  1. TOTALLY Mila Kunis! It was my very first thought when I saw her.
  2. The mother and daughter were really odd. First of all the mother did not look at all like the daughter, so that whole "I want to get plastic surgery to look like my daughter" seemed wrong. It seemed like some kind of an act, some line they had rehearsed thinking it would make them interesting and get them on the show. The daughter was actually quite unattractive, so I don't know why she would want to get plastic surgery to look like her. They both had really horrible pancake makeup on and awful drawn on eyebrows. Kind of freakish. I don't know what they were after, maybe fame, free plastic surgery or both, both their whole story rang really false.
  3. I feel really mean saying this, and I am not saying this to be unkind, but I really thought Tuesday was Transgender. I kept waiting for her to reveal this, but she never did. Her voice was really deep and she was big and tall. I watched again last night and I just can't get past this.
  4. I remember those twins on "The Girls Next Door." They were so pretty! Their noses were perfect- I don't understand why they had them fixed. And their small breasts were cute. They ruined themselves. And they are quite chubby now. Not by real woman standards, but by playmate standards. The photos from their photos shoot were super photoshopped. Plus they were such idiots. They were the stereotype of the dumb blonde. Terrible. I felt so bad for the woman with the sashed nose and the aneurism. I thought she was going to be one of those cases they can't help at all, but I was so happy to see that next week is a follow up and it looks like she will get help!
  5. I watched the Wes and Lise episode last night and was looking for the thread and couldn't find it. Googled it and it turns out there was from Canada Intervention (or Canadian Intervention?) and a couple of years ago. Anyway, found this happy update on You Tube:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-OuAwYz1IDs
  6. I think it was part of the satire. A bit over the top version of what really goes on. Just as her non-belly was an exaggeration. And everything in the episode for that matter.
  7. I am now officially in love with this show. Maybe you have to be from NYC to get it - I am and I totally get it. The Brooklandia stuff was priceless.
  8. That was his first wife at the party who has cancer. He divorced his second wife last year.
  9. No Rima thought Jill was talking about the deaf guy, not her husband. It went over her head and she has no clue about her gay husband at all.
  10. I call it hanky (hungry and cranky). I actually enjoyed this episode a lot. It was very over the top but I kind of get it now. That's how it is supposed to be. Very funny show and reminds me why I left New York City!
  11. I watched just a few minutes of this and I was so confused. It wasn't funny enough to be a parody, but it had to be.
  12. I thought she said her mother had been Miss India. She (the daughter) was an actress/model.
  13. I was a little iffy about this show in the first two episodes. It seemed a little overacted and I find the lead kind of unattractive. I guess that makes her more real. I LOVED the last episode. Also, I am from NYC (escaped it for the cheaper suburbs) and I can totally relate.
  14. I thought the woman with the uniboob looked just like Giuliana Rancic! I was so happy they were able to help her. The way they were promoting her story I thought hers would be the third one that couldn't be helped. Shauna Sand looked like such a mess. Her face was so frozen and she obviously has issues.
  15. I wouldn't be surprised if they submit their answers ahead of time and then they decide who to ask first on camera for the best dramatic effect.
  16. That link does not lead to anything. Has it been removed? Never mind. Found it. Had to click through on the original post not the reply.
  17. What a snoozefest. I didn't realize the show was two hours (and three minutes) until nearly the one hour mark when I wondered how they were going to wrap it up in a few minutes. So annoyed because had I realized I would have just tuned in for the second hour.
  18. I can totally relate. In fact, I can relate to both sides. I grew up in Manhattan and didn't learn to drive til I was 30. I swore I would never leave and would never live in the suburbs. After I married and had a child it became increasingly difficult to live in the city. Eventually we moved to the suburbs and now I can't imagine ever going back. Life with a car and space is so much easier in so many ways, although sometimes I miss my single life in the city and the convenience of everything at your fingertips and never having to worry about maintaining a house. My husband on the other hand, regretted the move and wanted to go back to the city and that became a big problem in our marriage. He seems finally resigned to our suburban life. Truthfully, we could not afford Manhattan. Maybe someday when our kids are grown we will go back.
  19. I am told that the owners plan to restore the floor on their own.
  20. I live in Nyack and visited the renovated Johnnycakes. I was surprised they left the old floor. It is filthy looking. I was told that originally it was supposed to be replaced, but when they realized that the old booths were too far gone to be restored and needed to be replaced it wasn't in the budget. I am surprised that point did not make it into the show, but it seems a lot was cut out to fit the 30 minute format. My kids think the new menu sounds disgusting and said they don't want to go there anymore! I did think the Johnnycakes with the smoked salmon sounded delish, but I can see it not appeal to kids. They were horrified by the red wine reduction for the slider as well. I told them I am sure that they can still get "regular" food there!
  21. He said "when I find them" not "HIM." Still...
  22. I don't know how Carly's parents can stand all the drama with Caitlynn and Tyler. They have way overstepped the bounds of what an open adoption is supposed to be. I didn't know you could close an adoption once it was already open, but if I were them and this were an option, I would close it!
  23. Oh my God I HATE her so much too! What a horrible fake annoying fame whore! She ruined this episode. I loved the trans woman and I was so sorry they couldn't help her. She was so charming sweet and genuine, unlike New York. Ugh. She is horrid. I felt so bad for the woman with the chin and the burned face. She did look better after the surgery, but still so scarred. I have a couple tiny scars on my forehead from a nasty bout with poison ivy last summer that I had been freaking out over. This woman's story really puts it in perspective. Oh, and the second half of the show with Ru Paul- horrible, horrible, horrible! What were they thinking?
  24. I was re-watching the repeat of this episode before the new episode came on last night and my son came in the room during the scene where Chay goes for the followup appointment. He is wearing a pink shirt and a headband. In any event, my son says "Is this before or after she gets the surgery." LOL. When I told him he was a she he couldn't believe it - he said "WHAT? Well then he obviously wants to be a woman." There you go.
