  1. It's beautiful, isn't it?! I get way too excited when I see something new posted about Dani & Mo.
  2. Late to the party... If this has already been answered, I apologize. Was this actually an adoption? Years ago, my XH & his wife wanted XH to adopt her kids. The kids' dad did NOT consent to the adoption, however, he DID consent to a name change. I don't know all the details of their arrangement. I do know that the biological dad has very limited visitation, no child support and XH acts as an equal parent in medical and educational decisions. He'll also retain guardianship should something happen to his wife. They had to go to a hearing before a judge to make it all official, sign papers, etc and took a family picture. I know this because my kids went, too. Seems to be what the Brown Klowns may have done?
  3. I would definitely find a thread about the psychology of hoarding very interesting! My mom is a mean hoarder, for lack of better words LOL and has this odd victim mentality. And a shopaholic, in a weird way. Brand new, expensive furniture & appliances are never used. Still wrapped in the delivery plastic. Piled high all over. In all her houses. Lord knows what's hidden in storage sheds. Brand new beautiful bed in the house she lives in now. BUT she sleeps curled up on this pos mangled little couch she bought at goodwill. And complains she can't sleep and is always sore. Insanity LOL
  4. She rarely leaves her hoard to visit any of us. When she does, it's like she's very uncomfortable and can't wait to leave. Much like we are when we visit her hoard LOL She stopped by my house the other day and hyper focused on the dust on my ceiling fan in the kitchen and wouldn't stfu about how gross it was and I needed to clean it. It's true, there was dust on my ceiling fan. But... Damn
  5. I marathon watch all the hoarder shows. They're cathartic for me, in a way. My mom is a hoarder and always has been. Today, she owns 4 hoards and we have no idea how many storage sheds. She also owns a rental home and hoards the rent checks until they're no good anymore. She buys a home, tears it apart with grandiose renovation plans, fills it to the brim with stuff, starts searching for another one because her plans never come to fruition, and one day just walks out the door to the next home. Rinse and repeat. The older she gets, the worse it gets. She's only been in this home 2 years and is already searching for the next one. She does her dishes and makes her bed, and refuses to have a cat... So, in her mind she's NOT a hoarder. It's always infuriating when she flips out because your glass left on the table has made her house a mess. She can see your glass, but not the mounds of shit piled everywhere.
  6. I didn't watch... How did Christine act about the divorce nonsense? Is it possible that Janelle's seeming to try to make up with meri was sympathy, empathy, pity even? Maybe, the 3 of them will get together and out scheme Robyn. That's a plot line I'd watch! Robyn is a scheming bitch.
  7. In looking for Seymour's epi, I stumbled upon something called the worst roach infestations (not an exact quote). I haaaaaaad to look. Don't.
  8. LOL it does smell like cookies here. I want to see her! As in real life see her. I missed the episode.
  9. What?! She lives in CR?! I will now be watching for her everywhere I go!!
  10. I saw him pick up a pan. He may have taken a lid off? It was literally crawling with roaches. Gah!!
  11. Eeeek!!! I caught a glimpse of Seymour and his roach infestation! I've gotta find it online so I can watch it... I'm so ashamed...
  12. I keep hearing it repeated that Robyn lived in a trailer with NO HEAT... Oh the horror! However, I recall at some point, and probably only once in passing, that she had a wood stove in that trailer. Wood stoves are a very valid & viable heat source. I lived the last 11 years in a 2 story house with a wood stove as a heat source. The stove was in the basement and does a very nice job of heating the basement, main floor and upstairs where the bedrooms are. The only thing I can find in Robyn's NO HEAT theory that might be factual is that it's NOT for the lazy. Fires must be tended. Sorry if that's been said already, it just irritates me beyond belief when I hear that because... Well, I think she's exaggerating, if not lying.
  13. Okay, okay LOL I like my misspelling better.
  14. Insomnia strikes! So, I'm watching Star Trek: Next Generation. This episode features a nasty alien species called the Kardasians. Wish I knew how to do pics... The resemblance is striking.
