  1. According to TMZ Sports: Bodybuilder Rich Piana Dead at Age 46, Following Undescribed Medical Emergency Resulting in a Medically-Induced Coma

  3. I thought Josh expressed at least a certain amount of guilt about it when he & Donna were at the hospital, or at some point when they got back to the hotel after. I feel like I remember Josh being all upset & stuff, & Donna having to "talk him off the ledge", as it were, by telling him he wasn't responsible for getting Leo killed because Leo didn't do anything he didn't wanna do; Leo was on the campaign/ticket because he wanted to be, not because his dead best friend's son was running the campaign.

  7. Unfortunately, he was apparently the kind of person who doesn't "suffer fools gladly" as the saying goes. Either those who work in/peripherally to his profession, or those who admire(d) him because of his profession. While reading the many articles about his death, tributes from colleagues, etc., that crossed my social media feeds last night, I read/was reminded of a story I'd previously heard about him & a fan at a Q&A session during a live show, in Southern California, where he spent a certain amount of time reminiscing about his career, showing clips from it, & then doing a Q&A with the audience. The thing of it is, instead of being appreciative towards the audience/his fans, unless they served in the military he pretty much considered them & their questions not worthy of his time... & he basically said so, in no uncertain terms. Vice.com: Jerry Lewis vs. his fans I agree with you. He should've been nicer, to probably more people than we can count. The only thing I can think of, in regards to this, is that maybs he was having a bad "pain" day in relation to his spinal issues & the other health issues he'd accumulated over the years, or maybe he was just an SOB to many of those outside his immediate circle of family, friends, & other loved ones. Neither reason really excuses things though. He was an actor, for heaven's sake; even if he felt nothing but contempt for his audience, he should've plastered a smile on his face & pretended to be grateful to everyone in that room for the length of the performance... just as many others in his profession & with the same amount of disinterest in/contempt for the "little people" responsible for their careers, wealth, etc., manage to do during their public appearances.
  8. And here is an expanded version of the "behind the scenes" story of how the interview came to be, etc.
  9. From The Hollywood Reporter: VIDEO: Jerry Lewis' Last Interview--7 Painful, Awkward, Awful Minutes
  10. The Labor Day Telethons actually ended in 2014. Jerry's last as host/the last aired on MDA's "Love Network" of local stations was in 2010. After that, the remaining telethons aired on ABC, in increasingly shorter form (6 hours in 2011, 3 hours in 2012, 2 hours in 2013 & 2014), & it was called The MDA Show of Strength from 2012-2014. Here's Jerry's Publicist's official statement on his death, from the same source as my "Breaking News" post the Las Vegas Review-Journal
  11. And here's a breaking news announcement of Jerry Lewis' death from 1 of the entertainment news columnists at the Las Vegas Review-Journal newspaper: From the Las Vegas Review-Journal: Entertainment Legend Jerry Lewis Dead at Age 91 I'm surprised none of the cable news networks are covering this yet. Unless I missed it or they don't have it yet. You'd think coverage would be nonstop for awhile once they got the news. OK... It seems to be on CNN now; they seem to be talking about him to Penn Jillette from the Penn & Teller illusion/magic act which plays in Las Vegas.
  12. From USA Today: Sun Records Veteran, Rockabilly Star Sonny Burgess Dead at 88
  13. From The Guardian.com: Leading Elephant Conservationist Wayne Lotter, Age 51, Shot Dead in Tanzania
  14. From USA Today: Internationally Acclaimed Modernist Architect Gunnar Birkerts Dead at 92; Congestive Heart Failure
  15. From People.com, the website for People magazine, via ew.com, the website for Entertainment Weekly magazine: David Letterman Recalls That Time He Accidentally Smoked Animal Tranquilizer.
  16. From The Hollywood Reporter: Beth Howard, a producer of documentaries and the Olympics, dead at 52 from breast cancer
  17. The quote from 4x07 is actually "You wanna tempt the wrath of the whatever from high atop the thing?" Yes, I'm probably being pedantic or something but it's 1 of my favorite quotes, if not my most favorite quote, from the show & I like accuracy.
  18. Besides The Lowe Files, Rob's starting his second season, this year, as a cast member on CBS' Code Black. He plays Dr. Ethan Willis, a former combat surgeon, in that show.
  19. From Billboard: Jo Walker-Meador, the longest serving Executive Director of the CMA (Country Music Association), dead due to a stroke at age 93
  20. From extratv.com, the website for the Extra TV show: David Letterman's Career Comeback at 70 It talks, obviously, about the new show Dave's doing for Netflix. It includes a SoundCloud audio file of an interview Dave apparently did recently with Howard Stern.
  21. Very happy for you--Enjoy! And when it airs on PBS hopefully you can tell us if anything got cut for time, or whatever.
  22. Claire Forlani is returning this season, presumably as her previously established character, former FBI profiler Alicia Brown. She Tweeted about being in Hawaii & heading for work on the show. She's apparently in the episode they're filming right now, as Ep 804. Whether it actually airs as Ep 804, or not, is another matter entirely. They like to air the eps out of production order sometimes, so this might not actually be the fourth ep aired this coming season.
  23. From People.com: Robert ("Robbie") Yancy, the late Grammy-winner Natalie Cole's only child, & grandson of legendary singer Nat "King" Cole, dead at 39; Natural Causes/Heart Attack The heart attack cause is entirely plausible. Robert's father, Marvin Yancy, also died of a heart attack when he was only 34. I don't remember if Marvin Yancy & Natalie Cole were still married at the time of his death. Also... Multiple sources state that the cause of death for actor John Heard was a heart attack.
  24. From TVGuide's website: Yvette Nicole Brown is Totally Down to Appear in a Psych Movie To clarify: YNB is not in this movie. But she did play a female paranormal consultant for the police, Hazel Lazarus, in an episode of the show. She talks about this "amazing" wig with bangs she wore in character & says that if they'd write her a part in 1 of the future movies they're hoping to do, she'd be happy to put that wig back on & be in the movie.
