Just caught up with this cute episode. I won't re-hash anything other than these comments/observations: There obviously was quite a gap in filming leading up to this episode as Zoey's hair is quite a bit longer and Jen seems generally less chemo-exhausted. Jen seems less whiney and more matter of fact about getting back to work and only have "quality" verses" "quantity time" with the kids. The egg-dying was cute, I still do it as an adult, I've done both the hard-boiled and blown-out versions. Will's pout face tactic was typical. I would have just ignored him. So I guess Bill can be the bad cop once in a while, sort of. Zoey looked super cute in her dress, but Will's vest/shirt ensemble just seemed odd to me. He didn't appear comfortable in it. So Bill thinks that Will is a super itelligent 4 year old since he was able to recognise an ice cream truck? They have seen one before on a previous episode and any normal toddler within 20 feet of one would probably know what it is. Then we have Jen's comment "It would be nice if you could hug your sister" (for the pictures) Still after that sweet non-posed picture, huh Jen? I've just alwasy been a fan of natural pictures myself in order to preserve how things actually happened. I wasn't shocked Will was hoovering down the strawberries, I was actually expecting it. Those are certainly more healthy than candy, cookies and cake. And of course Jen had to make it into a competition (yawn) New parents indeed. Bill seemed to have to over-analyze the egg hunt and how the kids were going about it. They appeared to enjoy it and had great fun with it for sure. I was never one as a child to handle chickens or other farm animals, so I am on Zoey's side with that one! Regarding Will in the stroller, I am sure he had a sugar crash after running around, eating ice cream, strawberries and a bag of animal cookies (and possibly more) What shocked me was that he was sucking his thumb. Last season, Jen seemed freaked out over that and was trying to get him to stop it. Oh well, I'm sure there isn't a shortage of orthodontists in Houston. Will and Zoey didn't interact with each other in this episode again. Where were the Easter Baskets?? Lastly and certainly not trying to cause a debate... I guess they don't attend a church? Both Easter and Christmas didn't have any religious suggestions at all. We learned from Bill that the Easter "miracle" was that both kids knew how to give him a back massage.... Anyway, I am simply commenting on that observation, everyone has a choice on how to celebrate regligious holidays.

I live in Florida and was visiting my sister in Michigan. It was hotter there than here in FL!

I've been meaning to comment about this. Does anyone else find it odd that JB was Derrick's virtual prayer partner? Maybe it was a mentoring type thing? I have been through various Christian prayer circle type things and usually you are matched up with someone age appropriate. It's like JB is out stalking the online prayer circuit trying to find husbands for the J'Slaves.

I'm back! I was on a little trip out of state. I need to catch up on the last two episodes and I will be commenting away!

When they focused in on Jen climbing up on the counter and back down very unsteadily, it just really struck me as a concern, especially when we just heard about her going to the docotor regarding her mobility issues as well as the "chemo brain" she may still be experiencing. It was not that long ago when little Zoey slipped on the fireplace and cut her head and you would have though the poor girl was in a coma. Since kate was right there, I thought it was careless of Jen to be climbing. I am sure she is a better climber than most, but it did make me cringe and it was very unsafe.

Whenever they bring up the "mistakes", they show J'Chelle as a cheerleader pic. There's always this underlying assumption that she is the one with baggage. I think they might have went into a bit of detail in the first book about it, a previous relationship or something...

I wonder if one of the questions will be about Will's potty training and how it's going. I hope and doubt it's not addressed as we saw too much of that on another show. Does he need to be out of diapers for "school" or have things changed these days?
-
I'm sure they did much more that they are willing to admit. They often say "We don't want our kids to make the same mistakes we made" No idea what that means or what the difference is....
-
I highly doubt they will home-school, but you never know. Bill did mention they will both be going to "school" in fall, I am assuming it's bascially daycare.

Claudine from Backwater Kansas on Twitter wants to know, "How excited were you to finally meet Will an Zoey?" "We were very excited!"

Not really, it's just usually info and scenes that never came into the episodes. The "viewer" questions usually seem fake, but you never know.

Last Season, she cooked Chicken and Broccoli for Will and Bill for lunch. Bill went on and on about how it was "unusual" for Jen to be in the kitchen cooking, so she obviously can cook, just does not prefer to do so. Thus all the take out, etc. In that episode, she did cut the chicken up for Will, but it looked like enought o feed and army. I thought she did well trying to stop Will from feeding the dogs table-scraps.

I could have sworn they said Dr Sarver specialized in high risk or something similar. Oh well, she seems to be out of the picture now.

Bianca is quit witted, does well with the hair and makeup. I'm not surprised she won, but over all I felt this season was sort of blah and anti-climactic.

I'm sorry but the mainstream media seriously need to put the axe on the "I axed him a question" conundrum.

I loved how the Doctor had to correct himself when saying that if nature, err, I mean God, allows you to become pregnant again....

I think I'm going to make my own water-balloon tying stick. It was a great idea. Add me to the list of "center-of-the-pan" brownie lovers. I was SMH at the collapsible-box girl. At least she's trying to break free of that dreadful stereotype.
-
Very true, Dr Sarver, who was their high-risk obgyn in the earlier days, seemed to be more and more annoyed each time J'Chelle was pregnant again.

I was shocked that Bin's fame-whore mom didn't even get a talking head!

"Blackout Siezures" sounds like withdrawal off something to me.

I was waiting for a reason why they had to bring the dogs in as well, like to feed them, etc... I guess it was just for the cameras. Jen being basically dumbfounded that the one dog was able to get on the counter was priceless! Kate seemed to be over it all and was out the door faster than all get out!

Bill said that it's "Not cool" to hold hands? Will is four for God's sake!

It was nice that Bill got time with his bothers. I think it was right for Judy to decline that invitation. Attending those shows and trying to secure merchadise that will actually sell is no easy task. It seems that Judy has a handle on what sells and what does not. Jen seemed to do fine with the kids on her and with Kate's help. I agree that adding the dogs into the mix was a bit much. Keep in mind TLC crew were there also and I am sure helped out. The most concerning thing I saw was Jenn climibing rather unsteadily onto a counter to get something. Kate was right there, why didn't she ask for assistance? Going both up and down she seemed very unsteady. Can you image had she fallen and gotten seriously injured? I am sure as a Little Person she's used to climbing, but just last week she was seeing a doctor about her post-chemo-cancer mobilty issues. Didn't they spend a bazillion dollars outfitting the house specifically so they could do things easily and safely? SMH Again the arts & crafts edit set you up to think the kids were going to be out of control and messy. They were very well-behaved and Will simply squirted out a bit too much glitter-glue. I loved the sign! Also, I don't buy the fact they slept all night long in the tent. Isn't Will on a CPAP?
