  1. I do think to be fair that we need to separate her intellectual accomplishments from what she can do physically. We have seen her struggle in many episodes when Will was smaller to get him in and out of the car or into a dining room chair. I am remembering the one when Bill quipped in the background "oh he put that 2 pounds back on.." Even in China when the photographer picked Will up for his photo remarked on how heavy Will was and that boy has had a lot of cake since then!! LOL
  2. and the magician episode with Jack Cassidy where Columbo goes to the magic store and the clerk chops the carrot in half then puts Columbo's hand in it!! That was hilarious and sure seemed like it was not rehearsed as PF looked scared and was so giggly!! Rewound that spot several times! Oh and the sergeant chasing Columbo down at every turn with his new raincoat over and over....first in the hallway and he keeps yelling Lieutenant Lieutenant and Columbo keeps yelling YES YES YES YES (he said it four times!) and comes back for the damned coat!
  3. I think if anyone is going to jump on a possible opportunity like that (if the demand is that great) it would be Chloe who has the skills, experience and business sense in one great package. Yes at some point the show will come to an end...I do wonder what will make Bill and Jen decide it is time?
  4. Good points! And you are right, I remember the huge mainframe computer system that ran in our large manufacturing company, had it's own huge large room with air conditioning all the time, was super noisy...many memories of my early years from watching that one with Jose Ferrer and the time Colombo went to the office for a rundown on some suspect and that super efficient dark haired lady behind the counter that ran and ran and ran that mainframe print out on dot matrix paper...I remember laughing out loud at how long it was and Columbo waiting for it while pacing etc...very funny but great memories of the old stuff. The answering machine used in the fitness episode!
  5. So read any good books lately? The Kleins haven't written one yet?
  6. I think my fave villain is Jack Cassidy but there have been many! The magician episode, the one where he is a "writer" that Spielberg directed are my absolute faves. I also loved the cruise ship episode with Robert Vaughn! I could watch these 3 over and over and still pick up something new. Also loved the Hollywood Bowl one with John Cassavetes. I record them all and just when I think I am done here comes another one. The episodes in the 70's were the only ones worthy of watching. They tried again in the 90's and they didn't work at all! There was something missing from his character and the fact he was that much older didn't sit well. There was one particular one he made with Faye Dunaway whose face was unrecognizable from surgery or whatever...anyhoo they were trying to flirt and it was completely gag worthy...the big yuck!
  7. I watched them too and couldn't believe the difference between then and now....WOW! My info guide said 2006 on the 14 kids one so 8 years later has certainly aged Michelle facially I noticed, her skin was bright and dewy almost and her red lipstick jumped out. Her voice was so different and normal, this high squeak that she does now is awful sounding...she must do it on purpose thinking it is cute and makes her younger....my theory anyway. The kids stared at the cameras a lot showing they were reasonably new to seeing them around yet seemed comfortable answering questions one on one. The girls look so different now..I had trouble picking out who was who in some cases....Jessa no but the rest big time....must be the added make up and up to date hair dos or should I say hair dos because back then it was let it grow and tie it back period! Red shirts then blue, then green, wow! And the girls in those big black shoes/boots. Michelle did seem more hands on with the kids and I thought the kids learning chores was great except I am not sure why the "owner" of the tasks aren't ultimately Michelle or dare I say it JIM BOB!? They seem to stick to the way things were done way way back when....men outside and women doing house chores. I was glad to see the boys do cleaning tasks though and if they cleaned up around their own toilets they might be more careful! LOL I found it odd she kept saying fruits and vegetables like she was defending it. I am sure they eat more of that canned than fresh...can you imagine bringing home strawberries for 16 people and that is just one fruit?!? How about bananas, almost 3 bunches for one feed? They would need their bus just for the fresh stuff...not buying that then or now! What a difference TLC $$ and exposure has made in their lives! How long had they been doing the show before they built that 7000 sq ft home?? Still boggled at 7000....and they all sleep in the same room and share beds...why?
  8. I believe one of the rules of the forums is to read the last 15 pages of each thread before posting.
  9. "Well" might be a stretch but he will definitely do better! Zoey is thriving but you sure lost me with Will! If at 4 years old not being potty trained and able to communicate is thriving then I agree but Will lags behind Zoey and is twice her age.
  10. Oh I agree and I remember it well. It was unfortunate we didn't see Will actually interact with any of them, they appeared to be attendees for the sake of the show....Will is in his own world for the most part, doesn't talk/babble with other kids and many were much older and were just watching at the party. If Will doesn't interact with Zoey he is likely not interacting with other kids, especially strangers.....we saw how well he did that with his scooter at the handicapped park. And Nausetgirl I completely agree, Will is not ready and needs interaction as he has enough going against him with his dwarfism without adding speech/toilet delays. They are too busy jetsetting the country.
  11. Not sure how we know this but I am happy he is around other kids although we don't see that either, we just assume. He needs to be with other kids to start speaking more than one or two words put together which some are calling a "sentence."
  12. True, Will can't learn socialization without socializing!
  13. Snark is about the show not the posters....
  14. I agree! I too wish TLC would not show us problems! I do believe TLC paid for everything for the guests including airfare, hotels, meals and other expenses. It wouldn't have been much of a show with only a handful being able to afford the trip. The hotels would have donated their rooms/meals/transportation as advertising, the wedding planners to get business. Maybe Chloe and TLC are talking about a show.
  15. I didn't know there was another alternative to pull-ups/diapers? I know underwear doesn't look like that. I think the majority of posters talking about Will being "behind" in this area are wondering why. Sure on special occasions with little access to a washroom etc etc let's fallback on the pull-up but I think Will wears them every day all day. No problem eating fruit with your fingers but not cottage cheese or yogurt.
  16. Yes you could see the top of his pull up when he was sitting at the door dressed for the vow renewal before they left the hotel and again when Bill lifted him out of the car. Will is putting on weight! His shirt hugging his body in the wind sure showed his protruding belly. And he doesn't listen does he to the cautions about food and manners when told to eat off his own plate and not the serving plate he continued and Jen did have to remove it. He still hasn't grasped using a fork/spoon yet, still eats with his fingers yet continues to pick up a utensil not really being successful with it so he goes back to his hands....it appears the fork/spoon are not small enough for him and I wonder why he doesn't have his own like most little ones do and I know they are at a hotel so pack them. I didn't hear Will using any sentences, at most 2 words together....Baba, mess, mine, park, beach.....he certainly seems to want to but it just isn't happening....even Jen said at one point she didn't understand him. She was pushing him so hard to answer her questions which came one on top of the other so quickly. And him helping her with her vows..yea right.....he moved away from her twice! I remember TCH had concerns about their portrayal on the show in the beginning so going forward to another season I am sure they wonder where it will go too.
  17. Seeing Zoey get a pedi was too cute and she pulled her usual NO to putting her feet in first until the bubbles were added. She is adorable! Will is cute and it appears shorts and shirts that hang out are going to be his wardrobe staple too. Bill dresses like a slob! He went to the trouble of getting Chloe for Jen's dress and all that goes with that, got appropriate dress up clothes for the kids including what is becoming her signature "the flower headband" although she didn't have it on at the beach if I recall as I am sure it was too windy. The sun ended up coming out and it was a good call to continue there after hiring all those planners! Wow I wish the focus had not been on it being all about Jen! It was like it was "her" vows that were being renewed not "theirs." On and on it went about all these people coming for Jen? Um no Bill they were coming for both of you. It was more like a Jen surprise party! Which one was her brother? Thank God for the little crackers/cookies which kept both Will and Zoey quiet during the ceremony. Jen did seem like she was feeling her drinks! Bill looked a tad embarrassed or uncomfortable when she wouldn't trust him to let him feed her the wedding cake, she just couldn't relinquish control in case he pulled a funny and made her look silly in any way...it had to be perfect! And yes they did not do any filming of Will with the cake....geez wonder why! Zoey running to Jen on the dance floor wasn't to join in on the fun it appeared she was a bit scared or something.
  18. Well Bill and Jen enact the script so they are just as guilty of misleading the viewers hyping situations that aren't real...they could say no and let's keep it real please....I would rather watch that.
  19. Yes, a few of us have commented on it. Will's UH OH when Bill said in SF that Jen and Zoey were going shopping and he had his mouth full; Will saying Mama when they were in the train station in NY and of course his back was to us, and him rhyming off the letters of Happy Birthday mostly with his back to us....some examples I have noticed where he is eating or his back is turned and suddenly the audio is crisp and clear.....??
  20. Hmm then I wonder how the words get added to what we see/hear?
  21. You're killing me!! Geez I wonder what Will might say....Mama! Baba! Eat! Zoey! Will! Ceck! Now Will put them all together in a sentence! "Mama Baba Zoey Will Eat Ceck!"
