  1. Most restaurants have a children's menu. Especially one that caters to little kids bowling alley and claw games.
  2. I do not see TLC crew ordering the food. I see Bill ordering two milkshakes, burgers, fries, etc so it falls back on the parents--Jen and Biill-- who make a point of sharing info on the difficulties of being a little person and one would think--since they claim their show is educational--that they would try to set an example. Again, I believe Jen tries but Bill, no.
  3. Then they are over ordering on TLC's tab. Still wasteful. And showing their kids that it is ok to order huge amounts of food.
  4. I suspect Bill was paid by Conagra to help market Manwich. Another infomercial via The LIttle Couple. I think the title of the show All Aboard should refer to all the product placements hopping on The Little Couple bandwagon.
  5. Bill does what he wants in terms of feeding the kids. He does not sit there and say OK, let us be examples to show the viewers what a healthy meal for kids looks like. Jen may be the doctor but she is not around when he buys all the ridiculous amounts of food for the kids, He even made a snarky comment about Jen wanting to test everything for mercury or something like that. There is no reason to believe that he behaves differently off camera. They have been doing this now for many years and are very comfortable living their lives in front of the TLC crew. Jen and Bill are even consulting producers for the show. In fact, he likes to ham it up for the cameras so naturally he would order huge hot dogs for the kids, his comment being there was no where healthier to eat on the way home, total bs. And i truly believe the kids are picking up bad eating habits from him.
  6. I think it is great that the kids enjoy some decadent desserts but what I am concerned about is portion control. Childhood diabetes and obesity is no laughing matter. Bill, in my opinion, has little sense of that whereas Jen does. I liked that she had champagne and french fries. How cool was that? But the kids are learning and picking up habits that will stay with them all of their lives. Bill is with them more than Jen is and that is unfortunate in that regard because they probably view Jen as the bad guy getting them to eat healthy foods. And if anyone reads the label on a MANWICH can they will see that is LOADED with sodium and corn syrup. Way to go Bill!
  7. I believe Jen tries but seems to be ignored by Bill and Nai Nai.
  8. If it is true that we do not see a great deal of their lives than one can not assume they eat healthy meals while the cameras are NOT rolling. Those kids are not just given treats for special occasions. They are shown eating junk food way out of proportion for their height and weight over and over.
  9. Those kids seem to eat so much junk food and sugar. Bill buys Zoey not one but TWO giant milkshakes, they eat a ton of ginger bread and icing, cake, adult size mugs of hot chocolate, huge chocolate chip cookies on the train and giant hot dogs at the bowling alley. He talks a good game saying they eat healthy but the only thing i have seen recently was the bribery sushi. Those kids are probably on sugar highs most of the day courtesy of Bill. I think Jen tries and then pushy Nai Nai feeds Zoey more cake against Jen's wishes. No wonder they like Nai Nai.
  10. I still recall Jen saying something like wait til Zoey gets here in response to the obvious bond between Bill and Will. So Jen has her mini me now.
  11. I would agree with these posts but I wonder if Jen and Bill would go along with it. Somehow I can't see them at the Special Olympics but hope springs eternal.
  12. I would not be the least bit surprised if one of the TLC crew stood there as long as it took to grab a toy and let it drop so Zoey could "find" it. Bill's over-explanation of the situation made me even more suspicious.
  13. I agree. Zoey could recite the book Jen was reading. Will is not there yet. And I think that notion is supported by the fact that these kids do not do Talking Head moments..not even with Jen and Bill sitting next to them. They are very comfortable with the camera crew so there really is no other reason than Jen and Bill must not think they are ready for some reason. I am sure Jen and Bill would love to show them off in that regard if they could.
  14. I agree more power to her. But i still think it was staged.
  15. To me, it is becoming pretty evident that Jen is really meeting her match in Will. She had to try to negotiate with him about the photo shoot, promising food, and she was unable to prevent him from dumping all that pepper into the meal she was preparing to the extent that Zoey would not eat it. And then when i heard her tell the doctor that she was experiencing orthopedic issues, I thought oh no.
  16. I hope Will and Zoey can channel their joy into fierce determination in the world outside of the Klein Arnold cocoon.
  17. if they really did not like the inflatable Christmas decorations, they would not have parked them in their yard.
  18. This show is turning into a giant infomercial. It would be fun to keep track of every product, service or organization that hops on the Bill and Jen --oops I mean Jen and Bill-- bandwagon. The Manwich mini commerical was an embarassment. I laughed when Bill said he could not cook anything because he did not have his cookware at proper height or something like that?? Oh no.. Maybe Judy sold the stool at the Garage Sale!
  19. Why were they in a separate seating area on the Polar Express train? There was plenty of room sitting with Jen and Bill and Will and Zoey. Oh yeah, silly me, TLC was paying.
  20. I was surprised too.. Dave and Judy got divorced and Dave got remarried. More power to them. It is ok. Many of us are confused.
  21. I was having fun with the notion of another Hopkins dr having a TLC show. He clearly better sense.
  22. So I have a theory about Jen's parents. And I am not saying it is good or bad. I think they are very dependent upon Bill and Jen for everything, including finances. This whole move-back-to-Florida thing just does not add up to me. Their seemingly endless availability and desire to take part in every freebie Jen and TLC offers -- which i call mooching-- puzzles me. Neither one of them seem to have jobs, friends of their own, or any interests other than being on TLC. It would not surprise me to learn that the reason they sold the house and almost everything in it was because they could not afford it. They were possibly one step or two away from foreclosure for all we know. Jen seemed uncomfortable at the garage sale, uneasily shuffling dollar bills around talking to her mom. Sure, they like to give the appearance of being well off but often these things are a sad facade. And Jen is complicit in this. And I think I understand why. I would be willing to bet that Jen feels guilty at many levels for their divorce, the financial struggles due to her physical needs and surgeries. She and Bill probably came up with various business opportunities to help them and repay them. That actually makes sense to me. Judy and Dave never had much money..Jen said as much in their book. Dave has had serious financial concerns..Jen's surgeries, TWO divorces, child support etc. He is not a wealthy man. His ideas for the BABA aprons etc never took off. Some people fancy themselves "entrepreneurs" and it just does not happen for them. I think there have been huge fights in the home and I think Will and Zoey have heard it all...ITS OVER.. for example. So I for one will not be surprised if the MOVE back to Florida does not really happen...and I HOPE I AM WRONG ABOUT THAT. I think the only beach house Dave and Judy will ever live in is the one the Jen builds. Is it ok to help your parents, yes. But I think these two are taking advantage of Will and Zoey and Jen and Bill and they will get what they deserve. I believe that Zoey randomly finding a stuffed animal for Will was totally staged. Probably one of the TLC crew stood there and tried the claw until one fell into the slot. Another poster phrased it well saying that it could have been a teaching moment for Will. But NO. Not only did Will get the stuffed animal Zoey found but he INSISTED that Bill go back and get him one from the claw. Spoiled brat.
  23. Wow, i never thought of that. I was afraid maybe there were two of those monsters driving around. On a side note, trash trucks to me will never be the same again.
  24. Can anyone help me figure out who was DRIVING the trash truck? Trashman just rolled into the back and it took off.
