  1. I hate those bear commercials. I miss Mr. Whipple!😃
  2. I understand why she didn’t like it. With all due respect to Ms. Hyland recasting would have seemed the way to go!
  3. Thank you @Egg McMuffin that explains my questions.
  4. So I‘ve now watched the first season. For some reason I was under the impression that they made excuses for the mother’s absence by saying she was out of town. Then when the second season began he was suddenly a widower. I haven’t been paying super close attention but it appears they just ignored her absence in the first season, without any explanation for her absence!
  5. So I remember watching this show when I was a kid and it first aired. I think I had seen a rerun here or there but basically I am watching it now for the first in years. I too find the girls ages confusing. From what I’ve seen so far it didn’t hold up very well. A lot of their issues seem definitely ’70’s and dated!
  6. I had just eaten a grits cake and shrimps at a well regarded restaurant on the previous Friday night! I would have thought at least GR would have been familiar with them!
  7. I’m almost embarrassed to admit it but I watched all 3 parts. Casey definitely knows all the psychological buzz words and phrases. I have no doubt that the family and household were screwed up. But nothing explains her behavior. The producers did their best to try and plant doubts in people’s minds. But that is an impossible task. There is nothing that would explain things to make any half reasonable thinking person believe that she didn’t murder her daughter! I do find the relationship with the private investigator who she lived with and works for interesting. I wonder what the real deal is there!
  8. I’m glad I’m not the only who is still struggling. It’s hard to get used to they and them referring to only one person. But I’m getting there.
  9. Glassman was having a drink in his office. That’s a common occurrence on TV. But is it realistic? Does that happen often in the real world? I would assume most people wait until they get home. I understand he wasn’t on duty or treating patients. Maybe it’s just me. But, somehow it seems inappropriate (for lack of a better word).
  10. Pepper seems to be perpetually in danger of being the guesser. Otherwise she’s a shoe-in. Most of this bunch probably has never even heard of her relative! Although he was famous among at least a couple of generations!
  11. I know. That didn’t make any sense to me either. But the actual game portion of this show doesn’t make a lot of sense to me either. I did laugh a bit with them thinking that MLK had anything to do with the Million Man March. Although I was a little bit off too. I thought it happened in the early 2000’s. It was 1995. Time flies!😉
  12. I am completely shocked he’s 50!
