  1. But dressing appropriately would not get the attention she demands. If she actually goes, she will be holed up in her room with the map most of the time. It must be exhausting to always need to show how much better of a person you are.
  2. LV is a totally different type of heat. Dry, high desert is much different than an island in the ocean. It has not been cooling off at night as much as usual where I live, but I don't know about the south part of the state. Any way you look at it, LV is terribly hot in July. I would think most people would check the weather before they start to pack, but this is Jill, so maybe not.
  3. Thanks for the invitation clarification. So Dave can attend for an extra fee. If he goes, where will Nurie stay?
  4. LV is experiencing a run of excessive heat. It will be 108 Friday, and at least 100 for the next 10 days. LV is in the high desert with no trees for shade. Inside the hotel is the only option to stay cool. Her modesty layers of clothing and long, tight skirts will kill her if she spends much time outside.
  5. Jill has a real dilemma. It will be so hot in LV that she will have to stay inside. There will be gambling, drinking, loud music and scantily clothed people inside 24/7. Therefore she will have to stay in her room. I'm not sure she understands that she will have no other escape. She will be in her room watching the map the whole time. As someone upthread mentioned, it all starts with a bang when you get off the plane at the airport. I predict a new "severe" injury just before she is supposed to leave. I'm confused by the invitation. I read it as only the invitee and someone already in Plexus only. I think it said no other people. Does this mean Dave will stay home?
  6. Their house was nice but bland, and the backyard was very nice. They have a nice view. I don't remember what the asking price is, but it seemed on the low side for the area. I do not live in Southern CA, so I am not up on house prices there, but it seemed on par for my area in rural Nevada. I was happy to see that they are letting their girls use their imaginations and have princess costumes and other toys. I wonder where they are going.
  7. My guess is that they will stay in their hotel room, much like Pecan and Priss did when they took a cruise. Priss posted pictures of them doing "Bible study" in their cabin. I could never figure out why they paid for a cruise in the first place. Jill and Dave can stay in their room with the air conditioner running and watch the map and tell everyone they went to Las Vegas.
  8. Why would she go to Las Vegas when she knows she will be exposed to "horrible things". You can't walk on the street or through a hotel without seeing people drinking and "inappropriately" dressed. She wouldn't enjoy any of the shows, and I'm not sure she and Dave will be able to find an empty swimming pool. I know people that will not go to Las Vegas because of their beliefs, but I think Jill just wants to have something to complain about. She needs to show how "special" she is. I hope they don't take "smiley tracts" with them. I wonder what lovely outfit she will come up with. Her cowgirl suit would get her some attention.
  9. I sure hope Jill doesn't wear that "graduation" dress to Tim's wedding. But then, I am afraid that she will find something worse. I'm sure she will need to be the center of attention, and that graduation dress would do it.
  10. So what is going on now with this site. We are listed as yellow light, and the format has changed drastically. The posts are not the correct size and are all over the place.
  11. The boys got braces or glasses, but not the girls. You don't need to be able to see well or have straight teeth to obey your headship and push out babies. This is so sad.
  12. No glasses, especially if it is a daughter. Didn't she get a VisaLine knock-off for some of the kids?
  13. I think that dress was the only one at the thrift store. She liked the dress and decided to squeeze into it.
  14. With a CPA and a law degree, I'm surprised he doesn't go into forensic accounting. edited to add: or become an expert witness in finance cases. I would think that would pay pretty well. I'm sure even he would know not to blame the router.
  15. Thanks. I saw the "bicycle trip" picture, but I did not know for sure that she was courting Sam. I hope that outfit was for Jill's benefit, and not Sam's.
  16. She wore this outfit to church?? I fell so bad for Sam and his siblings. I wonder if they hear the laughter behind her back.
  17. I just can't watch. I cannot stand Demaris, and I am disappointed that she is on so many shows. She takes all the joy out of the show. Absolutely can't stand her.
  18. Maybe he has a job at a school that is not in Southern California. I don't know know anything about their house, but I am surprised that it is not priced higher in that area.
  19. I can see him teaching at a college more than I can see him as a preacher. He seems to have a very friendly personality, and perhaps a steady teaching schedule would appeal to him. I am wondering if he already has a teaching position somewhere and needs to relocate.
  20. He may have changed his mind as to what program he wants to take. He may have decided he likes teaching more than preaching.
  21. The site was running great last night, and now it is so slow it sometimes does not come up. I hope they get this fixed soon.
  22. Well, he does look older, I guess. I am very surprised that they are still together.
  23. Maybe their "Happy Mail" has stopped arriving.
