  1. Stopped watching GH long ago. So Stutters WHORErinthos is still rampaging thru the show, like Godzilla did Japan. Is there anyone he hasn't fucked/knocked up yet? Why don't he just gather the ones he missed in the Town Square, then blast them with his population paste. I fear what the result would be, if Sonny and Fertile Myrtle Webber ever bumped uglies. :Shudders:
  2. I love this one, Billy Bob was hilarious. As were the late Bernie Mac and John Ritter. R.I.P.
  3. Branaugh's 1996 version of Hamlet, was a major undertaking. But he pulled it off, acting was overall top notch and amazing visuals with lush colors. Poor Jack Lemmon, you could tell he was struggling with The Bard's way of speaking. Back then I recall some criticism about Kevin casting himself as the Totrured Prince. Main issue, him being too old. I had no issue with that.
  4. In 2001, PBS aired a modern retelling of Othello starring Oz's Eammon Walker as The Moor. Christopher Eccleston and Keeley Hawkes, were Iago and Desdemona in this version. Set in the UK, with them being in law enforcement. Everytime I see Idris Elba, keep hoping another adaptation is done with him as the titular character. This and Hamlet are my favorite works from Shakespeare. Also liked Julie Taymor's 1999 adaptation of Titus Andronicus. All this talk, makes want to watch some now. Maybe BBC's Hamlet with Ten and Sir Patrick, own it on blu and heard it was great.
  5. My Christmas WATCHathons cover several genres, including action and dark comedies. Die Hard 1-2 Lethal Weapon Reindeer Games The Long Kiss Goodnight(CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED) Money Train Running Scared (1986) Invasion USA First Blood Turbulence The Ice Harvest Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. Exit Speed In Bruges Cobra Other movies set during that time... The First Deadly Sin Diner Maniac Cop 2 Eastern Promises The Proposition LA Confidential The Gangster Squad Go Less than Zero Jennifer Eight Alien Raiders Wind Chill Frozen River Dead Bang Vanshing on 7th Street ATM Night Train Murders Dead End Behind Enemy Lines High Crimes Rabid The Bourne Identity The Children (2008) While She Was Out P2 Nobody's Fool
  6. Crash vs. Brokeback Mountain... The Academy went with the safer choice, which saddens me. Crash was an overwrought and heavy handed Lifetime Network MOTW, about racism. That wasted an overall solid cast. Brokeback Mountain was a beautifully shot and acted film, about two people that fell in love. A love, that goes against what many in society deem acceptable. In this case same sex love, but easily could've been interracial or rich vs. poor. JMO
  7. Josh Harnett was the best thing about "O" , Stiles was okay but Mekhi Pheiffer truly disappointed me in the titular role. The 1995 version was great. Being an AA female I was so pleased to see Fishburne as The Moor on the big screen. The first black actor to play the role in a major studio film adaptation. Branaugh was amazing as Honest Iago, one of his best acting performances to date IMHO. Plus you got solid supporting work for Irene Jacob and Nathaniel Parker. As Desdemona and Cassio.
  8. HAHAHAHAHAHA, Thank You! The format takes some getting use to, but I like it here so far.
  9. Everytime I see the promo, Oded Fehr comes to mind. Looks like a project he would've been perfect for IMHO. They get side eye for casting Adam Raynor in the lead, trying to pass him off as Middle Eastern. With that said, it does look interesting and I'm glad to see Ashraf Barhom involved. He was excellent in the 2007 film The Kingdom.
  10. My prediction.... Amanda will go on a shooting spree during the season finale.
  11. I was cackling like a damn hyena during that scene. Also when Jack casually smashed that guy's face, then carjacked him. Never realized how much I truly missed Bauer and how he has NFTG.
  12. Renee Zellwegger was cute back in the 90's, looked healthy and could open her damn eyes. Jolie was also pretty back then, after getting with Pitt she started wasting away and looking Gollum-ish. Same with Emma Stone, she's looking like a Hollywood Lollipop Head with a stick thin body as well.
  13. So Meat Cleaver Hottie's name is Hobb, a cook for the Night Watch. Hey Boo!
  14. While drunk and wearing her (itty bitty titty) breast plate. I was LMAO @ that and her drunken rants, during Blackwater.
  15. While filming the period drama The Golden Bowl, Jeremy Notham verbally attacked Kate Beckinsale. Reducing her to tears. Her then BF Michael Sheen, was on set that day with their infant daughter Lily Mo. Upon learning what happened, Sheen confronted Jeremy. With a fist, to the face!
  16. He wasn't not here for any of the Wildings bullshit, in his kitchen. They learned that night.
  17. Allister was slashed in the gut, so he probably bled out after being dragged away by his men. Like others stated, a total asshole but stepped up to the plate and kicked some Wilding ass. The way dude admitted Jon was right about sealing the tunnel, true to the character.
  18. Actually, it was Neil Marshall who directed tonight's episode.
  19. Dude walked out with it, hoisted over his shoulder like come get some of this bitches!
  20. Anyone else notice the guy who handled business, with that huge blade? Looked like it was the kitchen or dining area.
  21. First episode ever, with Kit as the lead. Also I believe, the shortest featured cast list in the opening title credits.
  22. RIP to those brave six that held the gate, that was a great scene.
  23. Welp, someone here called it and the kid killed Ygritte. LOL @ Cue Ball running to hide where Gilly and the baby were. I want to have Jon Snow babies, that is all. Finally as expected, Neil Marshall returned to direct E9. He also ran the show on S2 E9, Blackwater.
