This has turned into a stone-cold soap opera. The music is straight out of a catalog where you would order "sexy moonlight bedroom encounter" for $9.95, recorded at home by someone with their keyboard that's covered in cigarette butts and beer. Or it may just be from a box of discarded tunes from an older low budget soap that went off the air. The dumbing down of Kevin has been a huge disappointment and I wonder if the actor is puzzled by this direction as well. At least he still is a wonderful friend to Jake.

This was terrible. Junior acted like a bore, totally unlike his previous enthusiastic, lovable, goofy character that we watched grow up over 8 seasons. Seeing him in the bathroom having sex when he was such a stone-cold jerk earlier was unbelievable. I'm pretty sure I reacted like his Mother would during that reveal! And his suite mate - I would have run to the housing office ASAP after meeting that uptight, angry girl. WOW. I wasn’t going to watch it again, however, the episode guide for season 5 sounds much better than this premiere.

I guess you missed Duke's video chat with her Mom in Episode 01 while you were doing all this pissing and moaning. She's visiting her Dad and will be home soon. Her hair was blond and wavy. The call came in while Max and Sam were sitting in a restaurant talking about Sam's bad credit after viewing the studio apartment that had no elevator.

I was a great fan of that show and I also live in the city where it took place. I also do not remember Leigha! -

I'm loving it! Straight from Bryan Stinson, creator/producer of Dance Moms, Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition, and Dance Moms Miami! -
Of note: the #2 program on all of cable tuesday night was The Real Housewives of the OC. Dance Moms rating of .25 for women 12 - 34 was tied with this episode, which in turn positioned itself as the #3 program for tuesday evening in this demographic.

Let's examine the rating for "Making a Splash in Pittsburgh" in detail: 1. The .18 demographic for People 18 - 49 went up one point and was #25 in the list of 150 Original Cable programs televised on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 2. The Female 18 - 49 demographic of .27 was #13 in the list of 150 Original Cable programs televised on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 3. The Female 12 -34 demographic of 0.25 was #6 in the list of 150 Original Cable programs televised on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 4. Generally, Dance Moms usually scores a rock bottom 0.08 rating with Men 18 - 34 and 18 - 49 which negatively contributes to the chart placement of the overall People 18 - 49 rating (#25). In any event, I don't believe that Lifetime covets this specific demographic. 5. The number of actual viewers is not as important to advertisers and networks as the demographic. Although "Making a Splash in Pittsburgh" had approximately 100K more viewers than MTV's "Ex on the Beach, " the combined strong 18 - 34 and 12 - 34 demographic of both men and women (.35) placed the MTV episode at #8 for the night. 6. For a program now in its 8th season, these are not "bad" ratings.

This episode was written by Dan Castellaneta, his wife, Deb Lacusta (has written for a total of 9 episodes previously dating back to 2000) and Vince Waldron, whose 4 writing credits include winning a Daytime Emmy for being a part of the writing team for an episode of "Win Ben Stein's Money."

18-49 Increase From Live + 3 DVR Viewing for Cable TV Shows June 15-21, 2015: DANCE MOMS LIFETIME: " Maddie vs Mackenzie" from .03 original rating to .06 - an increase of 83% 2nd highest program on Lifetime for the week Devious Maids was highest at .09

I watched this with my daughter tonight. I've taught 8th grade for 10 years. This is exactly how 8th grade girls act. They exist in a self-centered, entitled, members-only universe where frequent storms of drama and unpredictable mood changes occur as often as the moon revolves around the earth. Occasional bursts of insight and compassion can occur, similar to how Riley comforted Augie during the memorial in the bakery. I have hope for both girls.

I believe that Lifetime is pleased with how Dance Moms is performing during Season 5. It has followed a natural decline in viewership, however, the numbers have settled into a steady pattern this season. Of the hundreds of cable programs on Tuesday night this week, Dance Moms was #11 (Adults 18-49) out of all new cable original programs available for viewing. It was the only program on Lifetime that was listed in the top 100. In comparison: A rerun of "Family Guy" had the highest rating for the night at 1.0 Only 1 program had a .09 rating - "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" 3 programs rated a .07 (4 - if you include Women's Basketball Finals) 7 programs (including "Dance Moms") earned a .06 rating. (Including, "If Loving You is Wrong," "Being Mary Jane," "Deadliest Catch, and "Real Housewives of NYC") I don't think Dance Moms would go all the way to Australia for filming unless production costs were shared by the sponsoring network in that country. They will also benefit from premiering new episodes that for the first time, are filmed in their country as well.
