Certainly a good start to conversation about being comfortable in your own skin, literally. @jacksgirl My mom was a public school teacher and I was a preschool teacher and I understand what you mean about the school not wanting controversy. I'm sad that it's a controversy to exposed kids to all kinds of differences no matter what they are. @twirlygirly It's so crappy that tools for living your life with independence and mobility are so disregarded and the people are so ignorant.

@profreader Everyone in my dorm watched that episode in the common. Like 60 people all crammed in on all available surfaces. It was AMAZING. I honestly think that's where I got my TV itch from. I know the minute I found MightyBigTV I was so happy. I was always a big book talker as well, you know that kid that would see you reading a book and be all "OMG I love that book! What part are you in?" When Harry Potter came out I was all HERE are my people. hee.

This forum is NOT for discussing your opinion on transgender issues. It's about a TV show and the content presented on the TV show. As the SHOW deals with this stuff you can talk about it in the EPISODE threads but for now, feel free to educate yourself but no more posts about this. It's invasive and the actual people dealing with their private medical lives don't need a "hey look at this freak" mentality played out here in the comments. Discussing this stuff outside the actual content of the show (which can I remind everyone hasn't aired yet?) is going to get dicey and I don't want to have to hide posts like crazy. Keep reminding yourself to make "I" statements. In my opinion, I think, etc... your opinions on the show not other posters and not other posters opinions on the show.

OK, I'm giving some time outs and as you can see I've hidden a variety of posts. Content in this thread should be about the EPISODE. If you comment was less than 1/2 of relevant content it's been hidden. I've said is many many times; there are some people that you don't agree with and that's fine but engaging in arguments in the thread is completely against our site policy of "be civil". I've tried several mod notes about infighting and about our ignore feature and it's not helping so I will start hiding and giving time outs. Please try to continue to talk about the events of the episode and your opinions on the episode without smacking down on your fellow posters.

Guys don't start our season 23 speculation yet. ;) Please remember the ignore feature and use it with people you are fed up with. It beats attacking them in the thread. Snark the show not the posters.
