to add drama. Even though Kendall is the most forgettable - her mom isn't - hence why Kendall will stay. Maddie again calling after the competition - another set - up. But I can't wait to see the minis!

I have to agree about Star & Skye. I think they were recruited only to keep the drama alive. Neither looks like they want to be there but they're probably saving their money for college. I was thrilled to see that Dianna opened a studio in Birmingham Alabama - where my son lives - I'd love to go see it when we visit next. On a sad note - Christiana's dad was shot and killed at a Jacksonville Gas Station on 1/15/15. Glad to see an active thread on Bring It and I actually liked Step It Up too. I was searching to see if Kayla went to college or not. It's too bad that she isn't introducing herself to other types of dance. It would be beneficial to the show if after "apprenticing with Diana - Kayla decided to open her own studio and competed against her. I also noticed Kayla's weight - boy she added a lot and I always thought that she should have been a lot skinnier with all the dancing she did - I know I was thin when I danced and didn't exert 1/2 the energy these girls do. I also noticed this season the 2 other assistants - I don't remember seeing them on other seasons. I wasn't thrilled when Camryn was made captain - but she is bringing it and I wish her all the best.

Maddie plays a large role in the upcoming film - The Book of Henry - google it and there are loads of articles. Now how her acting is?? I haven't been impressed up till now with what little she has done but I'm assuming the girls are enrolled in acting classes while in LA. The part she plays - seems to fit her - so I'm sure she'll do well if she has been taking acting lessons. We'll just have to see whether it draws the audiences or not - Maddie may very well continue to be in the news next year receiving an award for the film - so we'll just have to wait and see.

In the past on the Sia videos - Maddie's aunt has been her guardian.

My thoughts - good god that pancake make-up on Melissa was thick and I could still see her bad skin and wrinkles. Mac is not Maddie - each kid has different strengths and weaknesses. Each will progress differently - but when there actually has been no teaching in at least the last 3 years - it's hard to progress. That said - the dance was too young and there was too much thrown in for me to enjoy it. Her picking on Mac to me is another scripted episode from production as Mac's popularity went downhill after the release of the video from the Ireland tour and many thought she was full of herself on the Girls Talk episode. Nia should have gotten the solo for next week - she placed 2nd over a third place from Kendall. If Abby were going to use #'s - Nia could have placed 1st with that exact score and Kendall's 3rd place would have still beaten her. Actually - once hearing the song - Kendall's face make - up didn't make sense - she looked more like a monster than a beautifully aged woman - but again - nothing to get up set about. The only 1 who could be the next Maddie is Brynn - Kendall doesn't even come into play as I'm sorry she offers nothing. She's cute but her dancing is nothing special, she's arrogant like her mom and she has the personality of a dishrag. Jojo stands out because of her personality - like Nia - Kalani stands out due to her prettiness and pleasant personality. I look at Brynn and she dances beautifully - like Maddie - but I hope she has some sort of personality to distinguish her from the others. I thought the group dance was great but again - repeated moves - Kendall's leg extension - Kalani's turn - Mac's flips - and if Maddie was there - her turns and Maddie face. They are all repeated in every dance it seems. Nia's dance was underwhelming - Kendall's forgettable and Mac's too busy.

But this was done after the original competition if you look at the size of the audience for the purpose of having some sort of controversy in the episode. I'm sure that the dance teachers all know the rules and have done this set up many times before coming to the competition as they know the rules and time periods stated.

I'm back...... with my commentary as I watch it the next morning so that I don't forget anything. I've said I've watched some of the past episodes as well as AUDC. I happened to catch the episode where Jojo was kicked off and was surprised to see Kalani and her hugging and crying with Jess in the background saying how they were best friends and yet now they hardly talk to each other and Kalani is all wrapped up with the Zieglers. They made a whole big deal about guardianship ect in terms of Melissa and Kalani. I personally would rather have Jess or Holly watch put for my child of I couldn't. Abby now is pushing technique????? When that is what the moms have been saying about classes for the last year or so. Loved that Ashley called out Melissa on the back up dancer comment as I can just see and hear Melissa saying that in her arrogant weaselly little voice - and we wonder why the kids are bratty? I also still can't wrap my head around the idea that Jill thinks Kendall is the next Maddie. Sorry but right now Kalani is next in line. Unfortunately after watching the old episodes the last week - Jojo, Nia, Mac and Kendall are and probably always will be back up dancers! If opportunities present themselves. I don't really think Maddie will continue on the path she's on. She's got everyone's attention now - but in 2 months - 1 yr - there will be another kid who blows everyone away in some way. Just finished watching Gavin and Brynn's solo. I love Gavin and feel he's really grown in leaps and bounds - I enjoyed his performance. Brynn - is my new favorite - those long limbs and extensions - sorry but I think she's a much better dancer than Maddie. I couldn't take my eyes off of her. Will have to wait and sees who takes that one as I thought they tied and would not be able to choose a winner. The Bubble Dance - I did like it very much - unfortunately with the costumes they wore - the masks made them look like belly dancers. Also I was so absorbed with watching Jojo - I don't even know what the other kids did if they weren't near the bubble. OK - Abby complaining about timing and the props - all a set - up after the original competition. Check the size of the audience - if they are going to stage things - please make it a little more believable! Personally - I loved that presentation of the waiting room better than Abby's. Abby's version left me with too many questions - trying to figure out who everyone was supposed to be ect..Gavin's race across the chairs and then the lift - wonderful. A little surprised at the group results but not knowing how much they penalized Jeannette's team ( if they did) - that group could have actually beat Abby. Looks to be an interesting year - although we know the previews are never what we expect them to be!

OK - I need to get a life or win the lottery so I have some money to do other things - but I decided to watch some of the past episodes just because there was nothing better to do. I started with Season 1 - the first 2 episodes, Season 4 - the episodes right before Chloe left and Season 5 - the last couple of episodes and now the Australian trip - I always thought that Abby was a bit nicer in the beginning - maybe to the girls but she was always a witch to the moms. Melissa and her adulation of Maddie has not changed in 5 seasons - the first episode - she introduces her 2 girls - Maddie and McKenzie and after that it's always the Maddie show. We all love out kids - but Melissa's love, fixation - whatever you want to call it - is scary - even for a mom. I pretty much have always despised Abby but fell in love with all the girls - even if I preferred the underdogs - Chloe and now Nia / Jojo - but after watching the Australian trip again and seeing how not only Abby but the moms - speak, make fun of, exclude - Holly, Jess, Nia and Jojo - I'm surprised I ever watched the rest of the season. As much as I will miss it - I hope we witness not only Abby's downfall but Melissa and Jill finally facing the hard reality of reality TV this season.

I always thought that Mac was pretty humble until I saw that video from the Ireland tour I think where they were mocking Jojo - Mac acted like a spoiled little brat in that - now it may be her way to get attention - but as much as I hated what she had become - I felt sorry for her.

Thanks for the link nana - unfortunately those who commented are not impressed either with the girls or the article. I wish her well but even with acting lessons - she has a long way to go. Hope Melissa is putting some of that money away for education and giving the attention to Mac that she needs as she's always overshadowed by her sister.

There obviously weren't any other studios competing if Kendall and Nia took first in Teen and 2nd overall - or else the competition was fixed big time!

Believe it or not I'm missing Dance Moms something horrible. Went to see if they were doing anything lately - Chloe is in Center Stage III which will be on Lifetime - so they haven't ended their relationship with her yet - and she seems to be on the go with all the events she shows up to - Maddie actually met and danced with the Rockettes which I'm sure she enjoyed - Mack Z is still trying to promote her singing career - Sounds like Jojo has a new single and has been keeping busy - Not much on Nia, Kalani or Kendall except for videos of dances classes at the ALDC

Maddie did very well but I'm still no fan of Sia or this type of contemporary dance.

I also saw that - again Sia puts me off - the whole hide my face why having some tortured soul interpret my music is not my idea of artistry but different strokes for different folks.

I totally agree that Nyle's was robbed. I'm sure Mikey is doing well - going to his Facebook page - it looks like he has new digs - but I noticed that tho he is friends with Dustin, Hasadda and Devin - - there's no Nyle's to be found. Mikey is just another Hollister boy to me and sorry but his whole attitude just turns me off.

I watch episodes of Next Top Model from Britain and Australia and they follow more the original concept. I'm done with the tooch , the smize, acting like an animal ect.. No one who has won this show has been America's Next Top Model - yes they get jobs but no one has busted out. I much preferred the other modeling show the face. These models seemed sincere in helping out the new comers and weren't so cheesy.

Did someone say this show was finally going to be cancelled? Let's hope so. I agree that's Nyle's app was the best of all of them. Even Mikey is not going to get his "line" going with $2500 - this show has become so cheap and fake. I actually felt bad for Devin. I haven't liked him from the beginning - too much drama - too much silliness - but in the past few weeks, I've seen a big change and even tho he'll never be used in campaigns where they need or want a different look (aka Shaun Ross) I did think he had some strong photos. Mikey I can't stand - I wouldn't give the guy a second look. And I think he delivers the same faces every time. He thinks he's a player - Ashley, Hadassa and now Mame - but I see nothing interesting or sexy in this guy - he's not a Fabio. I think the photo shoot was ridiculous - don't move front or back - only side to side - how are you suppose to show any kind movement when any twist or turn - could put your whole body off kilter and you could fall - the platform was way too small to get any kind of great photo. And poor Nyle - they should have thought about how they were going to communicate with him before the shoot - not during. He should have been fitted with some type of device that vibrated immediately before the shot. Yu's voice and the flashlight were out of sync - it was only be fractions of a second - but that's all it takes to lose the shot. Then try pounding on the box - change Nyle's attention to now have to concentrate on that. If this is the way they were going to do it - it should have been gone over beforehand until Nyle's was comfortable with it.

Still watching this episode and I do like the show but not this episode. The hotel supposedly needed help - but why when you had an owner - who has been in the hotel business for 35 yrs and is successfully running an upscale bed and breakfast. If the owners were that concerned with the hotel - they would have had adequate furniture - promotions, inspections ect all without Anthony's help. To me this was more of a tax deduction than anything else. It gives sis a place to stay with a small salary. The owners knew what they needed to do to turn this around to fill the rooms and make it profitable - this show was BS and I'm surprised Anthony had anything to do with it.
